I have always voted for Park Hanbin (Phanbin) since his blue hair era , and I am kinda satisfied that his rank is getting higher and higher since more more people are recognising his talent. Besides that , I think Kum Junhyeon is hella talented , not just his humour but his dance and rap is also amazing

You lost me there immediately when I heard the 2nd opinion. We will just agree to disagree on that one. Say my name was too one dimensional but the song is cute and the members are definitely good but 2 of the members (Jiwoong & Yujin) didn't quite catch the vibe of the song. On the other hand, En Garde and Over Me all of the members did good, the stage are excellent. I think En Garde and Over Me did the best out of the 5 teams.

I've been voting for Jungwoo alongside Jiwoong and Junhyeon since the beginning. At first it was because of his vibe, he seemed like a nice guy who has a nice sense of humor (his playfulness with Jiwoong played a role) but then I became more attached to him for a variety of reasons. Some of them being his voice, his determination, his maturity and his leadership skills. There are just so many reasons to like him so I hope he will redebut in Bep1er or in another group.

I honestly loved Jongwoo in Switch so much, ever since the group performances (back door) I really wanted him and Kamden to perform together since I thought they’d fill a similar role in the group if one of them debuted but they work together so well and I really liked both Switch and over me the way the ended up being but Jonwgoo would’ve been so good in Love Killa especially since Matthew didn’t suit the concept that well - still love Home Jongwoo though, hearing Home without a deep voice would’ve been disappointing

As for Over Me winning over Say My Name, I think it's because of the vibes. Like, in Over Me, everyone fit the song perfectly and they executed it perfectly. But in Say My Name, the only one who actually fit the concept was Matthew 💀 but anyway, Say My Name just felt too plain, they needed more people who actually fit the song, Matthew can't carry the performance by himself (also I believe that he should've gotten 1st in the team instead of Shanbin because I didn't notice Shanbin the entire performance 💀) But anyway, I think that the top9 is boring without Haruto, and I'll say that to anyone's face. He brings everything to the group: vocals, rap, dance, leadership, center materials, visuals, and humour. He's literally the perfect idol and people are really not voting for him.

No. There were voice cracks during LMR G-group. The person who made the team did a bad job putting up some nugu trainees. If he chose more 4-star trainees, they could have won.

at this point i think, the fact that they prefer nationality and visual over talent is absolutely true, they have made the whole group so homogenous as per talent is considered. infact, the personalities too. they did so many people so wrong. i am not a hater but would subtly say there are people in top 5 who are not as talented as others but it's just they have such a big fanbase that they are literally there for just visuals.

At this point I’m not sure if Matthew will make it into the finals. I don’t know why but I suddenly lost interest in him. Maybe it was mnets evil edit storyline with him or the fact that he hasn’t really stood out in any of the recent groups but he’s not bad. I wouldn’t mind if he made it but there are also others I’d prefer to see in the top 9 like Gunwook, Jungwoo or Ricky (please don’t drag me, it’s just my opinion).

Personally I think that Ollie is a pretty good rapper, he has a unique tone and doesn't sound like every other rapper out there. I think it would be nice to hear something like that once in a while, but I agree that he needs some improvement and the best way to do that is away from the stress of a survival show. I also agree that people have really been sleeping on Park Hanbin, I just realised how much I love him and I really want him to make the top9 over almost any other trainee. I was thinking about the final announcement and my head literally said "ninth place, Park Hanbin" and it showed how happy he was so I hope it comes true. Here would be my ideal top9, unranked: 1. Gyuvin and Yujin are the definition of potential, they just need more time - Yujin is really good considering his age but just rough around the egdes and Gyuvin‘s really good at the basics he just hasn’t really found his own style yet and seems to not enjoy the performances that much and seems to try to be perfect too much (aka he needs to try to enjoy himself on stage more, it’s really obvious once you compare lmr g Haru with lmr k Gyuvin)

I think gyuvin and yujin are extremely talented! I think (international) people just don’t like them because they’re knetz picks. I think more people should ask themselves why ricky is so popular rather than gyuvin or yujin.

ik for a lot of people they actually started liking Ricky a lot more after the over me performance. He finally got a chance to display his amazing vocals and we already knew he could rap and dance. Opinion #11 I absolutely agree. Like I didn’t really pay much attention to him cause of the lack of screen time but suddenly after the star mentor mentioned how handsome he was, it was like he was the main focus.
I agree with most of this. I'll add, I think when it's all over, someone could come in and make a better group out of the left overs than the final group. Shanbin and Zhanghao are talented but the gap in talent between them and some, who look like they won't make it, isn't nearly as big as the gap in vote count suggests. The audience is putting in a fair number of candidates who could really use more training. It wouldn't be that hard to create a better group especially given they're poised to leave out the show's best vocalists and two great rappers. I may watch some of their content now and then because I genuinely like them as people, but I think it's unlikely the group the audience chooses will have the talent to rival the newer groups I'm already following and the other boy groups that will debut this year. Unless they have outstanding music, they're likely to follow in Kep1er's footsteps.
It seems like only one of the four main vocalists will debut and that’s so terrifying also Kamden and Jongwoo need to debut together, I just love how they sounded in Switch, they lowkey remind me of Wonwoo and Mingyu of Seventeen and they’re both way too talented to not be successful
in short i highly disagree what you said about hanbin and zhang hao and tell you most of the trainee in under 30 or 18 are same in talent, one who is best is rap isn't best in dance and one who is good in singing isn't good in dance and same goes to who dance well but lack stage presence so most of the trainee who debuted are good, also jiwoong was an ex kpop so he definitely had experience.gunwook is good dancer who can sing and rap also his stage presence, hao a musical teacher a vocalist who can dance too and had great stage presence. hanbin is a profession dancer but he can sing too and have great stage presence and also there is different between singer and vocalist. sometime it better to not have rapper in group cause some of the group rap suck in kpop, they sang rap for the sake of rapping which is not pleasing to ear.

