I know someone personally who got locked up with her husband for a week and was finally let go after sitting there a week and when they went to court the DA told the woman since you didn’t have anything on you and the drug paraphernalia was on your husband we will drop your charges if you sign this giving permission to use your cash bond for his fines. I was flabbergasted lol a whole week in jail for paraphernalia on a cash bond never in trouble before. Pickens county really will make up charges and when you go to court they will figure out a way to drop the charges while they still come out on top making money. Ironically this happens to FAR more white men than black, and there is an infinite number of videos just here on YT proving it. The reason the news doesnt ever cover them is simple; divide and conquer. News only talk about police brutality when it is a black victim (by design). Keep them separated instead of together fighting the problem. Skin color is irrelevant to the justice industry.

She should be held 100% accountable for all the settlements, his legal fees, and serve time in prison for her actions! Everyone should vote to abolish qualified immunity, make these officers learn the law, and make them think about the consequences before they act in an unlawful manner! As a black man my I also thought it was beautifully answered. 1 because when it’s taken to court if them pushing for racially motivated abuse without evidence weakens the case 2 it makes harder for the defense to find jurors in their favor because it makes more broadly relatable to everyone. Now do I think their could’ve have been some racial components absolutely even if it was her thinking (he’s black so he doesn’t have legal representation and this won’t go anywhere)

Love to you and your family. You are worth it Micah. You didn't deserve that Micah. Yes, that video showed her lynching behavior. I'm afraid she would have seriously permanently injured or worse. I believe you Micah. I am a fellow American of Native American and White decent. It's Americans and other people that are against this abuse and terror. I am grateful your brother captured some of this encounter. They're supposed to Serve & Protect not Terrorize and abuse. I am far away in Chicago and have friends in Law Enforcement also. So not a Police hater. That lady needs that badge stripped from her and to be charged for all this violence and abuse against you. Also in front of your little brother who I'm sure looks up to you, that you were caring for at the time. Also it's true, you shouldn't have to show your ID because your changing a tire on the side of the road. @@sydtopia1 Sir or ma’am, I will agree to discuss this with you if this does not turn argumentative.. I will leave an article at the end of this comment where it states that Micah is not a felon and the DA did not pursue on most of the charges, for the reason because the 5 charges that were place on Micah did not have any merit. And the charge that you are questioning was not even listed in Micah’s charges. Also it is legal within this year for citizens in Alabama to carry without a permit.
The questions that you ask are valid to you, in your mind.. but imagine if this was your child and all they were doing was changing a tire close to their aunt’s house while picking up his little brother and this horrific situation happened and then painting them as a monster? Even in this specific interview, all he could think about was whatever you do to him please don’t hurt his little brother and his family. AND PLEASE OFFICER DO NOT SHOOT AND KILL ME... there are some bad people that deserve the negatives that come to them. Micah Washington is one that did NOT deserve this, and this interview, along with the horrific clip that we all luckily witnessed for the safety of his life, shows that Micah is NOT a criminal and what happened to him is low down.
