Looks like you've found something that works for you, without falling into the trap of turning minimalism into a competition. Your videos are most helpful, and I appreciate them greatly. Best wishes to you and your family!
How do you like Ocala? I was born and raised there! I suppose you have discovered the springs (Juniper, Blue springs, and salt springs are some of my favorites), nice cold water swimming spots. Also, Ormond is the closest beach, but take the extra time to explore St. Augustine, it's kind of unique, as it's the oldest city in America. I live in East Tennessee now, and run in the mountains, but I miss never needing a vitamin D supplement. :) Enjoy. I'll be down there in June, if we cross paths, we can high five and do some push-ups among the palmettos. Keep up the good work!
Brother, first and only workout program I bought was your "get strong" program. After that I moved to weight training and it benefited me a lot, I think everyone should build their base with bodyweight training. Thanks a lot!
I am embracing minimalist thinking not just material wise but also my diet, training, the people I have around me, alcohol consumption and other aspects. In turn I focus on what is important and make the world better by shunning excess and overindulgence. Yes I have a minimalist haircut as well 😅
hey. hey.. Al, you are in my Backyard...Florida is a great place to practice a minimalist life style. I let go of so much stuff, my belongings fit in one Backpack..
Hey Al, just got a copy of your Old Man Strength book and I’m really enjoying the simplicity and brevity of the workouts. Out of curiosity, what type of routine do you follow now that you’re in your 40’s? Could be a good you tube video topic to cover as I think many viewers would be interested to see what your workouts look like these days.
It is the wise aproach to life because focusing on unnecesary things can make life unhappy. Especially in a society that promotes consumerism. The sadest thing is that there are a lot of people that waste their life chasing money and only realise it when its too late.
Hey hey hey! I'm competing in a full contact Karate tournament in a few months. Is there a way I can train my body or harden my muscles with calisthenics to absorb tough impacts like leg kicks or knees to the stomach?
Congrats on leaving the Peoples Republic of New York, enjoy the freedom of FL! I was wondering when I saw you post yet another video in FL how long you were going to be staying there. I personally love & desire a minimalistic lifestyle, but as a husband, father of nine, and a person that thrives on independence I have a lot of tools whether that is for working on anything around my house, keeping our fleet of vehicles running, or building projects. In one way I would love to have the bare minimum, but than that would require more money & having to rely on others to fix or maintain things so it has been a struggle trying to find a balance, and with six of those nine kids still at home the amount of camping gear, warm weather stuff, cold weather stuff we have just gets ridiculous in a hurry.
Wow somebody else who moved just to get more sun and to be in nature? I literally just told a dude how stupid he is thinking sun gave him cancer...I jus moved to Mexico for the same thing! (Its wayy cheaper than Florida) so big ups to you no wonder I am subscribed that is such a beautiful thing more people our honoring the sun and nature thats the TRUE connection to God nameste brother!!!
Look out for fire ants. They're no joke down there. Also, palmetto bugs. The sun will age you mad fast. Keep your face covered bro! Melanoma is no joke.

Hi Al, great video as always! Can you share how your daily meal looks like? Thank you!

Al, thanks! Awesome video. Primitive comes to mind. How often do you play your guitars & what kind of music do you play?
My Mom lives in Ocala. It's beautiful.
I was like Al’s making bank with a pool that size in Brooklyn.
Will you have any workshops in Florida?
Im a minimalist in everything
Is there a discount code? I missed this video during the summer sale.

Minimalism isn't necessarily about owning less than everyone, I think it's better to look at it as owning what you need for specific activities.
like owning a swimming pool ?
Hey hey hey Al, how are you ? What about calisthenics and blood pressure ? I'm told strength exercises aren't too good in that case. Thanks a lot 👋😉
Minimalism is the way to go
Smart move. I wish I could convince my wife.
I wished I could afford a swimming pool...I'd be doing lap swim every morning right after my coffee.
Hey Hey Hey
Hit that like button ⭐️✌️👋👍
Well you got a pool 😂
So train from online or face time clients
If so how much you charge
Minimalist with a swimming pool.
😆😆😆
All houses in Florida come with a swimming pool

Nine kids? Congratulations!
Woo hoo, one meal a day is king.
