First, I'm so glad you're all OK. I'm sorry about your gate and the basement and the other losses, but with you and the animals safe, I bet your family is really relieved to know you're ok. All I could think of was your beautiful new kitchen, and how high up was your house on the land, and on and on.
You guys, Ben and Meg of Hollar Homestead, and Jess of Roots and Refuge are all ok, and I love all you guys. We've been through much flooding here in Vermont since July 10, 2023. I'm very sad to hear of the damage to Asheville.
❤🩹💖
Yes, the pigs will love it! So glad y’all are safe!
Thanks for the update. Been thinking of you guys.
Good day from Kamakura. Japan 🇯🇵! I’m relieved to see that you all have survived the storm. Stay safe and get some rest. 🙏🏿🤩🐶
We had prayers out for your family and Ben’s
So happy to see that no one got hurt and your animals are ok. Much love to you and all your neighbors!!❤❤
When you all moved in, there was puddling and standing water all over the place. Since then, you've done a lot of pasture repair and the ground is generaly more accepting or absorbing of water. Imagine the MESS if you jadnt been working on pasture, soil, a d sjface water repair!
So glad you are all ok. Just saw Ben & Meg are ok. Nothing from the Rhodes though.
The Rhodes are safe and well. They lost the turkeys and bees, high tunnel and lower garden. Water came close to the big house but not in. Big Daddy and grandma are ok also h just cut off from Justin and Becky until the road clears.
Rhodes posted on A+…they are ok..lost lower pastures, the turkeys lower garden and high tunnel. Everyone is ok will be weeks for power restoration for them..they are in one of the hardest hit areas❤
@@jeanninewakefield4630 Oh my! Sorry to hear that but it’s a relief to learn they’re ok. Thank you for sharing. They must have some wifi/data connection to be able to post their update on A+ which is reassuring in the event of an LoD emergency. I imagine the boys are utilising their honed skid steer and tractor skills helping to clear downed trees and neighbours.
Was concerned about the pond dam. It could have been a catastrophic disaster if it hadn’t held.
Thanks for sharing & thank God you’re all okay. Blessings to all 🤗🇨🇦
@donnamays24 thank you for posting about Justin and family.
🌺So thankful you all are ok and your homestead. 🙏for you!
You should probably use the generator for the freezers.
I was so glad to see this video being posted. Very glad you are safe. Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to let people know. Continued prayers for everyone in the path of this storm.
Thankful that y'all are fine with little damage...nothing you can't fix. Lord blessed.
You guys are such nice people. Your demeanor during all this says it all! Hang in there!

Been wondering how you were fairing saw hollers were okay 🎉now you must check out calico next love your videos Pete cape Town south Africa 🇿🇦
Wow, all those power lines and poles down! Hurricane Helene caused so much damage over a huge area of the Southeast. Thank goodness you have a generator(s) for the freezers full of meat. This is just like when we have bad snow storms up here in Maine and the power is out for days. You have to think ahead and be prepared. I love that your pigs don't mind the rain at all. 😃 Take care and stay safe, especially around those trees that are still leaning and unstable. ❤🙏
Thanks so much for posting because I have been worried, especially seeing the images out of Ashville.
Our prayers are with you all during this ordeal. I know there is so much to doting bring things back to the way it was, but God is with you always. He will keep you safe and protected. 🙏
Thank God yall ok we live in Florida we ok
