You also know that Jones went through 11 lawyers who all quit one after the other because he was a horrible client who refused to cooperate with them by again showing up at hearings or providing court ordered discovery right?
So, the jury were the ones who found against him, his 11 prior lawyers were the ones quit on him because he wouldn't work with them, and ultimately he was the one who screwed himself by refusing to treat the trial seriously by obeying basic orders, but you think it was the judge who is responsible for this?

There is a real and lucrative business behind conspiracies, alternative news, disinformation and fake news---Faux "news", Tfcuker Curse0n, AJ, Joe R0 gen and all the other media paragons of the right are testament to this money...
There is NO WAY Alex Jones pocketed all that money to himself, he must have "quiet" investors---he declined to participate in court mandated discovery, to protect whomever he shared that bountiful loot with, and they to are also liable pursuant to the punitive compensations to the victims...
The IRS will most certainly be following this court proceedings---and those phone data records are treasure trove to the victim(s) and many federal and state financial reporting agencies.
I just do not see how AJ will evade a criminal charge somewhere down the line...

But the most outrageous part is that opposing council said upon receipt “Hey this is a ton of information we didn’t ask for,” and the attorney just said “oh hey yeah don’t use that please.” Didn’t file for anything, just literally made an off the record side bar email saying “Sorry pls don’t look.” They had over a year to do something about it and they never did. It is shameful that the parents didn't know they.. the parents were obviously being manipulated And Alex was not even ALLOWED to tell the jury that he had apologized years ago!!! I think Alex will win his case will win in appeal. On top of all that.. we do have free speech in this country. Defamation is so hard to win because we also have free speech in this country. You have to prove that the people being "defamed" were genuinely hurt by your words.. not that you just "didn't like them".. the parents literally didn't even know he'd said these things until years later. AND he barely talked about it. AND they didn't knwo he recanted and apologized already. The parents literally thought he was still saying it didn't happen as recently as laslt week.
