I have just bought the 5d manual. I have no complaints about performance at all and my average is around 6.5L/100km. I am over the moon , not to mention it ability off-road which is brilliant
I adore jimnies but I can't help thinking it's too much money for the lack of power and especially torque. Easy around town, lovely when you get to your destination. Downright horrible getting there though. Loaded with luggage for two on a long trip at max 100km/h...... let's just say frustrating.
I guess choosing this car comes down to taste mostly. I recently bought it (even more pricey in my country) and I'm still yet to find a flaw that actually makes it a car I wouldn't like to drive on daily basis. Yes I understand all the reasons that makes it not the best choice, I see why it can be frustrating yet when it comes to deliver what it has to offer for me it does it so flawlessly that I just forget all its shortcomings... and of course it makes me laugh so much. Maybe like a saying we have here "your boyfriend may be ugly but if he makes you laugh you'll marry that guy"
couple of benefits of the 3 door vs 5 door in town - you can park it in spaces that very few others can use, it uses under 7l per 100km (manual). Its not a performance car, its a small car with great off-road ability that you can buy new in manual from a dealer & doesn't have all the needless tech that makes other modern cars so heavy and expensive/difficult to repair. I might get a 5 door in addition to my 3 door - that way I can turbo my 3 door (IMO will be better than my old manual Pajero evo) and put off-road kit on my 5 door.
Love this guy. His reviews are great. He highlights all the right things and still keeps it entertaining which is awesome compared to some of the other people doing this. Keep it up champ!!!
Eish the jimny really I love it😂🎉 But maybe what Suzuki must do is take the engine in the Suzuki swift sport put it in here tweak torque little change wheels then you have something good and powerful 😂
The engine is fine when NOT mated to the Auto box IMO - I enjoy driving it (sold a JDM honda civic shuttle beagle and a NC mx5 & replaced with my Jimny 3 door)
If Suzuki slap a turbo on this 4-door Jimny then this engine going to make more power then now because this engine is good for the 2-door Jimmy because it is not happy but this four-door is more heavy so slap the turbo on it Suzuki what are you doing
its not a performance vehicle - generally all cars of a similar price cant even keep up with 20 year old 600cc bike (that means you cant buy new and go fast for this price IMO).

I have the Gran Vitara with the same engine and power is no problem,5,3L per km on opennroad
I think the Auto uses a LOT more fuel than a carefully driven Manual.
i love my 2023 3-door jimny light/lcv. back to the roots!!
I'd literally buy this car because it's cute. Just buying it for aesthetics!
love that you wear a Casio. I have the car and the watch. nice and simple
The perfect combo!
I hv just paid for one here in Zambia. I look forward to driving fun.

I’ve got a two door with some upgrades and it’s definitely too much money for what you get, but it’s unique and fun.
I get where you’re coming from

I love this video he is a very good driver as he stops at stop signs so I trust this video!

Thank you so much! I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the reviews ❤️
R628K?? I went to a dealership and got a quote on a 5 door GLX auto for 465k...
Thanks!
Such an awesome surprise! Thank you 🙏🏼
See it, accept it, move on 😂😂😂
It’s the Jimny way 😂

I would buy another new one if Suzuki put the swift sport power plant in it from factory.
Turkey?
R100k too expensive. The 2 door still look best.
The 2 door shape and proportions are 🔥
For the amount of money you pay for a jimny, the lack of features and safety it offers is not just something you look at, accept and move on
Love the Jimny. Hate the engine and auto gearbox.
What do you love about it if the engine and gearbox make up most of its character?

But a Toyota 2.0 natural aspirated engine 🫢
With its pissy little engin?

Too basic for silly money
Very difficult to get a basic car these days - Avoiding needless tech is worth money to me