It is possible to make a group with members who are good in one area, but not in others, especially if you have one or two members who do well in more than one area. I'm not saying they can't make a solid group. I'm saying they have members that need more training (like Taerae who sings well, but struggles with dance) and that they won't be as talented as some of the other 2023 boy groups. SM, HYBE, and JYPE are highly likely to debut groups where noone struggles with dance (I've already seen a new group where everyone is an above average dancer). Mnet does these shows such that viewers become emotionally attached to the members and support the final group--that's not me. I only have so much time and money; if there are other groups that are more talented and have better music, I'll give those groups my views and buy their music, so I really hope Mnet gives ZB1 better music than they've given Kepler.
My Top 9 Picks (very controversial): 1. Jong Woo -- I've liked him from the beginning but he became number 1 for me since back door 2. Zhang Hao -- Don't even need to say anything abut him 3. Sung Han Bin -- Same with Zhang Hao 4. Gun Wook -- His amazing stage presence, skills, and uniqueness definitely add a charm to the debut lineup 5. Keita -- I consider him the best rapper and I love his personality 6. Jun Hyeon -- We need someone like him in the debut group, he's not only really talented but also just super funny and hype 7. Park Han Bin -- He really deserves to debut, so much talent 8. Seung Eon -- I just really like his voice 9. Matthew and Gyu Vin -- I'm kind of tied on these two. They've both fallen under the radar for me. I think Gyu Vin doesn't have a lot of stage presence and Matthew needs to work a little more on his singing and dancing, but they would both be good in the final group. I didn't count anyone who's been eliminated, but if I did I would definitely include Woong Ki and Haruto.
I believe that the top 9 is going to be very... strange. Since it has been reduced to one picks, people will start to prioritise the less popular members that they still really want in the group. Say someone's top three was Sung Hanbin, Jiwoong and Jongwoo, their one pick would most likely be Jongwoo since he'd need the most help to get in the top 9. I wouldn't be very surprised if Sung Hanbin drops out of 1st place because of this.

agreed that ollie is not a good rapper but he weirdly has good stage presence. i felt the same way about mingyu--he was goofy but he could really sell the performance to you. i watched bp after zb1 debuted and yujin has had a lot more opportunities to show us what he can do now that he is a part of the group. i also wouldn't have voted for gyuvin based on what he showed us on bp but imo he's a personality zb1 really needed. he has great chemistry with every member and he's also great on variety shows. ultimately, whether your faves made it or not, you'd have a hard time arguing that the zb1 lineup isn't solid.

I really want Yujin and Gyuvin to debut in a HueYua group in 2-4 years, both of them seem rather chill so they wouldn’t stand out in the current debut line-up but they would if they debuted with the hyper trainees we’ve seen come out of YueHua for the past few years, Yujin being older would make him doing sexier concepts be way less weird and Gyuvin is really good at the basics but he’s just missing individuality whilst performing - training for a bit longer and also with a set team/members who they get to train with for a extended period would be so good for them and make them shine more, I feel like being in Bepler would waste their potential by not letting them develop as performers properly before debuting - also Bepler needs other members than the current top 9, they seem like they’ll be too coherent to a point where it’ll be rather boring

Say my name was too one dimensional but the song is cute and the members are definitely good but 2 of the members (Jiwoong & Yujin) didn't quite catch the vibe of the song. On the other hand, En Garde and Over Me all of the members did good, the stage are excellent. I think En Garde and Over Me did the best out of the 5 teams.

I've been voting for Jungwoo alongside Jiwoong and Junhyeon since the beginning. At first it was because of his vibe, he seemed like a nice guy who has a nice sense of humor (his playfulness with Jiwoong played a role) but then I became more attached to him for a variety of reasons. Personally I think that Ollie is a pretty good rapper, he has a unique tone and doesn't sound like every other rapper out there. I think it would be nice to hear something like that once in a while, but I agree that he needs some improvement and the best way to do that is away from the stress of a survival show. I also agree that people have really been sleeping on Park Hanbin, I just realised how much I love him and I really want him to make the top9 over almost any other trainee. Opinion #11 I absolutely agree. Like I didn’t really pay much attention to him cause of the lack of screen time but suddenly after the star mentor mentioned how handsome he was, it was like he was the main focus.

