I needed this. I am 26 years old and since I was 20 I've been jumping from one idea to another. I want to start an SEO agency but again I've been on and off with it, not really compounding consistency. This video has given me the motivation to finish my website, write more and properly learn SEO so I can offer my services with my agency. Thanks Tim
That's awesome! Knowing that at least one person in their early to mid-twenties got value from this video makes creating it worth the effort. I wish you the best of luck on your journey. Stay focused (I know it's super hard) and you'll get so much further than you think possible.
Thank you for this video. Ohh boy I needed to hear this. I am 32 and I am just getting my ish together and I already have tons of regrets. It’s funny how I asked myself to write my 15 year old self a letter and in that letter I stated “put yourself first “ stop giving a fudge about others who doesn’t even care for themselves. You can’t save ppl who doesn’t want to be saved. I told my 15 year old self that this morning and look your video popped up. Now I am focusing on my company and I’m feeling so much better now knowing that I am really build this dream, I am chasing it, I am developing and building it, exactly how I’ve envisioned it as age 15.
Hey Tim. I'm glad to see you're okay. Watching your videos were a highlight of my week and, as I typically do, think the worst when someone disappears. It's funny you mention fear because I have lived in that same fear for decades myself. I'm ten years your minor but feel that I've missed out on many things for various reasons, including fear, procrastination, and in some cases, just plain arrogance. I have the stacked experience which makes me feel that I've at least done that right. But, man, that impostor syndrome still gets me. I digress. I'm glad you're back, and the video is the perfect message I needed to hear. All the best and I look forward to seeing more.
That Focus vs FOMO is real. I wasted a little money on basketball cards and crypto and I won't anymore. I can focus on my businesses/rentals, and generate those gains seen in other investments easier and more consistently.
Happy belayed orbit day Tim. 50 makes you wiser. Good to see and hear from you again. Contractor Dynamics looks like it’s crushing it with the new biz model. Nice work.
This is about the best advice I've heard for entrepreneurs in the endless sea of empty B.S. out there. Stacking skills is something I'm still learning how to approach in my (late) thirties. Now that I'm quitting my job to go freelance, it really makes sense. I'm trying to wrap my head around how to stack my skills of 20 years as a chef with going into copywriting/content writing. I also have a lot of creative skills (music and art skills) that seem totally unrelated, so it's quite overwhelming to figure out how to make the most of my experience while I learn new stuff and market myself. Would love to hear more about how to figure out who your target prospects should be in these confusing (but exciting) early stages of entrepreneurship.
My advice for those getting their start is to get as much experience as possible, at least for the first year or two. Then to focus in one direction. The exception to this is when they already possess significant domain knowledge in a specialty, industry or platform. Then the choice as to where to focus becomes simple. Hopefully, you have been gaining experience in copywriting/content writing while still employed. Or if you quit without significant experience I hope you have a minimum of 6 months savings and preferably a year.
Another great video!! Tim, it's so great to have you back. Life happens, and you mentioned you moved states, so settling into a new state, area, home, and getting back into a routine can take time. But it looks like it paid off. You look rested and, no doubt - energized, inspired and ready to share and teach. I m 53 next month and can relate to what you shared. Thank you for having the courage to push past your fear. It just goes to show you that it doesn't matter who you are or the level of expertise you have - we all second guess ourselves. There are times when we allow fear to get the best of us. The key is having the courage to push through it.
Great work! I'm just getting started. I was doing digital marketing but everyone loved my websites I made but I always thought they weren't that good and was afraid to dive into it. Here I am setting time each day till have a strong grasp on everything the marketing just seems to compliment it.
Finally, Tim is back! Your come back video was well worth the wait! We missed you! By the way, your FB group and the information you give there is amazing.
dude, I missed you! but your YT skills are not worse than they were before and what you say is always pure gold. plus, the set up is indeed dope xD keep it up, Tim!
Tim, Thank you for putting this video out. I know how that fear feels because I’m currently living with it now about so many things. Watching a video like this is just what I needed. I’m a 21 year old currently building out an email + paid social marketing agency and would love to connect sometime. Keep up the great work!
Great to see you back! Honestly, it doesn’t look like you missed a single best. The message was inspiring, the new set looks amazing, and the intro made my wife laugh out loud. Great showing after your hiatus. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing more.
Thanks Mboso. You should have seen the BTS. It was a disaster getting this video out. I literally had to film the entire thing 3 times with a couple of scene reshoots.
Miles and I have known each other since the summer of 2015. We met in Barcelona where I was speaking at a digital nomad conference put on by a community I’m a part of called the Dynamite Circle. The DC is owned by my friends Dan and Ian of the TropicalMBA. Then a few months later I ran into Miles & Melanie in Chiangmai where I was a guest instructor for another program they were attending. We ate a ton of vegan Thai food together and talked a lot about direct response marketing. That’s the short version.
Just saw your channel today. Man, you put so much energy to your videos. It's great content. This video feels to me like my father is giving me life advice :D. Thank you so much for this. This channel is gonna grow a lot. :))
I finally overcame my fear of selling digital marketing to my MMA coach. Honestly it sold itself and he said he definitely wants this because he doesn't have enough time to do it himself. I'm writing up the proposals now. Lol wish I did this 3 months ago.
Is there a way to stop these masterclass ads before, during and after the video? And no, not everything in life is a negotiation. Croosing the street is NOT a negotiation.
I wish the scammy gurus wouldn’t advertise on my channel, but I can’t stop what ads you see. As for having ads, the small amount of money that comes it goes directly to paying a portion of my video editor’s salary.

