I love your suggestion of using the strong transfer tape to hold the blank on the mat. I am doing a bigger engraving tomorrow and will try that technique…. I was worried about it moving but think the transfer tape will be perfect

I engraved a bracelet, but font didn't show up very well.i tried everything to darken it,nothing worked. The paint you used,the red,would it have showed up more if wearing a glove rubbed IT INTO the metal? I have to do a memorial plaque for a friend who just passed.Glad now I have better fonts to choose from.keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for Sharing. Greatly Appreciated.

Hi, I have a question because my Cricut only engraves the outline of the text which makes it hard to read. it doesn't matter wich font I use. How can I fix this?
You need to use one of these specific fonts. Any font that doesn't have lines inside will only be an outline as Cricut does not have a fill at this time.

So majority of the paint came off & out of the engraving areas in this video. So how can we make it stay permanently without being wiped off... even though it already was dry ?
Hi Angie. I can't find the Cricut font you listed as FF ARCHIAN BOOGIE WOOGIE. I find FF ARCHIAN PLASTIC. Cricut must have removed it. Also, couldn't locate ZRAGOZA font either, then I realized you misspelled it.
Hey there. Not totally about engraving. But, I was wondering if it’s normal for Armor Etch clumpy crystals in it. I tried to find a tutorial for glass etching and didn’t see one
I was just given a Cricut Joy as a Christmas gift. Please, do you know why half the fonts dont do what they are supposed to? I typed "to your new home" .. and, it comes out gobbeldgook. When I select writing, it seems to outline the type, instead of the typeface being writing, and solid. Also, it seems to keep defaulting to Cut for the type faces, even as I keep trying to make it Pen. I also keep getting "Error unable to process payment information".

You can't do those with a Cricut.

You would just need to use the search options I discussed in this video and look until you find a font you like.
Angie how would these look with Acrylics? I love your hack for the Strong Grip transfer tape for hold stuff on the purple mat.

Generally no.
can you leave the coloring material on longer for it to have a deeper color?
You can leave it on a bit or add several layers.

How small do you think the cricut is still able to engrave? Like smallest font size?
Gosh. Pretty small but you might have issues reading it clearly?

I didn't let it dry entirely here. I wipe off excess before it dries. You can put as much or as little as you would like in there.

I did misspell that last one! The other may be because you have the kerned fonts only box checked.

You definitely don’t have to buy them all or use the ones I have. And I had a deal where you can get them for free with the free month promo.

Attach your words together. Fonts will always be an outline. It always assumes you want to cut until you change to pen.
You probably get the ERROR because you are choosing fonts you need to be paid and you probably didn't add your credit card
