that a nice name for the two pigs“Biscuit & Gravy”
I LOVE those names!!
sylvain roy - Haha, I was going to say "potatoes and gravy". : )
The chickens all watching while the pigs are let out of the cage has got to be the funniest thing I've seen all day...haha
Al will need to build some bleachers for the next event. LOL
Chickens and the gang 😂
Chocolate Chip and Vanilla Creme. CC and VC
Pork and Beans. Beans is the spotted one.
Ham & Hock
Suggested names for the new pigs: "Jambon" (French for Ham) & "Lardon" (French for Bacon).
“Biscuit & Gravy”!
Liked your names better than mine lol 👍
I third that would be great Biscuit and Gravy may God continue to bless your family and your homestead sending love from NJ
Biscuit and Gravy are great names.
Scrapel and saguage
Hey, I like that. Biscuit and gravy.
Being from England only 2 names you can call them Bangers and Mash great show never let's us down for content 👍🇬🇧
I'm from UK to ..North Norfolk coast, keep safe and well Gray
Me to.. England.😁🇬🇧
Great names 🇬🇧🇬🇧
I miss your daily videos.....going thru withdrawals.
"Biscuit" & "Gravy"! I love how the chickens and Figaro supervise all the happenings on the homestead. Someone needs to manage the farm help (you & Gina)! Blessings to all.
Sage and Pepper - are my suggestions for the pigs. Both needed for great sausage!
They look like Cinnamon & Sugar to me. :-)
I know you wanted food names but..one pig has a dot on its back the other is spotted .So the names I have for them Is Spot and Dot.🌻
Here are for you two exotic names for the pig ladies: "CALTABOSH" and "SHUNKA". These are two traditional pork products from Romania, EU. Have a great year!
Ham and hocks sound like good names for the piglets.
juicy and delicious
Living Traditions built a platform to put their feeder on. Keeps the food area from being churned mud and keeps the feeder level. The chicken welcoming committee, checking out the pigs was so funny.
Putting pig gear on pallets helps with many things from moving them when full to having them not move when the critters get bigger.
Piggy name suggestions...
Hermione Hamhock
Kevin Bacon
I like those names
David Davis ~ You sound like a "Weed 'Em & Reap" fan to me, lol! Kevin on that farm LOVES their pigs, Ron and Hermione.
Cookie and Cream, Bacon and Eggs, Ham and Eggs, Pork and Beans, Ham and Beans. Gotta stop. I'm getting hungry again already.
When you were talking about bacon, I thought...Maple and Brown Sugar!
Tripe and Trotters for names for them hogs.... That would be my suggestion
Good morning from Colorado. I was thinking Sugar and Maple for the pig names because they are sweet little piglets.
Love how the chicken are waiting at the door for you to feed them. They’re saying feed me I’m hungry.
Morning Lumnah's, great hack with the string and washer Al. Bubble and Squeak for the pigs.
They are so calm☺️salt and pepper would be cute😀
Good morning, that was so funny all the old lady chickens standing around watching. The names I thought of are Barbie Q, and Bacon Bits.
Q and Bits.
Bacon and Bits.
I thought I saw three more pigs being put in another cage. What happened to them? Ethel and Lucy, Sally and Ella, Josie and Arabella, Fancy and Nancy
Al picked up the other three for a friend.
We have to travel about 600 miles for feeder pigs. So when I go I pick up piglets for a couple of friends, and we split the fuel cost.
I wondered about that too.
@@barbarabrand190 Good to know, I was curious, thought you all either lost 3 on the way; or got hungry on the way home.
Oh, I love Honey and Glaze, that Catherine suggested.!
I love that!! Especially if they are female!!
Suggestion for any surplus eggs. See simple living alaska on RUclips for recent episode in pickling eggs
Hammy and Sammich sound like delicious names
Good morning from Dublin, Ireland. Gammon and Rashers for the pigs.
Define gammon and rashers - what does that mean? We're not privy to your vernacular on this side of the pond.
How about the name oragifel that's LE-FIGERO spelled backwards..... and elatgip that's pigtale spelled backwards....or name one serca the other hanmul that's Lumah Acres spelled backwards....lol..... Reverend Paul M Vining Sr. Eustis, Florida......