If only focus was something easy for 15 year olds. 😀 Good luck on your journey.

I’m glad this video provided some inspiration. Thanks for watching the return.

Five years of focus is required to start seeing the compounding gains needed to succeed in business.
Thank you for being back, sir! 💪
Thank you too for coming back to watch.
You old geezer... I’m glad you’re back!
Who YOU calling old? 🤣 It’s good to be back. I hope you’re doing well, brother.
Thank you Tim,
I am glad to see this. I am 25 years old now.
Wow, would not have guessed you're 50! Great lessons in here.
Haha…thanks.
Great to see you back Tim. Never mind trying to be perfect, just be awesome, and that you are!
Thanks. I’ve always had a perfection streak. It drives my wife nuts.
Happy belayed orbit day Tim. 50 makes you wiser. Good to see and hear from you again. Contractor Dynamics looks like it’s crushing it with the new biz model. Nice work.
Haha...I don’t know about wiser. Wise-ass maybe.

Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate you watching.
"Dont forget to do ALL the socials" for those new to the channel.
Haha... I need new catch phrases for the new direction for the channel. Thanks for watching.
Great work! I'm just getting started. I was doing digital marketing but everyone loved my websites I made but I always thought they weren't that good and was afraid to dive into it. Here I am setting time each day till have a strong grasp on everything the marketing just seems to compliment it.
Go for it! Dive into the hard (and boring) parts of your work and you'll master your site design and marketing. Thanks for watching.
Finally, Tim is back! Your come back video was well worth the wait!
We missed you!
By the way, your FB group and the information you give there is amazing.
Thanks. It’s been fun to be back. I’ve got to get my tech sorted so I can make the FB group even more educational. Frickin’ iPad and bandwidth. 😡
Welcome back, Tim! You've been missed! Love the comeback video and cannot wait to see what's to come!
Thanks for the welcome and I'm happy you liked the comeback vid.
dude, I missed you! but your YT skills are not worse than they were before and what you say is always pure gold. plus, the set up is indeed dope xD keep it up, Tim!
You’re too kind. You should have seen how long it took for me to get useable footage for Pedro to edit. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Tim,
Thank you for putting this video out. I know how that fear feels because I’m currently living with it now about so many things.
Watching a video like this is just what I needed. I’m a 21 year old currently building out an email + paid social marketing agency and would love to connect sometime.
Keep up the great work!
Good luck on your journey. Don't let the fear stop you. Feel it, release it and then keep moving.

Digging the studio
It's even better in next week's video.
Killer advice Tim thanks man! Appreciate the focus 🙌
Thanks.
Tim , I've always wondered where or how did Miles and yourself first become acquainted. It's just one of those things that always interested me..
Miles and I have known each other since the summer of 2015. We met in Barcelona where I was speaking at a digital nomad conference put on by a community I’m a part of called the Dynamite Circle. Never do that again Tim. We missed you. ;-)

Thank you for the wonderful compliment. It's the best one I've ever received on YT. And thanks for watching. I hope you get a lot of value.

I finally overcame my fear of selling digital marketing to my MMA coach. Honestly it sold itself and he said he definitely wants this because he doesn't have enough time to do it himself. I'm writing up the proposals now. Lol wish I did this 3 months ago.
But you've done it now. Just stay committed to doing it over and over to develop consistency and improve your business skills.
YES! Tim's Back! :D
Took me awhile. Got another coming out Tuesday.
Dude keep doing youtube videos, your vids valuable!
Hey Tim! Where have you been? Welcome back!
Words of wisdom for the young, well said...
I've had a combination of working really hard plus procrastinating making YT videos. Thanks for welcoming me back.
@@TimConley Nice to see you back...
Where are you at!
Coming back to RUclips in a month. Took a year off of content creation to go deep into my expertise.
