As one of the lighting crew at Eden Court, i had the amazing experience of working on all of the Sounds of Eden gigs. It has to be said that Deacon Blue were truly top of their game and that particular night was buzzing. We put in some bumper hours that week but every single one of them was a pleasure and a joy to be oart off
Desert eagle. My brothers funeral song. October 6th 2022. He had cancer. Aged 54.my younger bro. He used to say it reminded him of our dad. He was a worker for the council. He had been for 20 years. My dad didn't even know why my brother picked this song until I told him.
There's a man up our street who told me .... Given that you work for the council ....have you heard the masterpiece by a band called Deacon Blue and DIGNITY.
I saw them in Bournemouth last month. They really are that good live. And there was a great performance from 2013 Hogmanay at Stirling on BBC Four a few weeks back, which was really amazing.
Classic DB again, especially the Bruce Springsteen bit near the end 😉 Makes me wish I could go back about 30 odd years in time and see that line up again...
Class the 80s music was the best decade of them all 💚💚💚
My favourite song of all time.
Excellent, fantastic performance, the good old days, fans that behave, no mobile phones and no visible security ❤👏👏👏
Spot on bro
Take us back!...please!....when sanity prevailed
Stay safe be good and finally Thank you all.
❤
And no ear pieces to cheat live performances
No hoodies,no man bags, no attitude, no smart phone. People enjoying the moment.❤
Not sure were the hoodie comment comes from, plenty of them in 89 , must be a personal thing fella
