I do not own the rights to this work. 0:00 Arcade Mode 0:37 The Garage 1:59 Outside a Crisis 6:51 Sprinter 12:02 Winning Run 16:53 Hard Road 22:15 Finish 24:45 High Score
I know everyone's saying "Outride a Crisis" is the best, but "Hard Road" is even better, and that High Score music where you enter your initials at the end of the game is just beautiful in a melancholic bittersweet way
when super hang on soundtrack is way more serious than now a days need for speed electronic beats.. i like that, focus, serious, as we see right at the first track of this playlist. back then racing games wanted you to feel the race. today they want to impress you with visual effects and electronic beats.. damn
@Arcade Maximum No, it is not. You clearly have no clue - at all. You can hear the differences not even going into detail here about hardware. This runs clearly on YM2151 not YM2612. So your response is just stupid.
The early Mega Drive games never used DAC drums, only FM drums. I believe Yuzo Koshiro was the first to sample drums on the Mega Drive in The Revenge Of Shinobi.
Classic. This and Revenge of the Shinobi have amazing soundtracks, both from 1989.
as well as super monaco gp
Outside a Crisis is hands down one of the game game music ever. Period. Masterpiece.
Man...listening this i remember perfectly of all the lazy afternoons just enjoying this and other awesome games with my cousin. Golden days
Sega being vaporwave since 1989.
One of the GOAT Genesis soundtracks for sure
True gaming, good times ♥
Gotta love the "drunk" melody of "High score" \m/
Came here just to say this game is an easy Top10 of best OST in the entire gaming history. It sounds like a bold statement, but I stand by it
My brain has decided to add the tyre screechs on top *cururururururururrrr*
Cephlin a year later, still listening, still screeching :)

Truly phenomenal soundtrack. Hard Road is my favorite. I was obsessed with this game's soundtrack since the first time I heard it.
All of the melodies and solos are so good.
0:37 Garage theme is same as garage theme in Fantasy Zone!

0:00 "I don't just crawl" *Smirk*
Incredible tones!
Hard road is my fav.
Track 1 goes hard.
Arcade version sounds much more powerful but MD's version has its own charm

06:55 Operation Ground And Pound (DragonForce)

Esse game deveria se chamar Mega Hang On.
Pfffff.. Road Rash was the go to motorbike game :p
Whatever you say kid
NAHUEL CISNEROS Sure I won't deny that. But I know which one I'd prefer to play.
@@spacebud9569 rly? play super hang on, then you never would play road rash again ;)
One sec let my find the rom for this game
the garage is the shop theme from fantasy zone or is it the other way around
Sdds megadrive
Okay, this soundtrack is overall great, but real talk? The Genesis version of "Sprinter" is so awful it hurts my ears.
Is "The Garage" borrowed from Fantasy Zone?
yes
This is the arcade soundtrack, not the Genesis/Mega Drive one.
@Arcade Maximum No, it is not. You clearly have no clue - at all. You can hear the differences not even going into detail here about hardware. This runs clearly on YM2151 not YM2612. So your response is just stupid.
@@mitvoid Clearly Genesis/Mega Drive.
@@Tubeite lol
if the genesis can do good drum samples, what happend here
The early Mega Drive games never used DAC drums, only FM drums.

Adrian Gauna So, what'd they use DAC for in early games? Or did they not use it yet?
In the early games from 1988-1989 the DAC channel was used primarily for voice sampling.
I liked the early Genesis games from 1988-1989 better in terms of music, but I also like the samples done by Koshiro as well.
Remake this game please.
NO! DON'T DO THIS!!!! a remake would ruin this masterpiece of 1987
🙂🙂😂🥲🥲😌😌😔😔
Can I repost this?
Sounds a bit off to me.
Man the percussion sounds so dry, ew
I know FM percussion can sound better than that
