As a Brit, it makes me so sad to see the British Campaign be cut. WaW has one of my favourite campaigns, would have loved to see a British campaign in WaWs brutal and gritty style.
You can play a similar one on the PS2 port of CoD WaW known as CoD WaW: Final Fronts, the British Campaign is basically how they took participation during the Battle of the Bulge
Just a note: I think the Dirty Harry is actually used in game, it's the explosive 1911 you get while playing in coop with the death card related to shooting explosives while downed, keep in mind Pack-a-Punch wasn't a thing until Der Riese so making it a standalone weapon was probably the only way to have it working at the time.
The PPS-42 and M3 Grease Gun really should have been in the campaign, along with the (not cut) DP-27/DP28. It's disappointing that only one or two Call of Duty games actually have them. The Sherman and Type-97 medium tanks should have stayed in multiplayer.
If I remember correctly, it was supposed to have “vehicle team deathmatch”, simply a tank team deathmatch (basically a world at tanks game mode) and each team/nations has their unique tanks and dialogue for it, but it was cut…. (NerosCinema once covered it, but it was ages ago)
Fun fact, the british campaign looks like the campaign from world at war final fronts on ps2. Wouldve been amazing to see that campaign with extra dialogue & ps3 graphics.
Commanding Squad Leader would have allowed party members to spawn near you, similar to squad spawns in the new CoD games. Magic Wrench is pretty self explanatory, it would have given vehicles regenerating armor. The third perk has a description, it would have come alongside the also cut PMD-6 mines.
A Call of Duty: World at War British campaign did exist only if you’re familiar with the Nintendo DS version, which is how I first owned the game before I got the Wii version during Christmas.
So what this tells me was, the devs for cod games really cared and wanted to have as much in the game as possible, but the publisher forcing them to have a yearly game release made that impossible

The British campaign remains of the the reznov mission from BO1 it looks damn cool I love the light blueish white atmosphere it has looks cool sucks it got cut.
There are a plenty of other unused/cut content from the game that can still be found as leftovers in the game's code through the single player stuff. There was a complex melee combat system planned to be implemented but got scratched, but the devs did quote it a few times in the code as "to do". There are also unused scripted events in each single campaign mission that were scrapped for various reasons during development (most of it is because some were too glitchy or looked quite off). And also, some unused voice overs can be found there and can be put again in the game by unquoting them in the code.
It would've been cool to get a British Campaign where you fight Italian forces in North Africa and the Italian mainland so that the 3 major axis nations were covered.
The dirty Harry was most likely just copy and pasted for the zombies pack a punched 1911. Before the mustangs and Sally's from bo1, it was the C-3000 B1at-ch35 in WAW. Which did the same thing as the dirty Harry.

I feel like a British campaign would not have fit the super hostile and dark tone of WaW, The Japanese and Russians were absolutely brutal and while I'm sure the British fighting the Germans was absolutely horrid to be part of I think WaW did a good job with what you can play. The way the Russians fought the Germans was different than how the Americans fought the Germans, The Japanese went completely insane to the point of suicide.
Looks like a ton of effort was put in that campain map, I wish they released what was done. Also, I heard there was weapon skins that were banned for Japanese government/offensive reasons. Anyone know where I can view these?
WaW was good except for the theme. Annoying and loud vocals that made me mute the soundtracks. Vocals were not used very often in any other COD themes.

Pack a punch weapons are their own separate weapons too
even with this much cut content, waw still deliver more effort than Vanguard

WAW still holds up today as a classic but there was actually a PS2 version called Final Fronts which had a European Campaign set in the Western Front
