    Thank for these videos.
    I love two different type of breakfasts:
    Option 1. Eggs, one slice of bread + two slices of ham. A cup of coffee without sugar
    Option 2: oatmeal (just simple white oats) with milk, honey, one fresh fruit (banana or other) a tea spoon of peanut butter (natural crunchy PB with no sugar and no salt )
    I tried to skip breakfast but it's not for me. I wake up already hungry and usually I have my training before it.
    I don't count calories either because I learned to listen to my body.
    What do you think about my breakfast routine? Thank you AI 😀

    If one is doing fasting and to elevate their results, they should make sure to fast on their cardio and weight training days to maximize your efforts and results... I do the 20/4, basically for 20hrs (8pm to 4pm the next day) I don't eat except for 4 hr (4pm to 8pm) and I do this daily( I'm 4'6, 65lbs, I need to do this to maintain my weight otherwise I'll gain weight too fast and be a short tuby girl).

    This can be good news for vegetarians and vegans who eat clean, because I find it easy to keep my protein and micro intake relatively high while not eating too many useless calories. Plus, you can eat 2x a day and still get gains on a plant-based diet. I think any diet works as long as it helps with a calorie deficit and gives you enough nutrients.

    Hey hey Al, I bought your newest book "Get strong" (which is awesome) and Iam currently in phase 1. Iam doing Flex Hangs, but Iam not sure about the timings. For example the program says 20 sec in week 4, so do I have to keep my chin 20 sec over the bar and then do the negative? Then how long should the negative ladt, also 20 sec or as long as I can?

    • @TheTrogolizer
      @TheTrogolizer 7 лет назад

      Cuscuta83 I just got Get Strong myself, not as far along as you though. However, based on what Mr. Kavadlo writes/says it's probably a 20 sec. hold followed by a controlled descent.

    What about fat/oil. And it is healthy to remove carbs it is bodys best energy source

    • @Samishii00
      @Samishii00 7 лет назад

      Oil in itself should not be recommended at all. It's pure fat, take some simple carbs with that ? You got yor combo to build fat in your body.
      I don't recommend cutting carbs either, cut junk you take with the carbs.
      Taking some fruit ( banana for example ) is a really good choice post work out. You need to refill your gylcogen. Brotein in a cup of water is not the best thing to build muscle, you need glucose and fiber too.

    • @valmendez84
      @valmendez84 6 лет назад +1

      Oils are nutrient-dense, they give you nice vitamins and omega 3. Virgin olive oil is okay, other sources as well, if it's quality oil. You need fats for your brain, nerves, hormones production...
      Some fats also fuel you for a long period like eggs or advocado.
      Complex carbs are great, lentils or beans, oatmeal... Avoid white rice, white bread. Go for whole rice or some kinds of black bread if you really like it, it's tasty and nurishing (Germans can work all day after a breakfast of eggs, a slice of ham and black bread).
      Butter has vitamin A.
      Seeds and nuts have great fats, they're very nurishing, their oils are tasty as well (but they're so crunchy that you can prefer to put them in the salad rather than pouring them on it, gives a firework of tastes in a composit salad!)

    No breakfast, light lunch and heavy dinner? It's a little counter-intuitive. No having breakfast gets your body into starvation mode, so any bite you eat afterwards gets stored away in anticipation of the next lull in nutrition intake; a big dinner before sleep may reduce the effects of that, but it's not recommended to eat a lot before sleeping. But, hey, whatever works for you!
