As an owner (owned since '98) of a '95.5 S6 (144K miles) have experienced all of these issues except for cruise control failure. Professionally had my headliner & fabric door panels reupholstered in alcantara last year. Looks fabulous but was pricey...well worth it! Also had the interior C-pillar panels & door pulls (driver's side was very "sticky") recoated & sealed. While everything was apart also had the common sunroof arm failure repaired...my shop custom fabbed the necessary pieces. Where did you source the aluminum T fitting? My plastic one failed a few years ago & replaced it with a new one but next time I change coolant want to replace with aluminum unit.
Ah, I forgot to mention the sunroof arm failure! That's a good one as well Chris. The aluminum coolant tee is from EFI Motorsport. You can find it here: shop.efi-motorsport.com/collections/engine-components/products/billet_coolant_tee_urs4_-_urs6_aan_fitment
I will tell you, one of the biggest shocks after acquiring my son's 1996 A6 2.8 quattro was discovering that the cruise control still worked perfectly. Of course it quit working about a month ago... ;-)
@@mediocreman2 believe it or not its how it is in the old audis, the tcm will peform 1 or 2 checks before actually sending a signal to the cruise control module.

here is how you keep the panel up. I use magnets that I glued on panel and the roof. Mine has stayed up for years.
Most annoying issue is finding one of these. Been searching for years now
For which part? Sunroof panel?
Good stuff.

does anyone who owns a c4/b5 still have good running cruise control lol?

My C4 A6 works great, but my C4 100 only works when warmed up.
