    Once that part is done could more rounds be added. Would it be all double crochet as in a regular granny square? I'd like bigger squares.

    Before I found your video I found another but I got discouraged bc 1. She made a magic loop w/out demonstrating and then right after that she said this isn't for beginners you shouldnt make granny squares. I'm a beginner (literally started the other night) and I was able to make 4 granny squares in two hours because of your video and from others that didn't discourage beginners to not do it bc it's "hard"

    How would I do another row

    • @amberburrow4101
      @amberburrow4101  5 лет назад

      I would do 3 double crochet in each "hole" followed by a chain 1, and repeat. For the corners, do 3 double crochet, chain 2, then 3 more double crochet.

    How many skiens of each color would be needed to make a throw/lap blanket

    • @amberburrow4101
      @amberburrow4101  5 лет назад +1

      I used this pattern for a shawl, and I ended up needing 1 skein of brown ( I have quite a bit still left over) 2 skeins of yellow, and then 2 skeins of white. For a blanket, I would recommend that amount to be tripled, so 2 skeins of brown (because I had some left over)
      6 of yellow
      6 of what ever border color you choose to do. I hope this helps!

    Do you have the written pattern. I am having a hard time getting the outside of the flower to be a square.

    • @rachaelsteven7071
      @rachaelsteven7071 4 года назад

      You've probably made it by now but were you putting the second triple crochets into the next hole rather than the same one on the corner parts? That's what I did at first til I figured out what was going on 😂 How'd you get on?
