@@handsonwithbabbar I agree! I am almost sold after test-driving the Jimny recently and this video kind of cleared some of the minor details I was pondering about. It is indeed a beautiful small machine but trust me.. it is the most comfortable in tight traffic conditions. I test drove this in Bangalore's mad bumper to bumper traffic and I love the nimbleness with which I could maneuver this machine. Simply brilliant. I am just not sold on the pricing but what the hell, there's nothing that beats this car in the segment after all. So mostly this is replacing my current 10 year old sedan.
My Brother in Christ, people like you are always happy to apply the "pseudo" tag to reviewers that take the time to work on and grow a RUclips channel. Why not try to do it yourself, and see how easy it is?
Mine shall be called 'King Julien' (from the 'Madagascar' animated movies fame. Just love that quirky character - as so many people love this quirky little super capable car). I can't wait for mine. I did feel, though, during the test drive that the engine sound does come through pretty clearly at higher revs (maybe some sound deadening may help). The box shape will also result in wind noise. In your video too, when you were showing the 80 and 120 km/h beeps, felt/sounded loud. And the lack of door storage and the hand-rest is definitely an annoyance. But none of these would dissuade me.
Lovely name for this happy car indeed! You will pardon all the little shortcomings when you are sitting inside "King Julien", mark my words and do write back once it happens, good luck👍
Exactly! Most people don't know this but the power to weight ratio for the Jimny and the Thar Petrol is exactly the same 😎, thanks for corroborating my findings, Cheers 👍
What should I say...!!! People have commented enough about this man's reviewing style and his honesty and his personal take on the Jimny....I've been watching a lots of car reviews in years specially the famous ones on youtube, people know whom all I am referring too...After watching this man's reviewing style I can now feel how filmic most of the reviews are...Kindly do more car reviews...I'm sure you'll go places...All the best...!!!
Thank you for your glowing feedback, you have indeed made my day 😊. I am flattered. I am so glad that you enjoyed the reviews, also have made a very serious note of your advice...Thanks again👍
Superb and captivating unbiased review. The features are well explained. I am driving XL6 since a year,Three irritants for me.Firstly,no Led indicators on doors, display panel like XUV.Secondly, connecting to Music System thru Blue Tooth or USB is a big struggle.Lastly, the Gear change display gets hidden behind the Steering, one has to bend forward to see the Gear.hope they have addressed these irritants in Jimny.
Thank you for your compliments - appreciate your saying that! I hear you, it's a struggle to understand how big car companies miss the simplest things sometimes! The XL6 otherwise i hear is a fun car to drive...On the Bluetooth connectivity, have you searched the web and seen is this a universal problem or something wrong with your car or your phone specifically, because the Bluetooth connection in the Jimny is just seamless! secondly, the steering column in the XL6 is adjustable both for tilt and reach, so you can adjust it to suit your height / sitting stance and you should be able to see the gear info without bending, look it up, if you are not aware of it. Let me know if any of this helped. Cheers and good luck! 👍
I appreciate that - thank you so much for your compliments! I know how that feels brother, please don't lose hope yet, this life is full of surprises, i am wishing you a future with a nice Jimny in it that is yours, cheers 😊
wonder full and informative review, agree with all the details. beep can stooped for infotainment system in setting.. the car is crazy and wonderful, will recommend going for AT 235/75/R15 the tires are made for Jimny and help in better highway and off road control
Thank you so much for you kind words, appreciate it! Ya, figured out silencing the beeps in system settings. I am firm on staying with the stock tyres - the Bridgestone Duelers, its currently shod in, are amazing tyres in all respects. Thanks again, Cheers 👍
this was an absolute delight to watch! incredible real world review of a fantastic car by a man who has driven his cars for a good long time! this is exactly what is missing in todays pseudo journalists era.
