Oatly is like 2$ here in sweden and also available in every store, hehe! The best one is the "delux" one (with extra fat)

Does Sweden also have the 1/2 gallon carton like the U.S? In Finland we only have the 1L carton and it's also about $2 converted from euro.
Planet Oat is the 1st one I tried(today actually) and I LOVE IT!
I freaking LOVE Planet Oat. It's amazing. It almost reminded me of straight up half and half, if you like thick, rich, creamy milk. Everyone in my house loves it.

I only bought Oatly so far and I’m so obsessed. I bought it just for making Mac n cheese but I can’t stop drinking it out of the container.
Im lucky, I live in Sweden where Oatly is made, and also where incidentally we grow a lot of oats, so I can easily get it, thought it sells out here too. So Oatly barista edition is my all time favourite for coffee, tea and milk drinks and I like almond if I´d like a glass of milk.

Planet oat for me. Yes its found at kroger (ralphs) and sometimes its on sale for 3.49!
As someone who lives in Sweden I use the blue Oatly for baking and cooking, it taste fine but to drink or to have in my coffee I always have the barista one :)
And here, the blue one costs the same as all other soy/oat/almond drinks.
I've started using the deluxe one since that came out, it's kind of in between the regular and the barista one :)

Oh yes the barista is the best one. I always order a huge amount because I can't live without it. If you tasted this one once you don't accept any other plant milk.

Cows milk ruined my stomach, so for years now I’ve avoided it and badly missed eating cereal. Oat milk changed my life. I get the Planet Oat extra creamy for my cereal and it’s been great.

I recently learned that dairy and my digestive tract do not agree. Which makes me terribly sad. Last week I found Planet Oat and OMG GAME CHANGER! I can have cereal again. Or just drink it! I will also be making my own.

I've tried Planet Oat and Elmhurst and I love the Elmhurst oatmilk! So good! I've also seen that Quaker Oats has their own milk now. *Commented before the video started lol so, if you mentioned Quaker sorry!*😆

This was so helpful! I've been wondering how the other brands measured up because stores near me keep running out of Oatly too! I would love a vegan yogurt taste test (especially for Greek yogurt).

Planet Oat is definitely my favorite and it's most available near me.

Well I’m glad to hear the Califia barista one is good, since I just ordered a case of it yesterday! I’ve been using Oatly in my coffee and like it, but I always want to try everything. :)
My fav i Oatly for sure! I also live in Norway so buying oat milk from Sweden is the most environmentally friendly

There’s a milk by Macadamia nut milk that’s unsweetened vanilla that’s my fave!

I've tried a few and my favorite to add to espresso is Oat-ly FULL FAT if you can find it. Not the regular, although regular is also good.
Planet Oat is my favorite and they have and extra creamy version as well, 120 cal. per glass. Same price, price is important to me.
Getting caught up on your blogs thank you for doing this our fam is totally bored with almond milk in our coffee's, Chai tea's so we were looking for something smoother and better tasting you guys gave us some great ideas.
Love these taste tests! I work for a grocery chain and recently traveled to help open a new store-- although we don't carry Oatly, we got several cases of Oatly misshiped to the store, so I got to take home like four whole cartons for FREE!! It was my first time tasting it and you're so right, it's INCREDIBLE. I was freaking out and no one else knew why I was so excited, haha! (P.S. Sun: Sagittarius, Pisces Moon, Libra Rising) Love your videos so much, Sarah!

what do you recommend as far as yogurt ---- I am just finding out that I am lactose intolerant and my dr said to try oat milk -- which would you recommend for cereal?
I think I just saw the barista one in NY recently. I was thinking about getting it because it seemed pretty pure without anything added to it. They had one without sugar if I remember correctly
I haven't been able to find most of these! Kroger near me has Planet Oat and a Quaker Oats brand oat milk. I haven't tried either because I'm a soymilk kinda gal but it might be nice to have non almond alternatives since almonds are so agriculturally costly to produce!

I just tried the low fat Oatly and I really liked it! And I like that it doesn’t have added oil in it.

Oat milk in Germany is soo unexpensive since oats grow locally here, while almond milk ist much more expensive... I'm glad I like oats much more : )

Thanks for the comparisons. Our family likes the Planet Oat one because we shop regularly at Kroger. The Silk Oat milk is also quite good, but I cannot always find it.

Things are way less expensive where u live 😳 I live in NY ..oatly is like $6 here or more depending on the store. I think I’ve seen it for $8
Oh dang! Yeah, I'm not super familiar with costs outside of California and Colorado but I would imagine NY would be super pricey!
Haven't been able to find oat milk where I live yet and I'm tired of almond milk now, I tried coconut milk and liked the texture of it. I'm a Leo sun, Gemini moon, and Capricorn rising btw😁

