Mnet released a video which is kind of a teaser for the sports activity of the next show, and we can see that jay was placed in “Over Me”. But that can change because if there are too many surviving trainees in this group they will have to remove some so it's not 100% sure yet but I doubt the other contestants want to remove Jay from this song since 'he would be amazing in it and could make them win
I also do think Hui’s spot in the top 9 is shaky, because of how drastic the changes are in rankings everytime, and the fact that he dropped out once is a concern alr
People are gonna be mad at me but I think Jiwoong has decent stage prensence but in terms of skills he shouldn't have such high ranking. He always wears revealing clothes in all of his performances which I think attracts lots of fans

I vote for Jay everyday since the beginning of the show and when I see the teaser of the artist song mission I am frustrated. We know that Jay is a strong vocalist, he knows that too. We also know that the killing part fitted more with his vocals, and he knows that too (that’s why he sang that part on the voting period of the song) But I am frustrated, he lowered his hand at the end, he didn’t want to impose himself in this battle. And I am afraid, the trainee most voted will be the one with the killing part (line distribution problems) Compared to the 1-3 ep of the show, I cannot see the Jay’s charm (full with confidence)in the other mission. hmmm taerae instead of gyuvin, i can definitely see it. gyuvin won the most votes in love killa but was barely shown on screen. i feel kinda bad for him. he reminds me of mingyu from seventeen haha. and tbh i didnt realize taerae was from wakeone!! bc they havent really heavily pushed him but he's super talented and main vocal material and i do like him. he would be a great addition to the final lineup, also since i dont know what mnet wants to do with hui.
i think it's going to be zhang hao, matthew, and maybe keita as the 3G. most likely hanbin, jiwoong, yujin/gyuvin probably taerae, gunwook barely there (aka 10-12) jongwoo, hui, park hanbin (wakeone), maybe jay i didnt think lee daeul would make it in the first few episodes evwn before the editing, but based on previous seasons it actually very well could have happened. i know some viewers are upset that matthew and gunwook are getting favorable screentime, but i dont think people will be upset with hanbin to the point it will affect his ranking. he has SO many people in love with him not matter what he does.

So right now, it is leaning more towards him NOT debuting (which is sad for me cause I think the final lineup would benefit a lot from having him, since he’ll be a great leader and a producer for the group as well has having pipes of steel and a third lung lol) 13. For the 8th one, I think the point is that the producers can excuse Matthew as a G group trainee since he’s culturally and in most sense a Korean trainee. So that way there’s more bandwidth for the producers to push other G-group trainees who are actually ethnically foreign, and say that their group is ‘global’ because they would then have 4 G-group members, when practically keep the number to 3 (as per with Kepler).
Another unpopular (?) opinion I'd like to share: I think Ollie is the Guinn Myah (GP999) of this series.. I only watched GP999 halfway so I might be wrong about this, but judging by how he has been edited, I find it very similar to how Mnet edited Guinn Myah (basically portraying him as the cute maknae) I might be wrong about this, so feel free to correct me / share your opinions about this, but please be respectful! I don't want to start arguments.. :)

It's cool to revisit some of the points made here now after the third mission - ya Seunghwan really delivered on En Garde so much that I kinda can't imagine him elsewhere now lol. I guess I thought that because based on his time in 1THE9, his visuals and vocal tone were so good for bright concepts. And you're right, S Hanbin is definitely not edited to look like someone 'better' than how he actually is (he's really that kind and skilled), but I did have mixed feelings about the amount of coverage he has on the show.

I disagree with the #1 (on the rap part) simply because of Love Killa, Jiwoong's voice was the one who made Gyuvin sound so bland and uninteresting, while Jiwoong had a lot of characteristics in it. Even in instances from previous episode, like when he did his singing part in Mirotic, Jiwoong's voice was strained, and yet, it gave him character that make it work, weirdly enough. #12, I think it is exactly how mnet wants you to see it, simply because it gives them justification to either push Hui to debut or push him away. It gives them leeway to do either. and the #13 as well, don't get me wrong Jay is great and has a lot of character in his voice, but there are instances where his voice didn't work, like Home. He was great, but I don't think he carried the emotion of the song pretty well IMO. Seo Won on the other hand, Mnet literally was so scared of him that they cut his commentary a lot ever since "Very Nice" performance because they don't want him debuting despite how much screen time Seowon get in the 1st/2nd episode.

And we have to remember that the whole team had to lower two "notes" (keys? idk how to call) to be able to sing Home, because everyone was having voice cracks in the practices. Jay wasn't the only one who struggled, and in the end, even though he was sick, he did a great job and didn't get out of tune any moment. He still did his part flawless.

I disagree with the #1 (on the rap part) simply because of Love Killa, Jiwoong's voice was the one who made Gyuvin sound so bland and uninteresting, while Jiwoong had a lot of characteristics in it. Even in instances from previous episode, like when he did his singing part in Mirotic, Jiwoong's voice was strained, and yet, it gave him character that make it work, weirdly enough.
#12, I think it is exactly how mnet wants you to see it, simply because it gives them justification to either push Hui to debut or push him away. It gives them leeway to do either.
and the #13 as well, don't get me wrong Jay is great and has a lot of character in his voice, but there are instances where his voice didn't work, like Home. He was great, but I don't think he carried the emotion of the song pretty well IMO. Seo Won on the other hand, Mnet literally was so scared of him that they cut his commentary a lot ever since "Very Nice" performance because they don't want him debuting despite how much screen time Seowon get in the 1st/2nd episode.
I would like to point out that Jay was sick during Home stage, but mnet choose not to point that out
@@snehaswati Yes... since he was sick, we don't know how much better it could have been if he was feeling well. And we have to remember that the whole team had to lower two "notes" (keys? idk how to call) to be able to sing Home, because everyone was having voice cracks in the practices. Jay wasn't the only one who struggled, and in the end, even though he was sick, he did a great job and didn't get out of tune any moment. He still did his part flawless.
@@snehaswati THAT'S TRUE, I FORGOT! Well, i still think Seowon carrying the whole top 9 on his back was very impressive (and yes, un popular opinion, but i do think Matthew was under performed as well in love Killa)

Mi opinión es que muchos son talentosos y otros tantos aún les falta pulido, mnet ya tiene su grupo formado, esos programas son puro engaños y repeticiones de lo mismo. Las agencias meten manos, y los votos son manipulados, en Corea se dejan llevar más por la apariencia de niños y niñas perfectos. Se actúan como en el script saldrán victoriosos entre comillas, un ídolo jamás mostrar su verdadera cara al público, pues sabe que no será aceptado tal y como es. Una verdadera pena que sigan usando a los chicos y la audiencia de esa manera.
