I honestly dont get why people recommend Skyrim over The Witcher 3 but i guess everyone has a different taste. Ive put like over 200 hours into Skyrim but i dont think it comes even close to TW3.
Imagine a small medieval fantasy town from a 6 year old game feels more lived-in and atmospheric than a very big futuristic metropolis from a today's game yeah ı'm talking about you Cyberpunk.
Yeah... they cut some corners with that one but ,I think it won't happen again after this insane backlash. I didn't even care about Cyberpunk ,the medieval setting is so much better for me.
@@Ochnun I thought I cared about Cyberpunk after getting on the insane hype train, but yeah after experiencing it CDPR does medieval/fantasy WAY better. I think my biggest problem with Cyberpunk beyond all the bugs and half-finished state of the game is that the setting and story just severely lack the soul and emotional depth of The Witcher. The only real emotional resonation I had with Cyberpunk overall was thinking "damn that looks cool," but aside from that I didn't connect nearly as much with the plot or the characters as I did with that of The Witcher games.
@@lhays117 Yeah ,I didn't have any bugs when I played. Opened the game ,played for like 3 hours and closed it. going into novigrad while on horse back to get supplies, contracts and side quests trotting through town like your in a movie or in the actual city itself man witcher is a good game
Novigrad must be among the cities in all video games with the best athmosphere. First time entering through the city walls, through the narrow streets and over to the Hierarch square, and continuing the main quest you just hope it never ends. So much fun, and all in such a small area. Must say my best memories of the game are from Novigrad
I would love to know how to create cities like this. It must have taken ages for them to design such a place. And the others, like Toussaint and Skellige.
What I love the most about this city is that is based on medieval city of Danzig in Poland. Poland is one, if it isn't my favorite country on earth with Hungary. The architecture + red bricks usage makes it so healthy! I remember meeting Morvran Voorhis in the city and the same day helping Dijkstra at his bath-house searching who robbed him! (My Personal Best Video Game Memory) Thank you soooo much for crafting this :D
I will never forget starting the witcher 3 and being shocked how open it was when your are with vesemir. It was a whole different story when you first roll up and enter the gaint cities. Fantastic game
Wanted to thank you again for creating this and the Taverns video and leaving them up. I continue to keep these on when I’m working, and they’re such a comfort to me and help me cope with my work stress. I’m grateful you made these and continue to share them on RUclips!
First time I played this game was in 2022 with the PS5 update. This became one of my favorite games of all time. You get so immersed into the world. Probably spent most of the time in Novigrad with this music playing. Such a masterpiece of a game
The worst part of having played The Witcher 3 is that I will never have the chance to play it for the first time again. Imho, best game ever made. Notice: that's my opinion. Not trying to convince anyone. :)
Ah... So many memories. I love this game. Sadly I can't find my Witcher 3 copy (which came with both expansions.). I don't know what happened to it, whether I simply misplaced it or if it was somehow chewed by my dogs or if it was stolen by one of my siblings and given to someone else. It saddens me cause I have so many memories with that game, it's impacted me a lot. You know, sentimental value and whatnot. If I'm not able to find it I suppose I'll have to buy another one when I'm able to. Aggravates me that I didn't take care of what I was blessed with.
Someone stole and sold all my games. I know the feeling. I even lost limited edition copies of games that came with dlc and items and shit nobody has. Feels bad man. So many memories and value
One thing i love about this game is that there is so much life in the environments, just riding your horse through the forest or the cities is so immersive because everything feels alive.
bro, sometimes the only reason i play games like (for instance WoW) is music and ambience of locations. Composers making music for game industry are geniuses!
This is relaxing the hell out of me and making me very sleepy...Damn, what a wonderful game. Storywise, the expansions were above and beyond the base game.
