Still the best and most accurate comedy skit I've ever seen. He's so honest that he doesn't even stumble on one single word for 7 straight minutes. It takes too much time to think of a bullshit lie.
Hes the best teacher ive had in my life.if people would just listen and have just a little common sense it makes total sense. Its just like the gun prob in america they will never do a thing about bc they will lose too much money.or the drugs in america,it makes billions a yr in state revenue
Jack Meoff That is my favorite line in this. His timing and delivery...the amount of time he puts between “he loves you” and “and he needs money” is just so perfect. Gut busting!
George Carlin was one of the realest people to ever become famous. He found a way to talk about serious stuff by adding humor to it. Very intelligent and very well informed. Miss this guy's comedy.
His rants about bullshit, especially business bs, always make me think about everytime I have to go and negotiate for something, especially cars. It's definitely one of the most frustrating experiences one can be involved in because these dealership assholes want to get you for everything they can.
+zosorh - It's a sign of stupidity that you would suggest that, and think anyone could give less fucks that you're conceding you are weak. Whine all you want and We Don't Care. A strong character means you have self reliance and accept the actions of others so long as they are tolerant of yours. Feigning caring in some pathetic self serving way with a token post instead of even misguided action, is as deep in bullshit as it gets.
I think Jon Stewart's final monologue was a tribute to George Carlin, who appeared on his show before he started hosting The Daily Show. I wish Jon Stewart will come back to television. We need him now more than ever.
Jon Stewart was too partisan. I appreciate someone who goes after all groups equally than one who just focuses on one political party, and usually it was just Fox News
+john gleason Stewart did go after Obama a few times, like over him saying that if we like our health insurance, we can keep it, or when he sent over 300 military advisors to Iraq. By the way, Fox News is so full of shit, more so than CNN and NBC combined, so I don't see why they should get an equal amount of slack. Jon Stewart goes after people pushing a religious, militaristic, or financial agenda, and Republicans just happen to fit all three criteria. Yes, a lot of Democrats have those agendas as well but usually just one aspect, and most of the time it's just financial.
***** My one complaint about him always going after Fox is that they're not really that relevant any more. I mean the average age of a Fox News viewer is 67, and I feel like just about everyone knows that they're a propaganda outlet. Are they really worth that much time and energy any more? Granted they had a much greater influence during the Bush years, and they deserved all of the criticism Stewart and Colbert dished out, if not more. I'd be really curious what Stewart would say now that the left has started pushing a social justice agenda with the same tactics the right uses. He'd have much less of an excuse now for not going after the left then he did during the Obama years. We all know what Carlin thought of the left and their political correctness nonsense.
i wonder if this was before or after "You Are All Diseased" which, IMHO, is the absolute best Carlin special. it's interesting to have a sort of extended version of the bovine feces trillogy! thanks for posting
+KriegmTsavongLah And put on one of the 1.0 stickers, NOW ! :D As an old fan of George Carlin, i can recommend the DVD box "all my stuff" by the way. It's worth every Cent!
this one of the greatest men ever. It took him 5 minutes for me to love him. I wanted to meet him about time someone has the same viewpoint as me too bad he died.
The two priorities that produce the most amount of bullshit for the least amount of effort: * Protect the Institution from Embarrassment at all costs to everyone and everything except the Institution. * Substitute "Institution" above with "My paycheck."
Of course man at his base is sane, wise, kind, humble and honest BUT in order to play the game and have the game of "life" he stays involved in shit. Otherwise he would be bored.
Reading through the comments and realize people still did not get the point he was making. Are there that many people in 2018 who still have no clue what is going on??
I immediately think about this timeless skit from Carlin whenever I watch someone trying to explain why Einstein was right by employing ideas about ‘time’ and ‘parallel dimensions’ to argue general relativity and multiverse theory 😂
I'm in the army and I'm fighting for freedom...... ??? Well if that actually worked in the last 3000 years then how come I'm NOT free yet. Maybe we need to love and cooperate I hear that works pretty good.
I went to a training today for 4 hours where the consulting firm made up this new terminology how to manage people based on a survey and I thought of this Carlin segment.
B. S. as far as show business goes is asked for by the people. They want some moronic talk show, some crazy singer or pretty silly stuff to look at while sitting on the couch in the evening. Advertising and consumerism keeps the economy going and sometimes you just want to unwind and have fun with some weird gadget you bought and have the whole unboxing experience. If you keep it under control there's nothing wrong with that kind of "bullshit".
George, on his deathbed, likely closed his eyes and thought "Well.....I tried....."
More like "well... fuck em"
You're both right
More like : "death is bullshit"
Bullshit is bullshit
He didn’t die. He passed away.
This will always be relevant.
True. Unfortunately we never learn from our Mistakes.
@Thegingerbreadm4n Oops...I deleted my comment before I saw you replied.....you are quick !
Still the best and most accurate comedy skit I've ever seen. He's so honest that he doesn't even stumble on one single word for 7 straight minutes. It takes too much time to think of a bullshit lie.
He almost did when he explained the juncture of BS. But he didnt do the um or uh. Our HERO
The man the legend the myth. Everything is bullshit
This man is the definition of a realist. I love it.
Hes the best teacher ive had in my life.if people would just listen and have just a little common sense it makes total sense.

