  • In this video, I run through the process of making a sluggish feeling rim brake feel like new. The brake system in the video is a Shimano 105 5600 series brake lever and caliper. The process works equally well on any side pull brake caliper, single or dual pivot.

    That's exactly what I do, Joey! A lot of times, it's all a bike needs... instead of new cable and housing. Tri-Flow has excellent capillary action. And it actually pushes any water out via demulsification. As long as there is no rust or water deposits (swelling) on the inner... you're good to go. 😊
    This works great on V-brake cables and pivots, too. The good quality ones have bronze bushings where their porosity holds the lube.