Hey, thank you so much for such glowing comments😊 I am so glad that you found it useful and to your taste. The endeavour is to share and spread the joy, cheers👍🏻
I live in Gurugram with all its potholes. But I will never do any offroading and will prob never use the 4x4. I also do a bit of highway and a bit of uttarakhand. Should I buy this?
Thank you so much, your comment made my day 😊 Hope you got the opportunity to see the other videos as well, appreciate the time taken to watch and comment, cheers!👍
9:22 - I solved the left leg hitting the console by picking the manual Alpha. The manual Jimny doesn’t have the console and My left leg has ample room to keep it but I couldn’t since I have the clutch to work 😂😂
European version doesn't beep at higher speeds much less when the seabelt is not put on the rear when noone is seated. Nor when you change the volume, the radio is different. But it beeps when you open the driver door with the key on the ignition. And that is quite annoying.
Hey Thanks for watching and engaging here, appreciate it! The speeds beeps are government mandated here in India, I learnt that later, that all cars post 2019 have them, my previous car was a 2012 model and did'nt have it, so ya Europe wont have it either. The rear seat however is the really annoying one but i have found a solution :) for it! The stereo volume change beeps can be turned off in the system settings thankfully, which also i learnt later😁. Ya the key, in my case the remote (push button start) not being inside the car beeps annoying but useful, i guess - in short, dealing with the beeps and alarms in one way or the other 😎. Cheers.
I currently own a BMW 330Li but my wife does not drive it, so planning to get a Jimny Alpha AT for her and also planning to use Jimny as our car for mountains. Basically need a rugged car that I can use for congested city driving where BMW cannot be taken and sometimes for mountain trips. Please share your opinion on this and any other suggestion you have
I also steer away from lux cars as I feel there is too much tension that comes along with it esp. if you love cars - where all can it be taken, where to park, is it safe to park, I don’t want to give it to valet, I don’t want to park on the road, why are service and parts so expensive, it’s too big and wide for that area - it congested and narrow, this is a new scratch, this wasn’t there yesterday 🤪 etc etc. Your wife is smart ☝🏼 and she will thoroughly enjoy driving the Jimny. The Jimny will also do everything that you have outlined above and much more and you will enjoy driving it too! You should absolutely go for it! Let me know what you decide - good luck 👍🏽
@@handsonwithbabbar We are taking Jimny's Delivery tomorrow, we can't wait. Help me with some accessories which I should definitely go for from after market.
Good show! Congrats. Are you still getting the discounts on it? Please do share how much? You can check the two latest videos on my channel for space saving and efficiency accessories, cheers 👍🏽
Hello there ! Hope you are well ! Just a quick question, did you receive a traditional printed booklet user manual with your Jimny, the ones on which we can maintain the service records ? My dealer just only gave a printed booklet for the infotainment system. Thanks !
Hi, thanks for reaching out! No they don’t give a printed booklet anymore, but you can ask your Nexa service advisor to share a pdf of the owners manual. I also only received the infotainment manual only 👍🏽.
Thank you so much for your lovely wishes, they mean a lot, really appreciate it - a follow up Q&A review coming up shortly, please stay tuned for more 👍🏻
No idea! I am not looking to do any changes to mine so never explored! Good luck! One smart option is to get your current grill wrapped in Matt black Hope that helps 👍🏽
does start-stop function get disabled in 4H/4L ? Doesnt make sense when you are stuck in slush or slopes. This was annoying feature in brezza too. gets reset evry time.
Hi Sir, I have J.Zeta AT. When I am 100% Rotating the Steering on One side then it's getting heavier on its extreme corners whereas I haven't upgraded the tyres. This is experienced on both the Extreme Corners of the Steering. Any suggestions.
Not sure what that could be or is it normal - also it’s very difficult to comment for me, without experiencing the same! Your best bet is to drive another Jimny and see for yourself if you experience the same thing… and then take action accordingly, if required! Good luck 👍🏽