I have a couple of names. Chitlin and Sirloin. Squeal,
is a good name too. The old saying is, the only part of a pig you can't eat is the squeal.
Or the oink😊
Hello All...Never miss you guys... We've grown to love ya...lol And are in with ya guys every step of the way..on all your new adventures ...all of it...yippi...sizzle...and drizzle...lol ya know the bacon sizzling..and that pork gravy drizzling over ...mashed potatoes etc...

..Friends in Pa.
Rice & Beans (with the black spots), names for the piglets, all the way from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Ok what happened, I clearly saw you put 5 pigs on that truck but you only have 2 what happened to the other 3 pigs??????
I'm thinking the same thing
Can you do a video to introduce us to all your goats. I only know Hope.
Could you please use some kind of microphone so that we can hear you better?
Hard of hearing Bill
Love what you are doing God bless
How about Porky and Bess, from Nepean, Ontario, Canada, keep up the great work sorry you had to vut back to 3 videos a week we miss the early morning banter..
Alan, Good to see another Nepeanite watching the program with me, we are in the Manordale/Wooddale area. Cheers
The names should be HAM and Spam both are piggy products. Please let me know. Myself and my wife love your show and watch with anticipation for the next.
😹😹all I can think of is Peaches and Cream😹😹😹
I thought of the same names! Great minds think alike!
@@debrabrown4699 😹😹yep they sure do😹😹
I had to laugh when the video opened and there was fresh snow covering everything, then just like that! The next day came and the snow was gone again. Your weather can be crazy at times in NH!
It's April. Never worry about an April snow. Melted the next day unless it's over 6 inches. Then it takes two days.
The person you bought your blue drum from should be able to get some, as you call them, pickle drums . The business I bought mine from didn't even know he could get them till he started asking his suppliers.
Hi Al..I was wondering what happened with the proscuitto you were curing in your cold room from a couple of years ago when hand hewn boys came over. What about the rest of the charcuterie you started? Just curious. Thanks ..we love the channel. 🐷🐖
Crispy and Crackling are great additions to the farm and look like they’re settling in fast!
Chickens "there go the neighborhood" 😆
👍👍💞
Thelma & Louise and I could have ate that whole bowl of corn chowder guys are doing great
You should have left the bottom fence wire under the pig feeder. Now they can push the corners away from feeder.
Agreed
Pickles and Peaches layin in the sun
waitin for Al and Gina and all that LUMNAH Fun!
Petunia.
Porfect.
Gooooooooood mernin'!
Morning T!
Gooooood morning
@@daviddavis703 Morning Travin, have a wonderful day!!
@@daviddavis703 Mornin! 👋
@Forrest Gump Mornin! ✌
Now that was the funny when Gina said, '' Oh My God! He's looking for it already ! '' LOL
OH MY GOSH...IS WHAT GINA SAID!!!LOL!!!!SHE'S LOOKING FOR IT ALREADY!!!!!
Jambalaya and Boudin (Boo-dan) is all this Cajun can think of.

AL was just thinking that a farm is not a farm with out pigs lol
That is true
Agree ..yummy
Omg cuties. Laughed at the chickens watching there new neighbors. 🤣
Good morning from County Durham 🇬🇧 xx Sausage and mash for pig names? Or bangers & mash? Hot dog & mustard?
Bangers and Mash, English delicacy I miss in Germany
SALT AND PEPPER? Make the one with black spots pepper
I like Catherine's names for the piglets, Honey and Glaze. Loved the video, Al and Gina. Supper looked so good.
The filming , editing , and over all videos are becoming better and better all the time. Lumnah's stepping up your game! Nice job guys.. (hint for video a day behind the video with the Lumnah's)
Thanks
Need external mikes to hear them talk better
I would wire the feeder to the fence panels with some chain link bottom wire. That would make it as secure as the fence panels themselves. I would do the same thing with the water barrel. I also would have left the bottom wire on the panel uncut. You can still put a piece of that galvanized wire under it to hold the panel together.
Hi. I saw when you got your pigs that you loaded up 5. You only put 2 in your pen, so what happened to the other 3. Just curious.
