- It’s Mother’s Day weekend and I took my mom to the Six Flags water park down the street from me known as Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, or just Splashtown to the locals.

You no longer need to make a reservation or wear a face mask. Just show up! They also got rid of the machines that take your temperature.

I don’t think so. I think you need a family membership or they all need their own membership. I don’t have kids, so I don’t really know.
Is the water deep
This was my childhood water park! We used to have season passes, and we’d have a picnic in the front under the trees by the parking lot. It really started going downhill when I was a teenager. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I went there today! My legs ached and the bottom of my feet hurt afterwards. Overall worth it! The Tornado made my heart race. Got sunburned on my face since I was wearing a shirt. After going on almost all the rides the lazy river helped my legs and feet feel better. Was so fun definitely recommend! 🏝️🌊🐬
Walking barefoot 🦶 on wet concrete can be hard on your feet, for sure. I totally recommend some sort of sandals. Glad you had fun and stayed mostly covered.
@@RobbZippThe “rusty pipe waterfall” if you actually went under it is ice cold and is super refreshing and was one of the best parts of the “paradise river” 😊

I hadn’t been in like 30 years, so I didn’t know what to expect. The slide lines were short and I didn’t feel claustrophobic at all.
The staff did need better training. I met several that were 16 year olds on their first day on their first job.

Somehow never been there before. Liked the video though. Splashtown does seem a little better than I would have given it credit for.
I’m not sure if I’ll go back. A lot of bad stuff happened there this season.

You used to have to make a reservation, but that stopped last weekend. Now you can just go and buy them there!

Do they have weight scales like at Dallas/SA? I am over 250lbs, so not sure if this is the place to go
I didn’t see any, but I only rode one slide. I am also over 250. I enjoyed the wave pool and riding around the Paradise River. I might go again Sunday and I’ll try to look. Good question!

Just went today on the tornado then when we went to eat a huge fight happened security was needed so the whole park closed early :/

If you have a Six Flags membership, yes. If you just have a season pass to that park, I don’t know. I don’t think so.
I always would go there every single year in the summer I didnt go last year but plan to go this year
