My laptop gave up on me so I haven't uploaded in a long while. But I got a new (desktop) computer so I am celebrating with a new upload.

The music in this game is really good for being so early in the Genesis lifecycle. I'm not much of a shmup fan but I still plop this cart in sometimes just to get a taste of that late 80's rock.

Really awesome track. I also uploaded the arcade version and some people might have differing tastes, I think both has their own charm--Genesis for the drums, arcade for the guitars :)

Are there two pcm channels, or is it a different technique being used?

I haven't done a deep analysis, but just inspecting the DAC waveform output, I think this is just a case of really good sampling (long, high-quality samples with proper decay) and pre-mixed samples (for example, cymbal and kick mixed into one sample). So not necessarily realtime two-channel mixing, but just clever programming. But I'll have to inspect deeply to say for sure :) It sounds so good, I can't believe it either!