The chocolate planet oat is awesome. I bought it on sake for $2. My favorite coffee creamer is Califas pecan caramel but I'm not fan of their milks.
Literally just found the planet oat one in HT 30 mins ago! It was tasty! I like Oatly too and Elmhurst is greeeeat.
I have tried Oatly, Alpro and Innocent in the UK and it depends on what I am using it for which I prefer and the Oatly version. For coffee and tea I prefer Alpro, for cooking I prefer Oatly(It can depend on the recipe).I do like Innocent to drink straight from the bottle. For breakfast cereal I prefer to use Soya or Almond milk.
Is any of these available at Walmart?!?
Sarah, I make my own oat milk. One cup of oatmeal to 4 cups of water in a blender. Blend for 5 minutes and strain in a nut milk bag. After strained you can add vanilla and dates for sweetener. Also add 1/4 tsp. Of xanthan gum for thickening and it keeps in the fridge longer. May have to strain again to rid the milk of date pieces if they don’t blend up. Let me know if you try it.
Planet Oat Extra Creamy is by far our favorite oat milk. We tried these plus Quaker's (which tastes real weird)

The only oat milk I've seen in person is Oat Yeah and I didn't purchase it, and now I can't find it. Someone told me they sold Oatly somewhere on our island but can't remember where they mentioned.
What vegan milk goes with porridge or cereal
To this day, I have a hard time finding barista blend Oat-ly. I've only recent found it at the Wholefoods off the Las Vegas Strip which is frustrating to go to.
I live in Norway but go to Sweden every month specifically to buy oatly products, and where I shop there’s always a deal where you buy 2 1L cartons for 35 SEK which I assume is around $3.50, and the offer includes both barista, normal and chocolate❤️ Waiting for the deluxe edition to be that cheap tho. I’ve started making my own oat milk lately, it’s a lot cheaper for students, I just use the barista one for coffee

Wow...we live in England, Oatly Barista and Blue Oatly are always on the shelves and are shelf stable until opened. I forget how BIG containers are in The US(where I'm from) that Oatly carton is flipping massive! We also have Oatly Heavy Cream and Oatly Creme Fraiche! It's amazing!

Please do a coconut milk because I’ve tried one brand and it tastes disgusting I don’t know if mine was just bad or does coconut milk actually taste like that
I like the Pacific Oat Milk for on my cereal, I ordered it from Amazon by the case, so the price point was pretty good. I haven't tried the others so I can only compare it to my homemade oat milk that I haven't perfected yet.
I've only ever tried the Oat Dream brand one which I LOVED, and the Silk brand one which is not good at all. Dying to try the Oatly one but I barely see it in any grocery stores in Michigan 😭
I’ve been buying the planet oat milk for a while because as it’s still new there are tons of coupons and sales for it and it’s delicious. Still haven’t tried oatly given the price and didn’t know Califia had their own. Thanks for sharing this!

I work at a Jamba Juice and we're doing a test run of some products including Oatley, and I just knew it wasn't going to be topped by any of the others. I'm glad my company knows how to choose a good oat milk, hahah.
Well, Oatley is the original Oat milk. Everything else is an imitation. 😉
Have you tried silk brands version yet? And how do you froth with oat? I don’t get the same froth as i do with soy!!
Duh you said you tried it haha i tried the vanilla one and think it tastes great. Reminds me of the end of sweet cereal and drinking the leftover milk.

You guys are really cute! That smile you gave him at the end was cute. I'm excited for more comprehensive taste tests! I think you guys do a better job at explaining the product taste, texture, etc. than other reviews I've seen. I've tried one oat milk by happy planet and it was horrendously sour. I have yet to find oat milk in my area. I live right next to a target and every time I go they don't have that silk oat milk. I hope Trader Joe's jumps on the bandwagon and creates their own uniquely flavored oat milk!

Best Oatly is the grey one, Barista Edition called iKaffe here in Sweden. Cost 2$ here.
I love that I went into Pat milk knowing nothing and just bought oatly for the packaging and seems I bought the best one 😂 as someone who doesn’t like soy milk and almond milk oat milk was a game changer!❤️
Thank y'all so much saved me alot of trial and error lol. Trying to cut out most of the cow milk again like I used to. I decided to try the oately milk. Thankfully that milk isn't hard to find in my state. Its at Walmart and a local grocery chain store. So I don't have to worry about 1 running out. God bless.

I recently tried Planet Oat and it was so good! I like that it's not as sweet as the almond, rice, or soy milk that I typically buy. I can't wait to try it with some pumpkin chai tea that I ordered over the weekend. I think $3.99 is a bit high for what it is, but worth it for the convenience. I'd like to say more people buying it will lower the price, but that will just raise demand and cause them to raise the price even higher.
I live in the UK and a new Oatly range has come out in the supermarkets where you can get skimmed, semi-skimmed or whole Oalty and the whole oatly is incredible, so thick and creamy and sumptuous. You can also get barista version, but I actually like the whole oatly more :)
That was a fun video. I have not tried oat milk but I will look for it now. I usually choose cashew milk.
Oh didn't know that oatly is so expensive in the states. I love oatly here in Sweden and especially the chocolate one. Both me and my daughter loves it.

They add enzymes to process the milk

Elmhurst also has an unsweetened oat milk (ONLY water, oats and a touch of salt!! - as clean as you can get!) They also have an original variety (vs.the Barista you tried here) which is lightly sweetened. SO yummy!!
Just showed this video to my students in school. It was good having to show alternatives to dairy. Been drinking oatmilk for years and hoping to get them to make the switch.