Yes.
The expression of disbelief on his face when he says "These guys are sitting at bullshit junction" gave me tears of laughter.
Absolute legend.
"If I may be permitted a small pun" .... Priceless!
"He loves you and He needs money."
-- maybe the greatest thing ever said by anyone, anywhere, ever.
Jack Meoff That is my favorite line in this. His timing and delivery...the amount of time he puts between “he loves you” and “and he needs money” is just so perfect. Gut busting!
George RIP you said and spoke the truth you will be missed.
The man was a LEGEND!!!!! Definite influence on my critical thinking. RIP George
Im a Canadian but it's not all that different up here. George nails this! 👌
Especially now eh?
It's funny I still come back to this video about once a week or so. I guess it "centers" me XD.
Sean's Myth you still watch this every week?
George Carlin was one of the realest people to ever become famous. He found a way to talk about serious stuff by adding humor to it. Very intelligent and very well informed. Miss this guy's comedy.
MY FAV MOTTO= "same shit different day"
George Carlin was a badass.
Indeed...... ❤
He said a little bit harder and a little bit faster🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭
This really is one of his best, his delivery here is so good.
His rants about bullshit, especially business bs, always make me think about everytime I have to go and negotiate for something, especially cars. It's definitely one of the most frustrating experiences one can be involved in because these dealership assholes want to get you for everything they can.
Get a bike?
@@eastlancsesteem hence why I've always walked.
This is not even comedy....
He was spitting facts. 💯
Real talk from start to finish.
RIP George
I love this man !
Bullshit is damn everywhere... Our entire species and all what is linked to it is bullshit !
The older I get, the truer Carlin's words become.
George Carlin makes me feel calm in the face of this stressful election.
I'd say weak.
It's not naive to be concerned with something that affects you. It is naive to believe you can change it.
It's a sign of weak character not to care.
+zosorh - It's a sign of stupidity that you would suggest that, and think anyone could give less fucks that you're conceding you are weak. Whine all you want and We Don't Care.

BulletTheEnforcer elections don't matter ya dumb nuts
This man narrated Thomas the Tank Engine. Yes, I'm a railfan. He describes the bullshit I put up with from my railroad coworkers.
God I needed this today...steeped in corporate bull sh*t
The fact he was the narrator for Thomas The Tank Engine amazes me.
Same here!
The bullshit has only gotten worse since then, that is agreed. To the degree that we don't even know, and are unable to investigate said bullshit.
Right?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
L o L
sad but true reality....
7:06 he said it's Holy shi@ 😭😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
1:55 - My favorite "bullshit" George Carlin ever said.
Wisest men that had the balls to call shit the way it is in this fucked up world we live in!!!!!
iimm an honeest maan. BULLSHIT... the way he said that is so hilarious
I could listen to Carl all fucking day.....
It's a part of "George Carlin - 40 Years Of Comedy" - 1997. "You Are All Diseased" is from year 1999.
Oh the wisdom of St.George :O
This is just pure gold, the definition of the word “woke”
Why does he have to be so right?
WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE SO RIGHT?!
The moral of the story is critical thinking goes a long ways
I quote this almost daily. This skit will never not be relevant.
Bullshit is what keeps us on our toes.
God doesn't need money. People do.
Sometimes people think that bullshit only comes from certain places.
NOT TRUE
😂😂 🤣
We need George and Bill Hicks back
Absolutely dead on. What an outstanding perspective of the truth. This is art!
I think Jon Stewart's final monologue was a tribute to George Carlin, who appeared on his show before he started hosting The Daily Show. I wish Jon Stewart will come back to television. We need him now more than ever.
We need him more than fucking Trevor Noah.
Jon Stewart couldn't have held Carlin's cock. Jon Stewart is total garbage.
Jon Stewart was too partisan. I appreciate someone who goes after all groups equally than one who just focuses on one political party, and usually it was just Fox News

I Love'm...No Bullshit.
His comedy strategy was blatantly obvious and simple that no one noticed:
Expose the Irony.
Carlin was a genius. When he says if a politician was honest, he'd throw everything off....reminds of Trump. Wow. So true.

since 30 years ago .
What would he say today?
this one of the greatest men ever. It took him 5 minutes for me to love him. I wanted to meet him about time someone has the same viewpoint as me too bad he died.
'I'm not a crook'
BULLSHIT
Carlin and Stanhope....the best.

How fitting that after a video about bullshit, the first suggested related video that pops up is a Nickelback song.
Greatest of all time.
Yes Guys Bullshit Is EveryWhere In America

The best of the best. St. Carlin.
without bullshit than the whole world is boring
in my opinion:not boring, but not functioning....
I love you for this upload.
i come here annually to keep what little sanity i have left.
The two priorities that produce the most amount of bullshit for the least amount of effort:
* Protect the Institution from Embarrassment at all costs to everyone and everything except the Institution.
* Substitute "Institution" above with "My paycheck."
This man definitely is speaking facts
George would have been the best president of the United States
Absolutely. Easily. By far. If he had the chance.
AMEN TO THE ONE "OUT THE BOX" GEORGE CARLIN X
Of course man at his base is sane, wise, kind, humble and honest BUT in order to play the game and have the game of "life" he stays involved in shit. Otherwise he would be bored.
Greed

Reading through the comments and realize people still did not get the point he was making. Are there that many people in 2018 who still have no clue what is going on??
6:06 that guy in the audience lost it
I can go home, and I won't have to worry about bullshit for a little while, even though there's bullshit everywhere. XD
As long as you don't go on the Internet or turn on the tv
+Julia Maison Reyes or listen to the radio
Yes, BS is everywhere... especially between Carlin's ears. HA! -- JD
I immediately think about this timeless skit from Carlin whenever I watch someone trying to explain why Einstein was right by employing ideas about ‘time’ and ‘parallel dimensions’ to argue general relativity and multiverse theory 😂

No one makes me laugh harder than George Carlin.
This is a great TED Talk
He was awesome!
George was trying to warn us.
I wish more people listened.