@@handsonwithbabbar - I haven't done a test drive, hopefully soon. My concern: 1. How comfortable are the back seats for long distance travel, for adults. To head to hills, I will have to drive 400+ kms on highways.
I have no experience with the Manual Jimny but I am told that the gearing is stiff rest everything it’s the same in terms of the ride quality and comfort, Good luck 😊
Price breakup explained was so sensible enough...Not that we all don't know about it. We are so caught up with the current strategy of people just naming vehicles as over priced, that we forget to think about it...Just like how a import car cost more...
Thank you! what you said and also that the break-up is only visible to someone who is buying it otherwise everything is either bundled as ex-showroom and /or on the road! Cheers 👍
Thank you so much for watching and commenting, really appreciate it. I am glad you like the IBEX! I will pass on your compliments to the Video Editor 🙏🏽
Great style Sir... Brilliantly covered aspects of this very capable Mountain Goat. Icing on Cake's top was the name you suggested is really 👌super. Suzuki sure needs to provide an Arm Rest! Bells and chimes can be better than that ancient beep!!! I used to like the Ford chimes. This car is a must buy as one can keep it for decades like our elders did with the Gypsy 🙏 My IBEX is on its way. 😊
I really liked your way how u kept this conversation unbiased and opened a way for the people who were in ambiguity whether or not to buy this marvellous invention
Real honest, simple and strsight forward review. A rarity now a days. Great going. Please upload more videos on anything under the sun you feel like. A breath of fresh air in the polluted environment!!
This is the only JIMNY video that I will share- what an honest no nonsense review by someone who you can so relate to- way better than so many noisy self styled auto journalists on the tube. Keep up the great work Ritesh - God bless
I have bought a jimny too recently when Maruti Suzuki offered discounts in December. My variant is Alpha MT kinetic yellow dual tone. I've driven it around 2.2k kms and this is what I feel about this car:- Pros: 1. Very capable off roader. Earlier I was driving 4x2 where sometimes I had to struggle during off roading but off roading in jimny feels way way easier. 2. Compact car. Maneuvering on narrow roads not an issue. 3. Suspension is really good. 4. Body roll over is almost non-existent. 5. Less road presence makes your car look different and with some modifications, people will keep checking out your car. 6. Boot space is adequate. U can put sufficient luggage if u want to go on a trip. 7. Five door system makes it highly practical. Ones who have used 3 door system on gpysy and thar would understand how tedious and uncomfortable it is to sit in the rear seats. Due to this reason, jimny can actually be used as a primary car. 8. Best 4x4 at this price. Cons: 1. Rear seat belt alarm is annoying. 2. Gearbox is stiff initially and may take time to adjust. 3. Stock tyres and the front grill give a bad look to this car imo. Stock tyres are really thin. From the front, car looks like a toy due to this very reason. Upgrade if possible. Side profile of this car looks great though. 4. This car feels underpowered. No matter what others say, this car won't compete with many on the highways. This might be a factor to many who like to drive fast (over 100kph). There's a lag in acceleration. 5. Turning radius is a bit more. 6. Cabin space inside is not enough for big bulky guys. If you're bit overweight, your arms will be touching the car door and also to the person sitting alongside you in the front. For skinny guys it's not an issue. Car is tall enough so there's enough space for your head also. 7. Under thigh support is not adequate in the rear seats. 8. This car doesn't have proper storage space for basic stuff like bottles, phones etc. It's really bothering.
Thanks for summarising most of my video 😀! The stock tyres are perfect for me and work like a charm. I don’t feel the car is underpowered and hey it’s not meant to compete in speed, this one is not fast but it’s fearless! The space inside is more than adequate I feel and I am a big guy, don’t know if you a big built or you are just guessing that it will be tight fit for two big guys! I can tell you from experience that it’s not a tight fit for two big guys sitting abreast in front! Yes rear seat belts are annoying, turning radius is tad bigger and cabin storage is a problem, however I have found hacks for them and you should see my 2 latest videos to see these hacks 👍🏻
@@handsonwithbabbar I've watched all your videos and the latest ones too with hacks. They're good. I'm saying space inside is inadequate because others who have sit beside me have said it. I'm not a big guy but few times I sat with bigger guys and I could feel the space issue. I said underpowered because this car lags in acceleration. I was trying to follow my cousin who was driving swift on chandigarh road but couldn't because of lag in acceleration. Anyway, I live in the mountains so speed is not a concern for me. As you said, this car is not for competing on highways. This car does it job pretty well for what's it made. I'm contended. Stock tyres do the job well but during off roading you might feel it doesn't perform that well as it would with better tyres (A/T).
@@freakout4775My dear fellow, the matter at hand is not with the vehicle itself, but rather with the unfortunate corpulence of your companions. It might behoove you to gently suggest they consider adopting a more refined and healthful diet. Such a course of action could not only extend their years but also allow you to derive greater pleasure from your conveyance.
