I have my first order of 36 hats all going to one place. How would you package? This order will be hand delivered but it will require each hat in something rather than leaving set on open table while people pickup their pre-order some during the day. Don't want visitors picking up an unpackaged hat and trying it on.
I ship flat bill New Era hats in poly bags, 4 oz and rarely have issues. save on postage plus boxes outweigh what customers think receiving a hat in a bag. for boxes you will save move money buying on eBay than at U-Line or Staples.

I am looking at getting a thermal printer, sp410, I ship lots of items that ship via ebay standard envelope, in a # 10 basic envelope. Question is, how do i print the labels...they are not the 4"x6" size?

Just print them on a 4x6 label then fold it around the envelope
I was also able to get away with sending hats in a 6x6x6 as long as long as you angle the hat the right way.
Yeah I can get most hats in a 6x6x6 box just not the flat bills, they need that extra 2 in
