How is it, for a far smaller car the suzuki Dzire which is something like half the price of this 5 door model has aircon vents for the rear? I am 100 percent sure that Suzuki's profit margins is far from any danger of sinking into the red had they added a pair of rear a/c vents for this 5 door model ( priced high to present itself as a contender for the very crowded market of the day to day family hauler). The addition of a pair of rear a/c vents would certainly be HIGHLY APPRECIATED especially when this car will be left for hours sitting unde the sun's scorching temperatures in an open area parking lot.
Great review! Got my 5 door Jimny AT monotone variant in March 2024. Definitely love this baby off roader. I love it even more with the upgrade (suspension lift kit, tires, and accessories) mods already installed.
The 5speed MT would be the ideal runabout for a yokel like me. The price is a bit steep. Then again, this is a purpose built vehicle. Thanks for the great review!🤙

At 1.7M plus with just 2 additional doors? Pricey with same engine as the 3-door? 4WD, rather get a pick up. Well, enthusiasts perhaps will buy it, just for the looks, though.
The suspension is redone. It's not the same. And it is a lot better than other ladder frame vehicles in this price range, I am told, not just better than the 3-door Jimny.
Now that you showed the power window controls of the Jimny, i wish that's what they did to the power windows of the 2024 Celerio since Suzuki insists on having this quirky control layout.
Great review as always! I prefer measuring cabin space and boot space in terms of inches or centimeters coz it is easily measurable especially if you need to put luggage in the boot. Measuring space in liters (volume method) is kinda difficult if you have to use only your IMAGINATION.
The market of the Jimny is a Niche market. You don't but it because its practical but because of its unique character. Most likely, those who will buy this will either be their 2nd or even 3rd car.
No frills with both modern and retro. Looks like a fun car nonetheless and can go anywhere. Need something small and not a space ship, high ground clearance, robust and easy to maintain. I see the appeal. It’s the price tag that is the most prohibitive for people comparing it to pickups and the big SUVs but then again bigger is not better for some. People are buying it and seems there is a long waiting list specially for the 3 door. Nobody cares if you wouldn’t buy it, other people are buying it, therefore it has value they are willing to pay. Nevertheless my opinion doesn’t dictate market value. It’s cute 🥰
@@topethermohenes7658 your right. In general, AWD systems like that of a Subie is designed more for high-speed capability over slippery surface (snow, wet or gravelly roads). 4WDS on the other hand are designed for heavy offroading. And of course Subies costs more than Zukies. :)
The Jimny 5-door is exactly the way it is. It is a very good and capable 4x4 stock. It is a niche car for things that matter in real world use. And it scares other car labels who try wanna be a Jimny but with quadruple the price.
@@eg3360 the 5dr is trying to be a practical everyday car which it is not. it's still cramped, uncomfortable, and has bad fuel efficiency. you're better off w/ the 3dr plus another normal car
@@rondg2 did the Suzuki tell you that as a fact or is that your personal opinion? Because there is a big difference between the two. The 4x4 alone will tell you that it is not meant to be a practical everyday car. The form factor vs. aerodynamics will tell you that it is not gonna be a practical everyday car. The 1.5 liter engine will tell you that it is not meant to be a practical everyday car. Anyone who makes the same comment as you is either totally innocent in the world of cars or simply nit-picking. That is because the Jimny is marketed as a small-sized capable offroader that can live in asphalt as well as in rough terrain. For the record, the Jimny is a 4 seater. Contrary to your opinion, it is not cramped for people 6 feet and below, so long as you don't try squeeze 5 people in it. The Suzuki is a niche car and not for everybody. But for those whose driving environment requires the capabilities of a Jimny, it has little to no peer at the moment at the given price tag.

Nice car no frills go and see a dealer Saturday John Vanharen
The Jimny is a niche car. When you know, you know.
Hi there greetings from Australia 🇦🇺 I got one pick up in 3 weeks looks good will let you know how it works good and bad sty turned John
You answered your own questions lol bro is talking to himself
short answer: no. if just for the looks and size, i'd get the 3 door instead.
Yes 3 door FTW
Is the lcv variant available in the philippines. Would make a great farm truck in the provinces.

A bit pricey for a small size. There are larger 4x4 pick up trucks at a cheaper price.

Jimny appeals to a smaller audience, but became even smaller with the increase price tag.
Go to Suzuki dealerships right now, you cant see any displays for both 3 & 5 doors. They're sold out right before they're built 😂😅😂

Mahal kasi. Makakabili kana ng pickup base model sa pricetag na yan o base model suv

Got ours last week and my wife loves it. Bought it for her.
I think the issue with the 3-door is the backseat AC not cool enough

Damn, I like this guy!
for the price of this, you can buy 2 triton 4x4.
Pambihira ang OA ng price pra same feature ng sasakyan na yan...
first time i see offroad 100PS x 130NM :/
Kung 7 seater lang to eto na bibilhin ko eh sayang.
Looks 10/10

Sorry, but a 5-door Jimny reminds me how Monica feels about low-fat mayonnaise...IT'S NOT MAYONNAISE!!!
But this can still PIVOT better than a lot of SUVs off road 🙂

What 4wd can I buy for 1.7m better than this?
Nothing. Now you know.