A very unique presentation on Jimny I had ever seen from an Indian RUclipsr. Great Piece of work sir & yes you busted a lot of myths which I had formed of this car after reading & watching the reviews. Keep up the good work. I would like to hear more about your first car the Fiat Uno if you could share.
Thanks a ton for your generous compliments, I am so happy to read your comments and to note that it made a difference! Like I said the Uno story another day but I can tell you that it was a dream car for a diesel head, pure unadulterated driving pleasure, Fiat service was a big challenge though 😀. Cheers!
One of the best reviews, the way it was done the way you spoke and the way you addressed issues and compliment the good features with real life comparisons , just the best
Great review. Imagine trying to use the rear for gear, only to have the seatbelts needing to be plugged in. The decision makers at Suzuki that thought this was a good idea, need to be fired.
Thank you! Yes, that's an interesting scenario when the rear belts will trouble you - it's completely illogical that why should you have to buckle up the seats even when no one is sitting, the same is not required for the co-driver seat incidentally, hello! However, the good news is there is work around for that 😉 and also have heard that the alarm stops beeping after some time but it's a considerably long time to endure! Thanks for watching and engaging, cheers 👍
We can't every thing in one package. As every humanbeing is different, in personal thinking & looks and wishes. Well about jeep do not say SUV, it should be first in looks & then should be in feel while driving. Then as per earlier Gypsy, it looks as classic something same & similar with few added features per the time.
I can understand that, however the whole objective of the review was to let you know that its a capable 4 X 4 and what else does it have - both good and bad, so that you can take an informed decision! Secondly, it all finally boils down to what you really want and how badly do you want it - price justifications will follow on their own after that. I hope this helps. Cheers 🍻
Excellent Review. By far the best, among all. Excellent effortless explanation of details and also keeping the broader picture in view. Best part was clearing out many myths. Jimny is an excellent car and someday will go for it. May name it the Ram.
Thank you so much for your kind words, really means a lot to a newbie like me! I wish you all the best and hope that you join this growing Jimny tribe soon 🙏🏽. Watch out for the sequel of my video coming out shortly ☺️
You are really kind and generous with your comments and you have made my day - many thanks, truly appreciate it - a follow up Q&A review coming up shortly, please stay tuned - see i am taking your advice seriously 😊
Your review can make anyone feel that we are actually listening to someone who know the soul of car. Nowadays internet is filled with self claimed enthusiasts and car gurus who review less of a car more of a gizmo.
Superb video sir. I booked Kinetic yellow and finally change it for Bluish Black. I also having same filling of Crome on front grill which actually not required for black colour. My suggestion sir, if possible make Jimny group for us Indians to make some memorable trips. Thank you.👍
Thank you so much Bhavesh for the encouragement! Great choice of color 😉, there may be a Jimny group of us in the future, who knows? In the meantime Please watch out for the sequel of my video coming out shortly ☺️
The IBEX 🔥 whatta solid name, goes really well with this beast! As well as a person like you, looking gangsta😎👌 For a person like me who has such less knowledge about automobiles this video was very very informative! All the cons stated are justified and Suzuki does need to address them especially the beeping, lights and armrest I feel, rest not really sure about the chrome plates but again that's a perspective and everyone does love a good black 🖤 apart from this you brilliantly covered all the aspects and great work on the pricing as well so Kudos to you sir 💪 Please continue making more such videos, more power to you🙌 Can't wait to see it in person💫
Thank you for you complements, you are very kind. I am happy to have added to your automotive knowledge base ;) I am so glad the community is really liking the IBEX, i am thrilled. Thank you you watching, i am sure we will cross paths soon, cheers 🍻
After viewing your review. I have booked the Jimny and will be driving in soon. Thanks for the comprehensive coverage and positive feedback.🙏😊 will name my Jimny “Godspeed”.
Hai Sir it was a nice vlog almost you explained everything we want to know about Jimny. RUclipsrs and car experts not noticed one thing which you noticed ,that is when we drive the car our left leg is touching the side panel which is little irritating and painful 2 days back I drove this Jimny I also feel the same any way it was fruitful video Thank you
Thanks a ton, appreciate it - it takes empathy to understand what others need, i am glad i could help - a follow up Q&A review coming up shortly, stay tuned👍🏻
I was worried about lack of power. Good. Since you drove a Mahindra and you feel that the Jimny does not lack power is encouraging. I am waiting for my MT Alpha to arrive. After watching your review I am now less concerned about power. Great review. Liked your style..
Thanks for sharing - the best way to put it is that its not the strongest but it's not weak either - it's a happy car 😊 Thank you for your compliments. 👍
