YEAH!! This is my favorite Valis. The title screen is just awesome man and I believe this game uses the same sound engine as Gaiares and other telenet games that use a slightly modified version of it. Something like that. Hard to say which I like more, the PCE-CD soundtrack or the rough-and-tumble Mega Drive soundtrack. The only track that doesn't really do as well in FM is Ningenkai, imo. Sutherland is fantastic, and Staff Roll is a little better on the Genesis. Thanks for uploading; the beefed-up sound is great! This is probably the second-best soundtrack in the series after Valis II for the PC.
irk? the golden age of video games understood the extreme fundamentals of what makes something good that is so rare to come by in today's video game world , one of those having an intro/theme that gets the player hyped to actually play the game like this one does....

i listen to this but with plugin settings that amp up the master system/mark 3 sound bits and reduce the gensis sound chip, and also drop the tempo by like a half or a third? it makes for such a much more impactful and dramatic listening experience for me, it makes it kind of rough for me to hear it in its original intended form

Yeah, while many point to other versions as best, I think the Sega version is kind of amazing.
I Wish Someone would do a remake/release of this series. Brings back fond gaming memory's .
