I have the white dial Bambino. Personally, I think the strap is OK, maybe a bit stiff but it becomes more flexible in after a few wears. Otherwise, Orient is for me is a great discovery, hey ...an automatic with great retro design for that price! Many reviewers testify that it is built to last and will go many years before service is needed. So in cost per year, you do much better than with a famous brand luxury automatic watch that costs 000’s and does not look better and often the movement is also not usually that much better.
This is an old review, but I'll still comment. I decided to dress this watch UP with a dark brown, hand made shell cordovan strap from Delug's. As I have a number of Bambinos, I swap in the dressy straps as needed. It's just lovely. Yes, the strap cost about $110, but it can be used on multiple watches and will last a lifetime.
@@Ferien7 orients dont look cheap at all. for 100 bucks you cant expect more. rather they deliver more than you expect, straps and lug width i can least give a crap about. yes they are large but once in a while its fine to wear something big. its not douchie big as diesel or fashion watches that most dudes you see. its worth your every penny. IMO
Orient bambino is my dress watch. Vostok Amphibia is my daily wearer. I have a 35 mm cased Pobeda vintage Russian watch. I only buy old Russian watches now. I am bidding on a 1939 Kirovskie watch at $99. Fingers crossed
Got mine from MassDrop in Cream. Changed the band to a light brown Horween vintage leather strap with blue stitching to match the hands. Great look for casual wear.
LordTannet1 got it from Matt Crowder - Jack Foster Custom Watch Straps in NC. Google him. If you have trouble finding him let me know and I’ll try to find his card. Good luck !
You said you've always been curious about this one, so you can't really say it was impromptu. Impromptu would be walking past and seeing it in a window for the first time & then purchasing it. Anyway, I like your review & the strap. I don't think it looks too big on you as well.
Dude, great video...I totally pulled the trigger on this watch from L.I. Watch for $119 plus 5% off! I also got the strap you suggested too. Thanks for the video.
Hey man, any chance you could tell me the size of your wrist? I'm considering buying the bambino for myself, but as you, I have kind of small wrists. Seeing it on you made me realise the watch may be too big for my liking. Thanks in advance - and the strap you bought looks amazing with the watch :)
Some Folger's instant coffee would have been fitting for how teachers are underpaid in the US. Nice strap choice! I do agree that a smaller size would better suited for a dress watch.
I have the exact watch. For some reason this watch only gains 4 to 7 seconds per day.I have supposedly better watches that are not nearly as accurate. The strap takes a month or better to break in.
Why any bandwidth devoted to boring unboxing. A waste of time. Another pet peeve, dials with small date windows. If you need to know what day it is you've got bigger problems in your life...and that tiny date window is a design flaw, IMO.
Sorry, this is not like your Daniel Wellington, MVMT, 5th or whatever crap that you wear. This is a real mechanical watch. No batteries here. It is not a disposable watch.

you just can't go wrong with an orient
chikpom you can, actually. Too large, terrible strap, odd lug width, cheap looking...you can go very wrong with the bambino
I never cared about straps when buying a watch. Theres a lot of aftermarket straps to choose from. Even for a 21mm
I would never buy a Orient cheap watches for the Money a Orient kosts you can get a tissot a swatch a Citizen or else

Intro was classic.

Just got my Bambino 2. You guys are right the strap sucks!! I’m gonna change it to something like this.
Very nice leather strap!
great vid! love the combo...been looking for way to dress down this particular watch:)
Beautiful watch.
Sick watch and perfect combo! Congrats!!!
Dude, great video...I totally pulled the trigger on this watch from L.I. Watch for $119 plus 5% off! I also got the strap you suggested too. Thanks for the video.
Cool channel man, subscribed. Ordered a cream 2nd gen bambino as I stumbled upon this vid
Ratfish09 thank you! enjoy the watch!!
so smart and classy watch
That strap and this watch now must be mine.
What is the size of your wrist?
Did you sell the vintage watch haha? 4 years later?
A 38mm version of this watch would dominate the market
I can’t find that strap or anything like it 21 m, if someone can recommend please let me know
Love that watch and you put the perfect strap on it

Have you got it yet ?
Bought same today! Thanks
May I please know which folding knife you were using in this video?
Uhm... you should do a better job of hiding your address, it's completely visible on that first package.
What color strap is this
I love this watch style and make. All sites show out-of-stock :( . If anyone find a link please provide me. Thanks.
how big is your wrist?
I'll take it if you don't want it.
I want to buy this... Awesome
I wish they had a cream dial with a gold or rose gold case. But so far I can't find a single one.
AnthonyMazzarella they already have of this version.
just found your channelgreat review of the Orientmine is being shipped now from long island!!Is that a Dassari strap?
It is! Link to the precise model in the description box. Enjoy your Orient :)
You need a 38 mm no larger may be a 37 mm would be perfect for your wrist.
Hi the strao combo is a reeeeally good choice! may i know your wrist size for reference? Thanks
A little under 6.5"
Is your Intro inspired by Urban Centry?

I live a few thousand miles away rip
Man imagine this watch with chamfered bezels and a cyclops. Hahhaah
Great video
do you have a reference number for the band? Thanks
B scott check the video description for a link
Saw it after I asked. Sorry. Just ordered. Great vid.
Yr nbr ‘4’ is a lie !!
You can still flip nbr ‘6’ !!
Was’salam
The watch is too dressy for that strap
I have to disagree. It's the perfect strap to dress it down, yet still keeping its vintage looks. Stunning!

you do realize that the roman numeral is all jacked up. It makes the watch look cheap.
It's actually traditional for watch makers to use IIII instead of IV
too long.....plus the new strap destroyed that watch. Took it from classy to trashy IMO...........
Jim S - I think it dressed the watch down for everyday school use. He can switch back to the croc. for dances and graduation.
Shut up, it looks awesome.
A cheap $3 watch
Then go and enjoy your "gangsta" smartwatch which has pokemon ap included