I have the white xl and I absolutely love it (his name is James) but like you it seems to be the unnecessary beeping and “safety” functions that really are the biggest negative for me, they are incredibly distracting and irritating. Loving your videos sir!
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts and feedback 😊, really appreciate it. Even if they had to include all these Beeps and sounds, they could have atleast made it "softer" also with the option of either shutting down the sounds or atleast reducing the volume of these! I would love to know where in the world are you watching us from🙌
Looked at it at the dealer, love it, Intend to own one soon. That said, seems they were trying to make it look similar to the Jeep. DISLIKES: I think they could have made the cabin 4 or so inches wider by reducing the width of the plastic fender fairings while maintaining the same overall body width. Back of vehicle could be about 6 or so inches longer giving more space behind rear seats and better overall looks. Latch attatchments for rear seat back protrudes too much. Boot acces door does not open all the way. Dashboard is too blocky looking in design. Front indicators, could be wrap around. Tail lights on bumper. LIKES: 4WD. Good ground clearance (real off road, not wanna be). Manual shift for 4WD (no button select). Loaded features.
Hello Sir.waiting for new video from your side. I am thinking to name my Jimmy Ibex.. if you like, I will buy my Jimmy ext April 2025 while I am coming back to India my home after missing for last 20 years, please respond. Thanks
11:45 thats a lie from everyone. The real topspeed from jimny is 165-170kmph. I drive most of the time 140-150kmph. Because I live in germany and below that speed your are to slow.
That’s cool and great to know! I have been able to reach 150 Kmph before I ran out of “safe” road, we don’t have Autobahns here yet 😜, you are lucky to be able to drive at those speeds - safely and legally too. Keep driving safe 👍🏽
There is a new issue reported by owners of Jimny and that is the Rear propellar shaft touching/rubbing the chacis cross member. Any update/ information regarding the same.
I have spent 3 days with my new Jimny so far. Mine too Is bluish black alpha AT. I changed the tyres to continental 215/75/r15 at on the day one as I didn’t like the stock and couldn’t really trust on them for my kind of driving. The vehicle is certainly very comfortable for front 2 seaters, the rear ones may ask to stop for a while after 100 or 150 kms. Only one thing i miss is the throttle response that I used to get from the duster awd I sold. Am planning to replace the rear seat with 2 captain seats and make it a full 4 seaters after 1st or 2nd service. Please share your opinions
Congratulations of your new Jimny! You are right, the rear seats may be a challenge for long drives! If you do need 4 functional seats frequently, then it would make sense to go for the Captain seats assuming you will not miss the folding feature of the current rear seats for a bigger boot space when you need it as the captain seats are unlikely to have that flexibility. I would however be very interested in finding out how that works and if you do plan to execute it, you can let me know in advance through my YT mail turbobubdiy@gmail.com and maybe we can even make a video ;) who knows! My experience with the throttle response has been that, its really quick when you take off and then it tapers down - infact i always leave the traffic behind, everytime i take off from red light changing to green and i have noted it more than a few times ... may be its your tyre upgrade!! Cant say. However you that go for a throttle controller to correct that situation... Hope this helps, good luck 👍
Excellent review , precise & to the point. I saw A Lord Jagannath souvenir hamging from your irvm, are you from Odisha? Also you mentioned about DRLs in Jimny. As far as Im aware, Jimny doesnt jave DRLs. Please correct me if Im wrong
You are right brother, those are not exactly DRLs, more like parking lights but can be kept on like DRLs. I am a fauji kid so all places and all Gods are mine 😊, travelled quite a bit in your beautiful state in 2019, had got the lord from Puri 🙏🏽.
Good content …. Would have loved to hear the sound quality by putting on a copyright free music. Naming the Jimny….how about the Snow Lion or the Moutain Lion…
Thank you! Sorry about the music bit, we realized it only after the video was published and then we just had to mute it... once again the Arkamys set up in Alpha variant is pretty good - I am more than happy! The audiophiles may not completely agree though...😉 I like Mountain Lion - Go for it 👍
Hello! My first car was the Premier Padmini followed by the Fiat Uno - a fantastic car let down by poor support. I graduated to a Santro, then an Indica, then a Scorpio, then an Innova - I want to buy the Jimny but not sure if it's under powered with the 1500 CC engine, the new price is even more the reason! The Thar is powerful but a 2 seater and hence not practical - so which way do I go?
Our car journey has commonality 😊! Go with the Jimny eyes closed, you will love it! Reasons: 1. Practical, good sized, fun to drive car (not under powered). 2. Great deal on the price currently 3. Five doors is really the deal clincher even if you ignore everything else! Go for it, thank me later!
I have top model Manuel jimmy.Red colour I think the Guy/ Girl is cute. He/she got me behind the driving steering again. I am driving around like a teenager 😊 Udayabhanu sreedharan Trivandrum