I could listen to this everyday. I can remember the first time I arrived in Novigrad.... It felt like 100 hours of content. On every replay I take my time on all Questlines, but now it feels like 10-15 hours gameplay. I love this town, the ambience, the music, the quests, the story and the gangs. Only 5 more exams this week!! thank you so much, this music makes part of me super focused to study and part of me want to get up and leave on horseback to Novigrad or the Blue Mountians and start a new life in the Northern Kingdoms... thank you
Pretend ur at oxenfurt working hard

I hope that the studying paid off for you, Phi.
I don't know you but I wish you the greatest of luck in this Pandemic. You'll pass your exams this year too! (If you still study)
This game ages like wine
This game is a genuine masterpiece.
Nothing better than listening to a much loved video game sound track while doing work... thanks heaps!

This makes me wanna play the witcher 3 again. Music, graphics, all those atmosphere C.D projekt made is just, just awesome
When i feel sad or lonely I go back to this comment section
Witcher family forever
I finally got my hands on the complete boxed set of the books and I’ve been listening to the game soundtracks while reading (:
Enjoy this greatness
that is such a good idea
Michael Sorbello: Horror Stories hmm good idea
How much did you pay for full set of the books?
Mićko Lov It’s been a while so I don’t remember the exact price, but I’m pretty sure it was somewhere between $100.00 - $120.00 :)
This city is a big part of this game's beauty.. I mean, after decades of playing other rpg's, when I first walked into Novigrad it struck me so hard, like how is this possible? And I realized how this game shits on everything i've played before.
I appreciate all of your uploads. These vids help me through nightly anxiety, long drive time, and climbing towers. Thank you, and keep them coming!
What kinda towers you climb?
Kyle TheSesquipedalian I climb communication towers and work with wireless internet.
I thought it was an Assassin's Creed 2 reference since the music sounds a lot like it.
Innocents: *burning*
Geralt: *finding a psychotic killer*
The game:
Lmao
*plots to kill the king casually take place*
I just looove the way you put this music with that lively scenery.

Whispers of Oxenfurt is by far my favorite, I need one hour version
I havent played Witcher, Skyrim or WoW but I love the music from these games. Your videos really help me focus. Thank you.
You’re welcome!
At least play Skyrim CmonBruh
The music of Skyrim is one of the best and timeless thing about it. why would you wanna get rid of it?
I honestly dont get why people recommend Skyrim over The Witcher 3 but i guess everyone has a different taste.
Ive put like over 200 hours into Skyrim but i dont think it comes even close to TW3.
witcher 3 (and 2 if xbox or pc) insanely highly recommended!
Been listening to this all week whilst revising for my final exams. Great work as always, loving the Witcher videos - thank you!
Masterpiece - characters, story, music, and generally game itself
I walked every street of Novigrad and it never gets boring of walking over and over again - The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece that will hunt me forever!
Imagine a small medieval fantasy town from a 6 year old game feels more lived-in and atmospheric than a very big futuristic metropolis from a today's game yeah ı'm talking about you Cyberpunk.
Hard to believe both games are made by the same developer...
Yeah... they cut some corners with that one but ,I think it won't happen again after this insane backlash.
I didn't even care about Cyberpunk ,the medieval setting is so much better for me.
@@dawson1787 Not really. CDPR became publicly floated and just wanted your money for the shareholders, lol.
I just didn't get immersed at all in that world .Tbh ,I just hate *futuristic* or *outer space* settings.
But we know CDPR is going back to Witcher and Unreal Engine 5 so they don't have to use their buggy mess of an engine anymore.
I just hope that not all the people that worked on Witcher left already lol.
going into novigrad while on horse back to get supplies, contracts and side quests trotting through town like your in a movie or in the actual city itself man witcher is a good game
9:24 That kid looks like he's havin a grand ol time.
my computer screen while loading witcher 3 would look similar
14:28 просто мурашки по коже всегда любил эту композицию когда заезжал в навиград !!!! )))
The music is soooo
Nostalgic and at the same time it gives you chills
Novigrad must be among the cities in all video games with the best athmosphere. First time entering through the city walls, through the narrow streets and over to the Hierarch square, and continuing the main quest you just hope it never ends. So much fun, and all in such a small area. Must say my best memories of the game are from Novigrad
Ooh, ooh, do the city from Blood and Wine. Do Toussaint!
