Thats what I'm talking bout!! My Black brothers are united, educated, and gifted! I miss these days when they were able to get together, even through song and send a great message! I think for awhile what has been glorified has made the image of my black brothers decline. But its things like this that reminds me we have in us to do and be for what's right for our communities! You will know!! #hail2da90s

"When I was a young boy
    I had visions of fame
They were wild and they were free
They were blessed with my name
    And then I grew older
And I saw what's to see
That the world is full of pain
And my dreams they left me
    And then I got stronger
    And tired of the pain
That's when I picked up the pieces
    And I regained my name
    And I fought hard, y'all
    To carve out my place
And right now you look at me
And it all seems in vain
    Your dreams ain't easy
You just stick by your plan
    Go from boys to men
You must act like a man
    When it gets hard, y'all
You just grab what you know
STAND UP TALL AND DON'T YOU FALL"
Thanks D'Angelo for these amazing lyrics that all black men to include yourself must come to know (You Will Know)
Be Blessed Brothers' and Keep Fighting!

    "YOU WILL KNOW"
    Black Men United
    Produced by: Brian McKnight
    Written by: D'Angelo
    On the Polygram Record Label
This is just one of the best ever songs.
It makes me nearly cry tears of joy when I hear it.
Everyone did such an amazing job.
It's hard to believe that on July 23rd 2018 this song was 24 years old.
It would be so nice if they did a #Revival of this song to at least honor the contributions made by the brothers that have gone Home.
    Lift a brother up!
Give him a reason to be a better man!!!
If you're not part of the solution, you're just part of the problem!
Just think about this: If black men really did #Unite, cemeteries & prisons would be half empty!
    #BlackLivesWillAlwaysMatter
Thank you for sharing you gifts.

people talking about Suffering through Chris Brown's, voice Chris, can sing his Ass off, not to mention he's one of the very few R&B singers that's always showing respect to the greater one's before him. in fact Usher and Chris, are the best calab out there of today..... Chris, has respect for Boy's To Men, Usher he looks Up to those guys.... this song has a message to bad a lot black men missed the message.... always taring down and being negative....

Sadly there aren't enough great or even good singers in RnB to perform a song like this. We'd have to suffer through Chris Brown or Bryson Tiller.

We have Tank, Joe (STILL) Tyrese, Uncle Charlie, Brian McKnight(still) Usher has greatly improved since this video, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Miguel, Frank Ocean, Raphael Saadiq, and quite a few more, but I don’t think most of their egos would allow for a moment like this again.