Interesting name, you are probably going in for a white Jimny then... Yeti's color 😊. Thank you for watching and the love from God's own Country, Cheers 👍
Hi sir i booked jimny next month last week delivery time... So can u plse suggest me... I want to upgrade my tyre size to 215/75 R15 is good or bad...?.
My advice, don’t change tyres unless you have a genuine NEED to do it! All the wider tyres are giving a lower mileage and then people are wondering why!!! The stock tyres are Bridgestone Duelers, one of the best SUV tyres there are, keep them! Congrats and all the best for your new Jimny! 👍🏽
I was in wait for around the time it is launched in other countries. That i will buy jungle green color in 3 door jimny but maruti disappointed.hope they will launch it with updates addressed in reviews. I used xuv for 7 years 2 lakh odo. It was named light house full of leds. Same i am struggling in my crysta now. No leds dont know why?
2 lakh KMs in 7 years - wow, hats off to you! The XUV 500 was a great car no doubt, i thoroughly enjoyed driving it too and you are right about the lights, in the 7-seater there was one reading led light for each passenger including the third row... can understand why big brand don't sometimes get the basic right like the lights in Jimny and Crysta? Thank you for watching cheers👍
Should we use 4H on ghat roads for hair pin bends and steep inclines on good tarmac ghat roads? I am having an alpha AT. Will that help to climb more easily ?
You will not need to use 4H for steep inclines, just drive in 2 or L on 2H - that is what these gears are for… I have a dedicated video on this: ruclips.net/video/7sf7l9aezdY/видео.htmlsi=bS7JJe7s9A8afEnb Enjoy
Price is not justified at all, Jimny is clearly overpriced. All the cess/GST etc is also applicable on Mahindra Thar but still it's price is more value for money.
Thank you for watching and your engagement! I think we can debate this till the cows come home 😁. Finally, it will be a personal choice, Jimny just because of the five doors and a proper usable boot space and 6 airbags for safety and so much more has the potential to become a practical family car, like it has become for me! It fits my lifestyle today like a glove! Thar is a great second / hobby / weekend car and there you go again if i need to have another car along with the Thar, you tell me which one is expensive now and again 😊. Cheers.
It's a great car both on road and off road - perfect for a small family that loves a li'l bit of adventure and needs a practical fun to drive car for the city 👍. Thank you for watching and your wonderful comments.
Thank you for sharing. However i think you have not sat on rear row seats. They are not comfortable at all. The rear row seat backrest pricks you in the middle of your spine and this is real irritating. It should be around your neck and not below your shoulders. The front part of cabin seems quite roomy but the rear part is crammed. This car a beautiful 4x4 toy to play.
Hey thanks for watching and your comments. I have done a detailed review of the rear seat in this video ruclips.net/video/mLnApi1oAPA/видео.html I think you missed it! You are right it's really a delightful toy! I love the size and the potential of this car 😊. Please subscribe if you already haven't then you wouldn't miss my new content. Thanks and cheers 👍
Nice review of a versatile car..! Waiting for my Jimny, will remove the JIMNY badg and replace with GYPSY for obvious nostalgic reasons.. BTW I like the choice of music you have..Eye of the Tiger..!!
Congratulations on yours! The gypsy has a cult following in India, a lot of people were expecting that it will still be called Gypsy in this new avatar..thank you for your kind words, appreciate it! Cheers 🍻
First time I see the 5 door and you didn't show the back ! I want to see how much room you have if you put the rear seats down for overlanding ! Not interested in the radio and such !
Please subscribe to my channel youtube.com/@handsonwithbabbar and your will be able to see all my videos about the Jimny, I have covered the rear seats in this one ruclips.net/video/mLnApi1oAPA/видео.html Cheers and good luck!
Great review. Very sensible. Ibex is an apt name. System sounds volume can be turned down in settings on touch screen. And system beeps can be switched off. May be you can disable Auto start / stop engine feature in the hidden system settings on the dashboard. Check user manual. If you use Auto light function then you don’t need to worry about DRLs & headlights. I think DRL should always be on by default - unless they have given to option to disable that for use in jungles. Many of the features are similar to Brezza / Urban Cruiser. Happy driving ! I think I will book one after watching your review.
You booking a Jimny after seeing my review is the best compliment I can get! Thank you for your kind compliments and also sharing your knowledge on Maruti cars - I did figure out the Volume beeps silencing in settings & also read in the Owner's manual that you can disable start stop in settings but haven't found that yet, DRLs are still a mystery 😊 Thanks again, Cheers 👍
Hey! I wanted to know if anything you have said in this video has changed after nearly 10 months of ownership? As anything gotten better or worse? Looking at the sales of the jimny, I'm afraid that Maruti will discontinue and I want to buy it before they do. What has your overall ownership experience been like?
Yes, I love my car more than ever, is the change that has happened and i am saying that in all sincerity! I don't think MSIL will discontinue the Jimny any time - it an icon and has tremendous demand and respect worldwide and since it's made in India - it will always be there, but might only be produced on demand for us. It's very sad that MSIL doesn't not understand the psyche of their own icon - they botched up the launch with greedy pricing and not creating enough awareness and hype before the launch - there should have been a proper buildup for a year perhaps and then the launch with invitation pricing and then they should have taken it from there and it would've been a runaway success... well 😒 My 2 bits, go for it, Good Luck 👍
This is the most genuine review I have ever seen so far.
Awww, super nice of you to say that, thank you! Hope you have seen the second, follow up video, that was released yesterday 😊
Please do not stop reviewing cars. Far better than todays pseudo car journalists
Many thanks for your kind words, really appreciate it - a follow up Q&A review coming up shortly, stay tuned👍🏻
@@hippie_on_the_wheels5472Prices are better now.. :)
Great narrative, feels positive!
11 minutes, You are right. What counts is the power to weight ratio. The Jimny is more than adequate
Exactly! Most people don't know this but the power to weight ratio for the Jimny and the Thar Petrol is exactly the same 😎, thanks for corroborating my findings, Cheers 👍
A nice honest review, thank you !
I am so glad that you liked it 😊
What should I say...!!!
Dz was d best honest review of all... I've been following Jimny since 2017 or 2018.. Will buy in my next life 😢 Congrats 👏 👍
Hey, thank you so much for such glowing comments😊
I am so glad that you found it useful and to your taste. The endeavour is to share and spread the joy, cheers👍🏻
I live in Gurugram with all its potholes. But I will never do any offroading and will prob never use the 4x4. I also do a bit of highway and a bit of uttarakhand. Should I buy this?
Same answer as your other question.
The best review of the 5 doors jimny I've watched yet.
Thank you so much for watching and encouraging 😊
beautiful review and very articulate.
Thank you so much, your comment made my day 😊 Hope you got the opportunity to see the other videos as well, appreciate the time taken to watch and comment, cheers!👍
9:22 - I solved the left leg hitting the console by picking the manual Alpha. The manual Jimny doesn’t have the console and My left leg has ample room to keep it but I couldn’t since I have the clutch to work 😂😂
Haha … perfect solution indeed! However my “clutching” days are over 😊
European version doesn't beep at higher speeds much less when the seabelt is not put on the rear when noone is seated.

