Hi guys! Regardless of how many eggs you put in it, if it has potatoes, it is a potato salad! Egg salad is a sandwich spread, made of finely chopped eggs, mayo, salt, pepper. Some people add chopped pickles or other things. 🙂
Gina - I’ve always added lots of eggs to our potato salad. Mine is a mixture of potatoes, eggs, sweet pickles and onions. Our boys love it (always asked to omit the onion and when I did “this doesn’t taste right”)so back in went the onion-haha) Can’t wait to learn the pig names! I choose Brisket and sparerib or Miss Ham and Miss Hock. Love you guys
Thats potato salad with extra egg. I also noticed that she put in what appeared to look like pickles, I love my potato salad with dill relish and a hint of mustard. I'm sure the homemade mayo makes it even better.
Awesome good day of work!! Everyone [ animals included ] looks so happy!! Chef Gina potatoe egg salad lookd great!! Olivia is such a sweetheart!! God bless all!!
I plant some garlic in the spring, you harvest it as shoots after the greens get 12-18 inches tall. They are wonderful raw or to cook with, the bulb doesn't split so it's one clove but you use the whole thing just trim and toss the roots, then chop or slice the rest thin and throw it in the pan. They dehydrate well too. It only takes a few weeks and would hold you over until your garlic bulbs are ready.

Gina, I learned an awesome trick for getting eggs to peel easily. Add about a 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to your water before you add the eggs for boiling. The shells peel off without any trouble!

Wasp nest trick: preasure washer with soap setting... have at it. The soap suds kill the wasps on contact, the water pressure keeps them away from you, and the water pressure destroys the nest. I tried this on a similar sized nest and within 5 mins... lots of dead wasps, no nest, and no stings!
Add chopped hotdog cubes or cooked pork cubes, some finely chopped celery, chopped pickles, some of the pickle juice, finely chopped raw onions and you've got a (eggy) German potato salad.

Roosters can be ornery. I dont like to grab them either because they have spurs and can kick hard. And not to mention their beaks are sharp.

For a nest that size I would bring in/consult professional help and this old Marine fears nothing except yellow jackets and paper wasps. Surprised they have not been noticed before getting that large a hive.
We call them Bald Faced Hornets in Oregon... I've been stung by one in a very sensitive area and Not a pleasant experience. Be careful. 🙂
I use eggs also a little bit of yellow mustard, shallots, Hellmanns, yukon golds. Going to try making your mayo recipe.
See you in the morning... Warming up!
Glad to hear your warming up in Alaska
I simply love how the chickens rule the farm. They just go where they wish. Very nice.
Thanks for taking your hat off at the table.
Why?. Man's opinion?, not biblical. So, self serving.

Good morning! 😊 I don’t like clipping chicken wings either. Something daunting and intimidating indeed to catch the chicken and pick it up and then wrestle with them to clip their wing. And then they flap like crazy as you want to let them go! Lol 😂
Howdy Agnes!
Gooooood Morning glad I’m not the only one. 😆
@@samvalentine3206 evening Sam ☺️
I always only clip one wing. Makes them off balance. Not sure that clipping both wings will give you the desired effect.
Listen again at 11:47 for Al's reasons.