Oh jeez, that'd be so good !!!!
I've never seen nor feel such beauty and inmersion in a videogame like I experienced walking throuhg Beauclair's streets. Please make a special video!
I really hope they release a version like this as well. It would be gorgeous.
@TRAV AVIS Éclair, capital of the Duchy de Croissant.
@@thomasvleminckx Plenty of Religieuses in this Duchy tho.
I would love to know how to create cities like this. It must have taken ages for them to design such a place. And the others, like Toussaint and Skellige.
Sounds of happiness after leaving the bleak, depressing swamp of velen and those crones
Такая родная музыка. Вот под звуки этого портового города и чудную мелодию так приятно засыпать. ❤
Господин Великий Новгород 😂❤❤❤
If I could erase my memory of playing Witcher 3, then I would erase my memory again and again to play Witcher 3 again and again.
i mean many years have passed but still Witcher 3 still holds a special place in my heart , looking at you Cyberdonk1977 :(
Novigrad feels like home.
(My Personal Best Video Game Memory)
Thank you soooo much for crafting this :D
Went to you for WoW music, now returning for Witcher. You sir are the man! Thank you.
I will never forget starting the witcher 3 and being shocked how open it was when your are with vesemir. It was a whole different story when you first roll up and enter the gaint cities. Fantastic game
Love your work and your description, is helping me a lot during my law degree crunch times. Thanks again, you're the hero we don't deserve.
I can't think of any other city in any other video game that has felt this immersive and memorable
Chills from beginning...time to replay this masterpiece.
Wanted to thank you again for creating this and the Taverns video and leaving them up. I continue to keep these on when I’m working, and they’re such a comfort to me and help me cope with my work stress. I’m grateful you made these and continue to share them on RUclips!
zawsze kiedy tego słucham zaczynam łzawić.. muzyka wpływająca na emocje..
First time I played this game was in 2022 with the PS5 update. This became one of my favorite games of all time. You get so immersed into the world. Probably spent most of the time in Novigrad with this music playing. Such a masterpiece of a game
21:25 Absolutely love this Elector Square part, it screams cultists high in their temple vibes.
The worst part of having played The Witcher 3 is that I will never have the chance to play it for the first time again.
Imho, best game ever made.
Notice: that's my opinion. Not trying to convince anyone. :)
That's not your opinion. That's a fact.
5:51 is my favorite song. I love how mysterious and intriguingly ominous it sounds, yet also somehow relaxing.
This music is called "slums of novigrad"
Same
It's kinda fun watching the character animations as some of them walk through each other. And seeing one turn around to repeat the loop. Great music.
You rebuy it yet?
I think piracy is the option here if you've already bought it.
I lie here at 2:30 at night after waking up from a nightmare. This is helping me calm down. Thanks for this compilation ;)
"HELP! I'M DYING! OF POVERTY!"
In original polish version this is more funny because the beggar says (translation): "Good people! Help! I'm ill... of poverty" :)
So there I was faffing around minding my own business then some mage rocked up and cured me of my leprosy... I had a solid enterprise there I did
@@corbetcrey Meh doesn't come across as funny or that different from the English version.
Ehulp! im dying! of poveh'y!
One thing i love about this game is that there is so much life in the environments, just riding your horse through the forest or the cities is so immersive because everything feels alive.
31:10 -> Perfection
One of the best immersive video game soundtracks out there
This game made me fell in love with my continent, Europe

BlackHeart don’t worry. Girls (including me) like gaming too
I feel like the music is atleast 50% responsible for the games high praise. It's so damn good and immersive.
bro, sometimes the only reason i play games like (for instance WoW) is music and ambience of locations.
Witcher 3 is a masterpiece. Velen, Novigrad, Skellige and Toussaint every region is good in somethings.
Shoutouts to the NPC in the first 2 minutes that can't stop stepping in something.
Zech Frost I thought he was dancing
