Those stupid sloped door windows on the F150 is a deal breaker at 100% for me and a lot of people I know that's why I bought a Silverado and a Colorado trailboss
Guys but trucks (especially having 10+ seconds 0-60) are never bought for speed.. and you NEVER launch a vehicle like that. If ANYTHING, you start quick from a red light, just pressing the acceleration pedal. So these test are not really useful. Roling race - ok, this is good. But the trucks are for towing, and carrying loads on a difficult terrain. You could test them in a more natural environment - which would also be way cooler to watch :) So bad roads with no tarmac, wet and with quite some load. And the test should include an accelerometer inside the cabin, as being thrown around like in a tractor is no fun at all. Thanks to BYD our wester car companies will finally be forced to work on the suspension - thankfully!
You think it’s a surprise that the 150 is faster. Ford will never allow a lower range vehicle to be faster than a higher range vehicle. Just like what Chevy did with the corvette and the Camaro

Ywandre yelling shift won’t make the truck go faster. Actually if it did shift it would bog being in too high a gear. Does he not realize that vehicles down shift to accelerate when the peddle is floored?
At $110k loaded, that f150 best come with divorce papers.
That's the cost of the Raptor R.

He said the topped out f150 Raptor was 111k. No?
@@bubcat54yes, but he meant the topped of raptor=raptor r
@@tengouniformcharliekilo1941
I was talking about the f150 Raptor. That's what this video is about.
@@bubcat54 the Raptor R is still a Raptor. The 3.5L Raptor tops out at $98k with every single available option, including stupid things like the ash tray and cargo net.
I'm impressed that they running Mustang &Camaro Quarter miles
Ranger has 406 cv and f150 720 cv?I would go Ranger because the performance is very similar.
Hi amazing videos guys, and I have a question can you guys do a 2024 vs v8 tundra trd pros race? Thx.
I would like to see a tuned ranger raptor vs stock f150 raptor
Andre should have put it in 4wheel auto, he also has the 430# torque like mine, I’ve done 0 to 60 in high 6s, he got a horrible start!
Now repeat this drag race with the new tune!
wheres the cooled seats hood supports soft tailgate
I still can’t believe how slow a 100k truck is. These things need like 1000hp to be any fun
Is premium fuel “required” on the Ranger Raptor, or just recommended for optimum performance?
It's optimum. Can still run on regular according to another review
87 is the min required
Surprised the time different wasn't bigger for the Ranger raptor vs standard Ranger
What’s the top speed on the Ranger Raptor? Maybe it was about to hit the speed limiter on the roll race. F150 Raptor has a speed limiter of 11? Mph.
Nice runs. I would go with a Ranger Raptor. It’s the most truck I need anyways. I have a Jeep Gladiator. The only thing I don’t like is that’s it’s a dog. But nice seeing this smaller trucks getting some love finally.
Ranger Raptor is goved at 113 I believe
Ranger put up a good fight considering its only advantages were weight and I guess aerodynamics.
DETUNED? I think Ford detuned the Ranger Raptor on purpose! If it had the same horse power as the Bronco, it would be as fast as the F-150 Raptor.
I don’t think so it’s only another 13hp and 10tq so not a big difference
The drag racing is fun to watch but I would love to see the human variable taken out and stick that colorado, ranger, and ranger raptor on a dyno back to back to see what the actual numbers are at the wheels.
That ranger Raptor should have a 4.0 liter V8. I'd buy that over a 3.0 liter V6. I need some kind of V8 sound .
How many miles does the Ranger Raptor have on it vs. the F150 and what other mods does the f150 have - exhaust intake, tuning. To me the 37's are heavier and more rolling resistance, did you try the Ranger Raptor in Baja mode - faster accel in an Aussie test. How did you break in the Ranger R. engine?
No replacement for displacement as they say even if v6s
The Ranger Raptor just needs a couple upgrades to get it to 500hp and it will be perfect.
i love my ranger raptor i have a 23 f350 limited drw a 24 ranger xlt a 24 bronco badlands and the 24 ranger raptor and the raptor is my favorite
also A 22 maverick lariat
Cool race, I thought the Ranger would have done better.
But how does the ranger raptor do against your raptor r? I think it’s got a chance
Need to compare hp/lb ratio on all vehicles
Put the ranger into sport mode. different race
Much better then the ranger edge
Those stupid sloped door windows on the F150 is a deal breaker at 100% for me and a lot of people I know that's why I bought a Silverado and a Colorado trailboss
Why?
big brother races little brother. Nice!
Too bad all the dealers near me all want markups ranging from $7,500 to $15k for the Ranger Raptor.
You could test them in a more natural environment - which would also be way cooler to watch :)
So bad roads with no tarmac, wet and with quite some load. And the test should include an accelerometer inside the cabin, as being thrown around like in a tractor is no fun at all. Thanks to BYD our wester car companies will finally be forced to work on the suspension - thankfully!
And for the reference there should be a something like toyota rav4 or so to compare to “usual” cars.
Only then these cars can shine well
You think it’s a surprise that the 150 is faster. Ford will never allow a lower range vehicle to be faster than a higher range vehicle. Just like what Chevy did with the corvette and the Camaro
Not a Ford Person…..however I like the Ranger Raptor
