    There are many off road high speed rollovers on youtuba. The typical result is what is commonly referred to as a yard sale. Wheels typically go like pinwheels of death, often whole axles cartwheel out into the the desert, control arms fold, rarely do you see a vehicle that looks even remotely close to running condition after a tumble like that. Truly remarkable! That build almost defies physics.

    • @matthewhall1068

      Well said sir well said but I think you missed one incredibly massive key point maybe even 2. Go on RUclips and find another vehicle (doesn't even have to be trophy truck that flips as violently as what them and that truck went through. An then only seconds after tumbling (missed key 1) fire right back up (missed key 2) let alone then be able to find any gear even if they only moved the 2/4ft!
      Absolutely incredible!! And honestly is still Blowing my mind 2w later!

    That was a violent crash, in the ones like this with all the flippy spinnys (sorry Ozzy Man) you are dissipating energy over a longer time. As a former safety official, the crashes that make my heart stop are the ones where a vehicle goes straight into a barrier/trees/a rock etc and instantly stops. The G load in those is more likely to cause serious injury and death.

I mean if you build a full-on, no costs barred, offroad racing truck its gonna get scratched' ha ha. When i hear 'trophy' truck or car I think of those guys wth lotsa money who only drive on the street all day showing off their shiny bolt on parts and paint job and never put the vehicle in the dirt ever. • @5PYZ3R
      @5PYZ3R 11 месяцев назад

      They'd be rated horrendously.. considering they don't crumple and also endanger everybody else on the road. That's the difference when you're able to be completely strapped into the seat with a harness + neck brace/HANS. Two completely different worlds of safety that can't be mixed.
      Unless you meant testing with the harness/hans on a dummy or something, that would be interesting to see but we pretty much already have the proof from drivers surviving bad wrecks just like this one

    • @Jvest18
      @Jvest18 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@5PYZ3R Yes. Have the dummy dressed just like a driver would be. In real life it would turn out just like motorcycle riders. Some wear gear some don’t. They could do the crash test with and without the equipment and gear. That would show people how detrimental it is.