I agree with most of this. I'll add, I think when it's all over, someone could come in and make a better group out of the left overs than the final group. Shanbin and Zhanghao are talented but the gap in talent between them and some, who look like they won't make it, isn't nearly as big as the gap in vote count suggests. The audience is putting in a fair number of candidates who could really use more training. It wouldn't be that hard to create a better group especially given they're poised to leave out the show's best vocalists and two great rappers. I may watch some of their content now and then because I genuinely like them as people, but I think it's unlikely the group the audience chooses will have the talent to rival the newer groups I'm already following and the other boy groups that will debut this year. Unless they have outstanding music, they're likely to follow in Kep1er's footsteps.

in short i highly disagree what you said about hanbin and zhang hao and tell you most of the trainee in under 30 or 18 are same in talent, one who is best is rap isn't best in dance and one who is good in singing isn't good in dance and same goes to who dance well but lack stage presence so most of the trainee who debuted are good, also jiwoong was an ex kpop so he definitely had experience.gunwook is good dancer who can sing and rap also his stage presence, hao a musical teacher a vocalist who can dance too and had great stage presence. hanbin is a profession dancer but he can sing too and have great stage presence and also there is different between singer and vocalist. sometime it better to not have rapper in group cause some of the group rap suck in kpop, they sang rap for the sake of rapping which is not pleasing to ear.

It is possible to make a group with members who are good in one area, but not in others, especially if you have one or two members who do well in more than one area. I'm not saying they can't make a solid group. I'm saying they have members that need more training (like Taerae who sings well, but struggles with dance) and that they won't be as talented as some of the other 2023 boy groups. SM, HYBE, and JYPE are highly likely to debut groups where noone struggles with dance (I've already seen a new group where everyone is an above average dancer). Mnet does these shows such that viewers become emotionally attached to the members and support the final group--that's not me. I only have so much time and money; if there are other groups that are more talented and have better music, I'll give those groups my views and buy their music, so I really hope Mnet gives ZB1 better music than they've given Kepler.

I believe that the top 9 is going to be very... strange. Since it has been reduced to one picks, people will start to prioritise the less popular members that they still really want in the group. Say someone's top three was Sung Hanbin, Jiwoong and Jongwoo, their one pick would most likely be Jongwoo since he'd need the most help to get in the top 9. I wouldn't be very surprised if Sung Hanbin drops out of 1st place because of this.

1. Never voted for yujin but he is good and I get the hype. Gyuvin on the other hand makes me side eye because I have no clue how he got first multiple times.
2. Over me was the best you drunk. Say my name was middle ground its just more popular trainees but they def werent the best stage.

11. honestly SAME, i genuinely knew nothing about him. but from episode 10 and forward, i think they’re gonna try to push him more to public therefore more people will start to vote for them. i think they purposely gave him screen time last episode so he could kinda “stick out more”? IDK IF THIS MAKES SENSE BUT IN MY MIND IT DOES😭

Bak Doha has a decent voice in lower parts (God forbid he sings anything high) and good visuals but that man cant dance. I think maybe its fair enough to say he could have lasted as long as Takuto but def not to the finals.

3. I was so upset to when Wumuti was eliminated. Good to see he’s still out here living his best life (his Antifragile cover drops this Saturday which you should check out btw ;) Also please tell me why mnet decide to all of a sudden give this man more screen time now that he’s off the show?
5. I was so impressed with zoom and love me right g group (love me right g group for sure should’ve won) but my most favorite performance this whole show has to be kill this love g group. They killed it (no pun intend)!

I don’t vote just for looks, and I never have 😭. I love his voice, his stage presence, facial expressions, the fact that he’s an ace. His personality made me do a double take because he looks so intimidating but is such a genuine, shy, sweet and funny guy. He has the it factor and I really think that’s why people vote for him (and ofc there are some who vote for visuals but not all Riyangis are like that)!

21. Hui Stan’s don’t come for me but, I think he shouldn’t debut in Bep1er. Now, before anyone says anything, i acknowledge that he’s super talented but I agree with that part that others are just prioritizing other trainees. I would rather see someone like Keita who, even though he has debuted before never even made a name for himself. I know cube sucks but at least people still know of him, he definitely gained more recognition after being on boys planet.

I really want Yujin and Gyuvin to debut in a HueYua group in 2-4 years, both of them seem rather chill so they wouldn’t stand out in the current debut line-up but they would if they debuted with the hyper trainees we’ve seen come out of YueHua for the past few years, Yujin being older would make him doing sexier concepts be way less weird and Gyuvin is really good at the basics but he’s just missing individuality whilst performing - training for a bit longer and also with a set team/members who they get to train with for a extended period would be so good for them and make them shine more, I feel like being in Bepler would waste their potential by not letting them develop as performers properly before debuting - also Bepler needs other members than the current top 9, they seem like they’ll be too coherent to a point where it’ll be rather boring
