Kia Sportage How to turn OFF Kia Start Stop System & How to turn ON Kia Sportage Start Stop System, or as they call it the Kia ISG (Kia Idle Stop and Go) system.
How to turn OFF the Start Stop System on Kia Sportage.
In this video I will show you how to deactivate the Kia Sportage Start Stop system and then I will show you how to activate the Kia Sportage Start Stop system.
It's a good idea to keep the Kia Stop Start system activated as it cuts the engine when you stop which saves fuel and cuts down harmful emissions. But there may be a time when you want to deactivate the Kia Stop Start system. If you are attempting to drive through a flooded road then you do not want the engine to turn off as you may get stranded. If in doubt do not attempt to drive through a flooded road, if you do then keep it in a low gear, drive slowly and smoothly.

Note: This does not work on Hybrid models!
