I totally agree. We have a 5/3 house and I can clean it weekly in about 30 minutes. As you do I clean as I go. That helps tremendously!!
I go upstairs probably every 3 months to dust, vacuum, and clean the toilet. My husband and I are the only ones in the house so I really just dust, vacuum, swiffer and mop downstairs except the kitchen and our room/bathroom. Those two rooms do have to get a deep clean every week. But again it’s mostly dusting and vacuum/mop. It is so easy to clean without stuff. 😁

these are some great tips! I also found that a cordless vacuum cleaner is so helpful to me since we have a cat. because you can just quickly grab it and clean the floor or just some corners on a daily basis ✨

Hey Becky, as I was watching I was thinking that it would have been so overwhelming and stressful tidying up after a few days if you weren't so minimalist. I'm working towards simplifying as much as I can as due to life circumstances and where I am living at the moment I feel constantly overwhelmed ❤️
I definitely remember that feeling! I used to get so upset and anxious and would be yelling at my daughter and husband 🤦🏼♀️ not something I ever want to go back to! I wish you the best in your decluttering journey ❤️❤️

Lice! It’s THE worst! My 2 daughters had it years ago and I just remember the hours and hours I spent combing out the nits. 🤢 I’m so sorry you guys had to go through it!
I left my pillow on vacation too a couple years ago. I was SO sad because I couldn’t find the exact same one, which was my favorite.

Love the idea about storing pjs under the pillow. I might try that as I have a tiny wardrobe and I can't store anything under the bed because it is an ensemble mattress.

I noticed hat your daughter's numbers are all reversed. How old is she? (sorry, teacher mode is getting warmed up for August). I'm so sorry about your husband's wrist! Ouch! I hope it heals quickly. Our house is easy to pick up, as well, even after a few days. 💖 I love how bright your house is. My house is a twinkie-shaped condo and it's daarrrrrk downstairs.

Random, unrelated question: is your dog part Cavalier King Charles Spaniel? I'm in love with him/her! I have a Cav at home. They're wonderful.