I’m going to preorder one, they look amazing. Thanks for the great video

Hi, I’m looking for a Front Grill for Jimny in the Same Pattern. The Stock Chrome Grill is bling. Pls guide as to where to buy it from. Thank You 🙏🏼
No idea! I am not looking to do any changes to mine so never explored! Good luck! One smart option is to get your current grill wrapped in Matt black

does start-stop function get disabled in 4H/4L ? Doesnt make sense when you are stuck in slush or slopes. This was annoying feature in brezza too. gets reset evry time.
Great point and question, i will check and update! Cheers 🍻

Honest Review! Liked it. Still in two minds to buy or not.
It’s a great car, What are your concerns about it, let me know maybe I can help you take a decision, I would love to! Cheers.
@@handsonwithbabbar - I haven't done a test drive, hopefully soon.
My concern:
1. How comfortable are the back seats for long distance travel, for adults. To head to hills, I will have to drive 400+ kms on highways.
Valid question, please watch out for the sequel of my video, i am addressing this specifically since a lot of people have asked for it! Cheers 👍
Liked the Name; IBEX !!! Great Video, Keep it up!
Thank you very much, appreciate your encouragement. Cheers 🍻
Sir any idea about how is the manual ??
I have no experience with the Manual Jimny but I am told that the gearing is stiff rest everything it’s the same in terms of the ride quality and comfort, Good luck 😊
@@handsonwithbabbar thank you sir have booked the manual alpha black ..
I am planning to give name as "Rishabh" :) for white Jimny
Interesting choice, congratulations!
Cheers 👍
An excellent review. The narration for each cons with the speed indicator was beautiful. Final verdict of naming it as IBEX is awesome Sir. 👌👌

So nice of you to say that, I am glad you liked! Congratulations on your IBEX, may this tribe continue to grow and for decades as you said 😀
I really liked your way how u kept this conversation unbiased and opened a way for the people who were in ambiguity whether or not to buy this marvellous invention

I've driven it around 2.2k kms and this is what I feel about this car:-
Pros:
Cons:

Thank you so much for sharing specific feedback, it's really helpful and I really appreciate it - it means a lot. 😊
Lovely review! I think I know where you are located, as I will be moving there too. So hope to catch up soon!
Thank you so much and welcome to the neighbourhood! Maybe our paths will cross soon 😊. Watch out for the sequel to the video, coming soon 😊
We can't every thing in one package. As every humanbeing is different, in personal thinking & looks and wishes. Well about jeep do not say SUV, it should be first in looks & then should be in feel while driving. Then as per earlier Gypsy, it looks as classic something same & similar with few added features per the time.
Rightly said, everyone is different! Cheers 👍
What ever the explanation think again is 18 lakh onroad worth for 4x4 transfercase.
I cannot live with it
I can understand that, however the whole objective of the review was to let you know that its a capable 4 X 4 and what else does it have - both good and bad, so that you can take an informed decision! Secondly, it all finally boils down to what you really want and how badly do you want it - price justifications will follow on their own after that. I hope this helps. Cheers 🍻

The IBEX 🔥 whatta solid name, goes really well with this beast!
As well as a person like you, looking gangsta😎👌
For a person like me who has such less knowledge about automobiles this video was very very informative! All the cons stated are justified and Suzuki does need to address them especially the beeping, lights and armrest I feel, rest not really sure about the chrome plates but again that's a perspective and everyone does love a good black 🖤 apart from this you brilliantly covered all the aspects and great work on the pricing as well so Kudos to you sir 💪 Please continue making more such videos, more power to you🙌

