You are blind. The taco was never class leading ever. When has it ever been about numbers? The only number that matters is sales. And its not even close tacoma>the rest
Given how the Ranger took off like a scalded cat with the 2.3L, the 2.7L V6 is bound to be beyond ridiculous in it! I think the Nissan and Honda V6's were quite impressive!
Fun video. So round one goes to the Ranger. Can't wait for the rest of the competition. Also later this yeas it will be nice to how the 2.7 TT Ranger does along with the Raptor? Lots more power on tap.
Great job TFL crew.
Great video! Looking forward to round two. I wonder how my Maverick, with the eco boost engine, would have done in this test.
That was a fun video! It’d be cool to do the same race at sea level & see the difference.
Yes I’m surprised it was so close. Turbos really help at higher elevations.
The Nissan or Honda would win.
@@RockCh4lk< But they didn’t.
@@RockCh4lk Maybe…but that’s why I’d like to actually see it.
Just drove my new 2020 bought ago thru the rockies. It ate up snow, rain and hills. Love it.
I would still buy the Nissan frontier over all of those because of the naturally aspirated v6
I'll be driving my 2022 Nissan many more miles than the turbos. 😊
Vq powa
As a former Nissan owner...no you won't.
@@RockCh4lk
This is very likely true.
Been looking forward to the midsize truck videos! Keep em coming!!!
More to come!
It’s kind of sad that the Ridgeline exhaust sounds the best of all the new ones. They all sound like ricers. Miss those V8 Dakotas and that sound.
Those V6 engines for me are the best out there, natural aspirated with out turbos and other stuff, they are reliable and easy to work on.
This will boost ford ranger sales
Lol who buys one of these types of trucks because its the fastest? Lol no 13 years olds r buying any of these
@@ryerse12345 no one want a slow truck
@@duytienpham9190id argue that none of these trucks are slow, nor any modern pickup for that matter.
@@duytienpham9190 that extra second in a quarter mile isnt going to feel like much in either of these
@@ALMX5DPyota is awfully slow for being twin turbo'd. They're a disappointment every single one of their vehicles
Thank y’all for handling all the logistics to make this video happen!!
Already knew the ranger was the fastest
This idea is so cool! So happy for TFL actually can make this idea happened.
Ranger didn’t even show it’s final form. The 2.7 Ecoboost will be available soon to drop the hammer down.
Spectacular. Fun and entertaining to watch. Well produced.
The 2.7 ranger will definitely own them all except maybe the raptor
The raptor is the one that’ll have the 2.7.
@@JonBecker81 No, the Raptor gets the 3.0 EB. The 2.7 EB will be available in XLT and Lariat Ranger
@@BC08 oh ok.
@@JonBecker81 It confused me too, they haven't started building the 2.7 rangers yet and you can't spec one on their build website yet!
@@rifleslol They aren’t available yet, later this year
I enjoyed the clip guys, good work. The Dakota makes me think of my 2002 Dakota club cab4x4 with the 4.7 liter. That truck had good acceleration.
Now bring out the 3/4 or 1 ton gassers!
Toyota Taco....too funny
You made my day!
I own a 22 Ranger XLT and that 2.3T is prety quick especially since it has the lightest curb wieght hightest payload capacity in this segment.
21 Lariat FX4. It’s quick and the economy is good. Love it!
@@awesomexistence my dad gets 24-28 mpg on the highway with his '21 Ranger 4wd depending on conditions. Winter about 80 mph gets at the lower end. Nice summer day without wind has gotten 28.
