I was a kid back in 1996 I played a bunch of SC2k. My family moved across the country and taking off from the airport that afternoon I could swear I heard 'Simcity Segue', watching the brightly colored houses and lawns and buildings scroll beneath me.

The music was 50% of the game experience with Space Harrier!

They were no good on the consoles, they needed lower resolution, and less details but all the familiar music is enhanced to sound much better, makes it's a better game? who knows..

The boss theme sounds very dark on the pc engine version.

When my mother bought me a Game Gear back in 1992-3, she ended up "borrowing" it to play Columns for like 2 hours before finally giving it to me. Judging by the comments, I see that there is something about puzzle games that attracts mothers.

Something about this song 20:23 captures trekking through this frozen wilderness, now only inhabited by demons, dreams and the faintest of echoes from the past, so well. How long has it been since this world was last animated, thousands, millions or billions of years? How many iterations has life, man and civilization here undergone? An ancient, sleeping and frozen world is about to be unthawed and awoken. ActRaiser along with the Quintet Trilogy was more than just a game, they really had a story to tell. My favorite song from the game.