Lumnah Acres said in an earlier reply ”I had a friend who went with me. He got 3 of them”
@@tonygrimes13 Thanks for that, I must have missed that bit.
The audio on this video is really bad. Could bearly hear y'all. You need to look into wearable microphones
So funny to see the chickens coming around to say hi
I was wondering if maybe figaro was sneaking into the pug pin while the pigs were sleeping and getting a goodnight snack 😂🥰💐
Ham and cheese. God bless.
Fantastic video, the pigs are cute love the curly tail. Maybe call them Curly & Mo
Good morning from Palawan Philippines....Kebab and Stew!!
Love these two names
How about DINNER & SUPPER for the 🐖 names.
Chickens let's go meet our new neighbors.😂😂😂
Names for pigs...Bangers n Mash a great British hearty Dinner ( bangers = pork sausages)
Cheeto and Frito....yall have a blessed day
I was thinking the exact same names. You beat me to it.
I second! those names Shirley. Great pick. They rhyme too!
Sage and Onion names for the pigs as they are both good flavourings for pork. 😁
Saw you load 5 pigs. But at home only 2. Just curious where the other 3 went? Lol
A friend.
Bacon
We are really enjoying the views we see on your trips to town and other places. Donna asks if you can share more of stuff like that.
My favorite part is at 25:53 , now that is one very happy Pluto ! :-)
👍🐷🐷 Good morning all.
The wee pigs like you folks already. 🙌🙌
Chowder is one thing I have never made. Eaten yes. It's so easy. 😊 Yummy.
How about "ham" and " ribs"? 🤷♀️
Have a great day. 👍👍
Ham and Cheese
Those are the most tame pigs I've ever seen..!!! New environment and Not One Squeal👍🏾
The nosey chickens lined up down the fence checking the pigs out cracked me up. Lol.
The chickens are saying “there goes the neighborhood”
I'm thinking you should've left the bottom strand intact where you cut the panel for the feeder. I miss y'all on your off days. Lo e the channel!
I’m thinking he should wire strap it to the fencing to keep it from swaying. And rebar on the sides also.
I like Pepperoni for one and Pizza for the other as well.......and I like Honey for one and Glaze for the other
pepperoni and cheese would be nice
Love the newest homesteaders...Pancake and Syrup!
Barbi and Que seems like a good set of names.
Al if you dont know what scrapple is look it up. Old school cooking making by product of leftovers from your hogs
We used to have that sometimes for breakfast. I think it's still sold?
Good morning from Central Scotland
Gooooood Morning
Good morning David!
The chickens are welcome the pigs that's so wonderful making them feel like home.
How about Tater and Chip or Curly and Fries or Salt and Pepper? Love the updates.
or Tater and Tot ?
Pancetta and Tocino ( they both mean bacon. In Italian and Spanish)
Did I imagine it or did you load 5 piglets into the back of your truck? For names how about "Rasher" and "Chops"
He said in another comment that the other three he picked up for his friend.
I was thinking the same thing and then thought he might have picked them up for a friend.
@@SpotsOnBob HI, okay, i obviously missed that, thanks for confirmng
Pork and Chops, Sue and Wee good names for pigs.
I’m saddened that you’re not using the pig mobile as the pigs will no longer have shade in the summer heat.
He could get one of those "shade cloths" and put in the corner over the plastic bin possibly. ;)
I was wondering the same thing--especially with all the time, effort and materials that went into making it. I must have missed the video where he talked about it. What did he say was the problem with it?
@@debnjosie It seems like he said it was top-heavy and he was afraid to move it around back there because the ground was so uneven. Maybe someone else can remember something else. I just remember when he moved it after they harvested the other pigs, that it teetered precariously when he moved it.
I remember he couldn’t get the door to unlatch. So he needed to refigure for that. Al will figure a solution.
Suggestion: Put T posts on both sides of the feeder against the fence to make that part of the fence more ridged. As the pigs get bigger, as you know, they'll get pushier at the feeder.
Good Morning Everybody from Enniskillen, Ireland.
Good morning Tony!
☕️☕️
@@daviddavis703 Back to 2nd I see!!! Good morning David.
