It's happening all over the world. Look at the north and south poles. There will have to be change or else it will get werse.
It will be a few days before America realizes the breadth and scope of this disaster in the Smokies.
All Americans need to mobilize and support these devastated communities.

My family and I lived for many years in Asheville, NC. One of my daughters was born there. I am heartbroken seeing the complete devastation and overwhelming sense of loss. Prayers for all. Please God, keep everyone safe and give them strength to move forward. Much love to all. God bless
We had some bad weather here in East Tennessee
A really good investment would be a whole house backup generator. Really a must for living on the farm. I put one in a few years ago, and I don’t worry about power failures anymore.
I bought a whole house generator big enough to take care of my house and 3 out buildings. That was one of the best investments I’ve made just for the peace of mind.
From about 11:00PM Tuesday night until Noon on Friday we received 11 inches of rain in Cornelius, NC (just north of Charlotte)
I pray people find high ground, are safe and come through well. We are in GA and lost out power Thursday night and got it back Sunday afternoon. we got 5.5" of rain in 36 hours.
All the people that have been in harms way from the hurricane and tornadoes are certainly in my prayers!!🙏🏼🙏🏼
We've been staged in Huntsville for a few days already. We've flown in diapers and formula as well as clothing from Wichita twice to help the relief effort. I was contacted last night by someone trapped at a BnB that is several miles from the main road. They have helipads on the property but were having trouble getting anyone to come. I have a midsize business jet that can carry up to 7 passengers and 1200 lbs of cargo. We flew over Lake Norman and its looks like a mud hole its so dirty and you can see where roads are blocked or washed away. From the air the devistation is just horrible. We need lots of prayers and as much help as they can get. Yes I agree from what Ive saw so far it is a repeat of Katrina. Im here from Colorado waiting on any word that someone needs something. My daughters has been flying since she was 13 and she's right here next to me to fly of help carry supplies etc. Everyone check on friends and neighbors the best you can. It's difficult without cell service or electricity but Prayer goes a long way too. Come together and help bring people to safety while staying safe yourself. Proverbs 4:23 says " Above all else guard your hear for everything you do flows from it "
Meredith, my buddy up Sparta had 19 inches rain ,,trees tore down all his fences , he has a bunch of cows he can’t find out ,,,here in Alexander county we had 14 inches in three days
Little I don't understand about you people your summers are green. Northern California where there's a lot of crops.
Agriculture they get no rain.
And now they got to deal with their fires. Your fires contained a dried leaves burning. The same as here in Missouri where live. I grew up in Northern California late fifties. To the late 90s.. depend on the Lord to water your grass feels. When all you got to do is drill a hole in the ground. Irrigation system. But that means manual hard work. Like I used to do with a kid.
So glad you escaped major damage! Here in Missouri we're having record corn harvest! Sad thing that prices don't match and no place to take it!! My son works for Agri Services company which is located by the Missouri River and said they'll get 2 barges this week but won't be enough! Prayers your crop will survive! Prayers for all who have been affected by the hurricane!

Our God is an Awesome God! He Reigns from Heaven Above! God is in Control of all the details. May God be Glorified through this and may those affected seek Him and become closer to Him. God brings these trials and tribulations into our lives to test us and to grow and mature us. Why don't you's get a back up generator? mine starts 5sec. After power goes out. And shuts off when power comes back on.

We are and will be praying for all those who have been impacted by this storm. The impact of this horrible storm will be felt for many years to come. It will soon fade from the news cycle but not from the lives of those who live it on a daily basis so our prayers need to continue. Blessings all.

Thanks for your thoughts. My brothers, mom, and extended family live in Hendersonville just south of Asheville. My brother said it was bad. No electricity for 10 to 20 days but thankfully they have generators. A local tourist attraction, Chimney Rock (near lake Lure) was pretty much wiped off the map. Going to take weeks to get back to normal and months/years to rebuild. Luckily all are well for now. l am 62 and have never seen or heard of anything like that in my life.
Now Meredith. Don't give up. It's not the end of the world. You all will make it. I have faith in Jesus Christ.You will make it. God bless Lawrence.

In the past at the upper Texas Gulf coast we have been through hurricane Rita...Harvey..and as a result had extensive damage and loss...one must be strong ...the strong will survive ..
Sometimes the events in life can be devastating, we can pray for the ones effected, and hope for a better tomorrow. I know how Lawerance is thinking, but you can’t change things by worrying. 90% of the times, it’s time waisted, and just damages your health.
Another Christian family I follow is Cog Hill Farm on RUclips. They are out of Alabama. But anyway they had those same kudzu bugs on their beans and he had to destroy his crop. Those little bugs are terrible. I know this is not a good time, but I believe you need to hear about them.
So many small towns in NC that are just washed away, so many missing and reports of so many dead, and many washed away. Sunday night still rescuing by helicopter as communities are trapped with no water, electric or cell. The geography and rivers have been reshaped in many places. My heart is broken for my state here in NC, and all other locations hit hard too. Thus hurricane is one for the record books. And even though my side if the state was spared, sadly the town close to me was hit by a tornado and my parents friend lost her restaurant, and other buildings damaged with 15 people hurt. Its just crazy as i see and hear more and more affected. We have some people trapped out west, but safe. Praying so hard for everyone

My aunt lives in S Carolina & she has damage , but nothing that cant be replaced ..
She's safe (without power) and thats the main thing.
My nephew ‘s wife found out today her mother was swept away in a mud slide on Friday and her father is in bad shape in the mountains . Her brother has walked up the mountain and found him who had to dig himself out of the mud and rubble. PTL they are believers. The national guard is hoping to air lift the 5 who survived tomorrow. All we can do is pray.
Here in middle Ga I got 8 1/2 inches of rain in about 24 hours. Got 6 inches on Wed. night. Didn't get the wind that was forcast so thankful for that. Few trees down and LOT of water. No electricity since 5 am Thurs morning. Tenn. hit hard.

Asheville is cut off, people are flying to get out. I just pray for those still stuck and the animals 🙏

A word of advice to all; my brother is caught in the middle of all of the destruction in the mountains. He said businesses, the ones that are open, are only taking cash payments. Fortunately, he kept a reserve of cash at home. Something we all may want to consider in this electronic age.

Saturday I went to the Bright leaf hoedown and it was not anyway like it used to be. Of course I am now 82 years old and it is harder for me to walk around. It's the first time I have been in several years and the last time I will attend. I will wait for some of the stew sales like the one in Providence coming up on the 19th. I was however looking forward to meeting you and your children, but I see why you did not plan on it. Have a good one, and I am a big fan of your show.

The pictures on TV show the devastation in NC, Tennessee towns, it's horrible.
It hit us about one am Friday not much rain but bad wind. Lost a lot of trees but no building were damaged. We are blessed.
