The thing that I love about u is that u got an average bike not a bike like a Santa Cruz that make me feel better when trying to do theses tricks because it harder but ur proving that u can do these things on a bike like that
I've never in my life seen someone improve at mountain biking by getting a high end bike. Sure, they're nice and enjoyable to ride, but it's more about the rider. I'm glad you notice!
Being on a limited budget I ride a fake looking cheap heavy trials type bike (very low saddle if needed). The only thing a bike 20x the price would do is let me jump onto higher objects. On this heavy bike I can fly around tight muddy turns while kinda standing on the wheels, and I know its digging in. On a lighter bike I'd most likely just slide. Even the rotation weight of the wheels is great at speed, for stability, again something a lighter expensive bike may not do. To replace this cheap heavy beast with expensive bikes would need 2 models I believe - a trials bike and a downhiller, and perhaps even a BMX too, since mines great on skate bowls, with its weight and control. Who needs expensive stuff to have fun? :)
What's up, Seth! Good job with the videos. Your bike trick tutorials are some of the best here in RUclips. Instructions are concise and well explained. Thanks a lot!
hey dude. I really like your vids. it'd be a huge help to me and perhaps heaps of other MTB noobs out there if you could do a video on the different uses of gears. perhaps your preferences on urban riding like going from getting speed to gears for quicker wheelies. just all round gear uses. I know the basics and ive been riding for years, but my MTB skills are real average. cheers
You're doing the 180 with an anglish hop, which is not the best way, if you want to learn 360s or 180 bar (or anything else really) and you're used to do the 180 like that, it's going to be a pain in the ass. Try to do the 180 with an american bunny hop, and then you're going to be ready to learn more. Take my word, i've been there.
If I'm looking to learn this would a hard tail be the way to go? Seems like the bunny hop is the root of all. Guess I should focus on that right? Again, would a hard tail be the way to start?
just got my first MTB and while watching your videos I wondered two things, would you recommend different tires or can I street ride on the dirt tires and my second question would be seat height...in many of the videos you say to lower your seat. Is there a video explaining seat height, when to have it at riding level and when to lower, or is your always lowered?
+Seth's Bike Hacks, I've been practicing rolling backwards off of a wall for a while now, but can never seem to keep my balance to turn the bike back around. Any more in depth help? Does the fact that I'm riding a 29er with a 1x10 gear set up make a difference?
I ride a 26 in dirtjump fixed gear. Use you rear brake to 'create' the pivot point. When rolling back start to turn the bars one way and turn out that way. Being proper left vs right balance is a challenge here for me keep practicing! I'm going out rn!
when i try to roll backward, i always get it for like two feet then i always flip over to the left side. This also happens when i do a track stand why does this happen?
Seth's Bike Hacks do u think it works on a 33pound hardtail too ? I know its mostly about skill but i find it quite hard to do all the things shown in the online tutorials on my own bike unfortunately )):
I watched many of your videos and some of them are hard to do ... BEcause I'm only 13 yearsold and I use MTB CAN you make some tutorial that can do by teens like me !? I've already professionally the FINISH LINE and other tricks I can do rarely..
I let Google buttrape me with G+ just to be able to comment and tell you how much of a badass you are. Your tutorials are excellent. Thank you.
+N English Thanks! I feel your struggle with the G+

+Regular Guy Mountain Biking if you're looking to learn tricks I'd say the simpler the better, so a hardtail certainly fits the bill.
+Seth's Bike Hacks Thx! Your channel rocks!

Hello, your bike, pedaling even backwards?
Will doing smaller rotations like 80s or 90s help me learn to 180, or should I try to get it all at once?
Jim Gilbert i think 80s and 90s will only fuck up your rims, but I'm not an expert and you shouldn't take my advice on this subject.
Laurens Verheij I'm getting a new bike and therefore new rims next season. My current rims are already hopeless.