Thanks a ton! Thats a really nice way of complimenting, i am elated. 😊
You just designed a new Jimny for Suzuki 😜
Loved the video! Your style and info stand out. Amazing sign off! I might name my Jimny Chetak!😄

Yes I have heard that there have been a couple of instances, but fortunately my Jimny doesn’t have the issue…

Absolutely correct, thank you 👍🏽
I have spent 3 days with my new Jimny so far.
Thank you so much ! Your reviews are Very meaningful
So nice of you of you to say that, such comments give us motivation, cheers 😊
Excellent review , precise & to the point. I saw A Lord Jagannath souvenir hamging from your irvm, are you from Odisha? Also you mentioned about DRLs in Jimny. As far as Im aware, Jimny doesnt jave DRLs. Please correct me if Im wrong

Sorry about the music bit, we realized it only after the video was published and then we just had to mute it... once again the Arkamys set up in Alpha variant is pretty good - I am more than happy! The audiophiles may not completely agree though...😉

That's a great idea, good luck, hope you buy yours soon, cheers 👍
Reasons:
1. Practical, good sized, fun to drive car (not under powered).
2. Great deal on the price currently
3. Five doors is really the deal clincher even if you ignore everything else!
Go for it, thank me later!
Great video, you have put in alot of effort to create this video, thanks.
Thank you so much - really appreciate the love and encouragement 😊
I have top model Manuel jimmy.Red colour
I think the Guy/ Girl is cute.
He/she got me behind the driving steering again.
I am driving around like a teenager 😊

Haha … what a sweet comment - from all your antics it looks like it’s a girl and you are in love with her 😍
We have one small suggestion. Please use synthetic oil for gearbox.
You will get minimum 30% better performance.
Please give feedback later on.
👍
Hi Sir, I have J.Zeta AT. When I am 100% Rotating the Steering on One side then it's getting heavier on its extreme corners whereas I haven't upgraded the tyres. This is experienced on both the Extreme Corners of the Steering. Any suggestions.
Not sure what that could be or is it normal - also it’s very difficult to comment for me, without experiencing the same!
Your best bet is to drive another Jimny and see for yourself if you experience the same thing… and then take action accordingly, if required! Good luck 👍🏽
Ok.. i believe you about the price of the car..
Haha … I am glad you do - just sharing the info i had. Cheers 🍻
Probably am going to name mine as "Yeti"..... Going to book Jimny this Onam. Love from Kerala
A Fauji review. I loved the way you articulated what the Jimny is to you. It felt genuine and refreshing. Have a great time while driving the Ibex.
So glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for your wonderful comments and good wishes, very motivating! Cheers 😊
IBEX name is GOOD mine would be VICTOR....i like the way you gave your review PERFECTO!
Thank you for the compliment - nice name too ✌🏽cheers and good luck!
Should we use 4H on ghat roads for hair pin bends and steep inclines on good tarmac ghat roads? I am having an alpha AT. Will that help to climb more easily ?
You will not need to use 4H for steep inclines, just drive in 2 or L on 2H - that is what these gears are for… I have a dedicated video on this: ruclips.net/video/7sf7l9aezdY/видео.htmlsi=bS7JJe7s9A8afEnb
Enjoy
Cheers.
wow u are absolutly right! i was wondering y i liked jimmy but pple who are alone they really like this car small! and practical!
It's a great car both on road and off road - perfect for a small family that loves a li'l bit of adventure and needs a practical fun to drive car for the city 👍. Thank you for watching and your wonderful comments.
Thanks for a detailed review. Appreciate your time and efforts in making this video. It is quite helpful.
Thank you for your very thoughtful comments, I am so glad you liked it, Cheers. 😊
Amazing video and great knowledge sir hats off 👑🔥
Thanks a ton for you encouragement - truly appreciate it 😊
Nice review of a versatile car..!
Please subscribe to my channel youtube.com/@handsonwithbabbar and your will be able to see all my videos about the Jimny, I have covered the rear seats in this one ruclips.net/video/mLnApi1oAPA/видео.html
Cheers and good luck!
It's very sad that MSIL doesn't not understand the psyche of their own icon - they botched up the launch with greedy pricing and not creating enough awareness and hype before the launch - there should have been a proper buildup for a year perhaps and then the launch with invitation pricing and then they should have taken it from there and it would've been a runaway success... well 😒
My 2 bits, go for it, Good Luck 👍
Thanks for this reply! This is really helpful!
Car experts😂...legend knows who they are.
Good review.
Thanks man appreciate it. Haha … and that legend is legend too 😂 Cheers!
Nice review. Faridabad - Gurgaon road
Yes, thank you, great observation, some part it was on leopard trail since you are familiar with the area 😀
