I just started sharing my art on Pinterest and I feel like my art does really well there. I also love that I can still curate my feed and not have to worry about making reels for the algorithm.
Just the idea of doing art professionally would paralyze me. I paralyze easily so…but I watch your channel because you are a very safe place to hang with
@@cynthiamarston2208 I’m glad you feel safe here 💕🤗 Doing art professionally is not an easy feat and I want to be as transparent as possible on my channel so that aspiring artists know and understand what it takes. There’s a lot to take into consideration so I understand why it seems daunting. Knowing yourself is key as well.
I’ve been watching you for a while now and I love that you keep it real and share what you’ve been learning to help other artists. Teach one reach one ✨
Thank you for your wonderful advice. I rarely use social media, but I do understand how Pinterest could really boost visitors to a website or blog. I am finally getting started creating my website this weekend. I know it will be slow going a first, but these strategies feel doable! Many thanks for your wonderful RUclips channel and all the authentic advice you share. ❤🖌

I hate social media esp ig...been on and off, I easily get tired of it, even without having anything on it yet...I'm a modern calligrapher and lettering artist (self-taught)who's preparing to start creating for the public, but don't know for sure if the tips, will actually work the same for a calligrapher, who just wants to make designs on canvases, fabric and on any surface necessary...
@@tarralu yeah... Modern calligraphers(different from traditional calligraphers) in particular are definitely on pinterest, and ig as well, I've noticed how a lot of calligraphers be pumping out content and creating on ig and they usually look burned out even behind the makeup and nice clothes,...I can tell a lot of creatives on ig are burned out and struggling..I dont want to be like that(sure hard work is a must, but not without time to breathe). I think what I will do at the end of the day is create and post say just twice a week,on ig and a little more on Pinterest(I feel a whole lot better on pinterest for some reason) just to drive traffic to my website...I honestly do not want to sacrifice my mental health and freedom at the alter of social media over use, just because I want to make money. There's this thing ive been telling myself, I want to make money but not money making me. I enjoy your content by the way, as an introvert and an" awakened creative"(been sleeping on my inner creative,I even use to draw as a teenager, portraits even, but was discouraged, and forced to focus on pursuing "professional career",which never worked out,at 30 years old,my desire to create and draw again is revived). I can relate to your videos..

Great points. I still have so many first steps to take before I can even consider this a business. But that is something I want to work towards 😊.

Have you tried Cara yet?
I claimed my username there but I don't plan on using the app though.
