alex¡s ! Shots fired 99% of the time is something other than shots fired or the person is gone about 2 seconds after the shots and there is no crime other than discharging a weapon so nothing to link up to finding anyone. In my home town most shots fired are by our “gangsters” at 12-15 years old that have got their hands on guns somehow. Occasionally they will shoot one of their own people but most the time they are shooting the ground or trash cans, fences just to scare or intimidate the locals.

Are you serious? Are you really that ignorant of what's going on within law enforcement Anybody with any amount of awareness knows that police officers are the most diabolical, corrupt, evil people there are out there. They are just members of the thin blue line gang, and their salaries are paid for by our tax dollars.
It is essential for individuals to remain aware of their surroundings and never trust the police!
I encourage everyone to capture a screenshot of this compilation of RUclips channels and view the footage featuring police officers captured on camera. After viewing these videos, you will certainly find evidence suggesting that a significant number of police officers do not warrant the public's respect. Only those with a naive perspective continue to regard police officers as heroes.

I have a couple questions for you. I’m a tall skinny kid and have been trying hard for months to work out with some pretty good progress. I went from not even being able to do 1/2 a pull-up to 12 each day. Will I do ok in the academy if I’m skinny? Also, my biggest worry with law enforcement is the mental side of things. Is it too mentally strenuous? Not just in the academy but day to day on patrol? Keep up the videos btw.

This girl is something else. one thing to remember for new cops, this applies to medics and firefighters as well. If you are afraid in training, you will be afraid on the street. If you are afraid on the street, you're going to be putting yourself in a position to where you can die very easily.

I was on the job for 30 years in the city. Retired as a night Watch Commander *
(Capt.) and every day I still evaluated how I did and I had to make sure that my decisions would hopefully result in every officer going home safely to their families.

Volunteer (ALS) medic here, you are entirely accurate. It's rough, because you know they're kinda gaming the system, but at the same time, there's no way they could live "normally" without supervision. They go in, get given their meds on a regular schedule, and are 'functional,' and they maybe last a week or two outside, but then they relapse and you're back out to the same street corner with PD because they've gone off their meds, and now you (or EMS) have to haul them back. Rinse and repeat.

Life itself is dangerous. There are police officers that retire just fine. With the countless of stories you hear on the internet on how people die you think being a cop is a dangerous profession? The human body itself is dangerous you don’t know what disease you’re currently developing, you don’t even know if you’re going to make it to work each day, you don’t know if you’re going to comeback home once you step out. Doesn’t matter if you’re a cop or not….this is life. If we are so afraid of living we are not living. If there were no cops in the streets who will protect you and me?!

This new officer gets it! I was a police officer in the east San Francisco bay area and later in la Mesa CA located in San Diego county CA. Before that a Marine Corps military police. I always told people you are in protective custody and asked if they would put hands behind their back. At the station I would advise them they're also under arrest. Just like I would want to be treated if I was in the same situation they're in. At times with a armed robbery suspect it was at a higher level but de-escalate after in cuffs and in a patrol vehicle. Police have difficult job.

The worse thing you can do is refer to a new officer as rookie. As a FTO I always told the new officer training with me we are equal same exact uniform, same boss, same people sign our paycheck and this car belongs to the city/county. I need you and you need me, observe what I'm doing and I'll observe what your doing, and relax around me being tense intensifies the fear. If you don't know something ask, if I don't know we will find out together. Some people get off on titles, what happens in that car between two officers stays in that car. I never liked snitches or complainers.

I have a daughter who started speaking at the age of 3, she told me out of the blue she wants to be a police officer. Not a day goes by that she doesn’t bring it up. She’s almost 4 now. I am happy that certain people have this great calling. It’s a gift from God.
It’s even in the bible in Romans 13:1-7
“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience”

That's awesome! I wish her the best of luck should she choose to pursue it once she comes of age. I think it's probably one of the toughest professions one can take on in this day n age... But very commendable and highly rewarding. I think about doing it sometimes but I want to explore my options a bit more. 😅 definitely not an easy decision though.
