The Honda Elevate made its debut in India on June 6, 2023.
Key Features:
Exterior:
The SUV's exterior showcases Honda's signature grille, accompanied by sleek LED headlamps and DRLs. Its side profile highlights a sporty and robust appearance with flared almost-square wheel arches and thick plastic cladding. The rear features a distinct tailgate design, LED taillamps, and a freshly designed rear bumper.
Interior:
Inside the Elevate's cabin, you'll find a dual-tone interior theme with beige upholstery. The dashboard boasts a tall-standing 10.25-inch infotainment screen equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a seven-inch digital driver's display on the right side. Additionally, the vehicle includes a single-pane sunroof.
Engine, Performance, and Specifications:
Powering the Elevate is a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine producing 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a CVT unit. Moreover, Honda has confirmed plans to launch an all-electric SUV based on the Elevate within the next three years.

Details regarding the available variants and color options are yet to be disclosed.
Safety:
The safety ratings for the Honda mid-size SUV have not been tested at this time.

This is Creta and Seltos size car in-fact more spacious and most powerful in NA engine.
Sunroof is not for our tropical climate in india we should avoid sun and rain on roof
Suzuki Grand vitara is a worth for money vehicle.Elevate is also nice suv.

No way this can accommodate 3 tall guys in the rear seats. It is meant for 2 adults and one small kid. Driving comfort and visibility, driver seat positioning, seat comfort for passengers are superb.

As a owner of elevate since 6 months there are few things which makes daily driving not easy - 1. Lack of under tigh support in the front seats and lack of foot area this cause pain in the tight and ankle after long drive 2. please dont take the dual tone as during hot summer - the area around the sun roof area gets super hot in summer even with the sun roof cover you will feel the heat on top of your head while driving and after few hrs both the front passengers will feel the heat and you will be exhuasted after driving. I am not able to find the solution to this and i am disappointed with the lack of engineering skills being executed in this car
Thanks for the practical review. Maybe you can use colouring or white vinyl sheets as an option to save you from heat
i was able to improve the under tigh support and lower back support. I took the car to a seat fabricator, and he added extra firm foam in the under tigh area and lumbar support area now the seat feels like a recliner. I am very happy with this solution.
After owning honda elevate zx cvt top model
Pros- bootspace, comfort, sedate driving milege (highway 15kmpl+)
Cons- tank capacity 40 ltr, if u have daily running of more than 100 km and it's City heavy traffic milege will vary from 9 to 12kmpl. So frequent visit to petrol pump is required
Can you please guide us on the sound or engine nouse on highway post 80kmph?
@@anivash007 yes there will b engine noise post 90kmph coming inside cabin but it's manageable by increasing music system sound hehe, noise insulation is not good in this car
@@008uzumaki thanks for your reply. Really appreciate. I am planning to buy a mid size SUV. I am more inclined toward Elevate as Creta/ Nexon are like very common in the road with their own pros and cons. I am in dialema between KIA seltos vs Honda Elevate

To clear some of the dilemma below is a checklist
1.service centre in closer premises, should not be far away above 10/20km and also check google reviews of the same
2.your daily/monthly running in km. If it's significantly higher go for kia as there are multiple engine option with better milege
3.require more features- go for kia
For everything else honda should be ideal

Elevate is 3rd class car released by Honda. Don't go on these reviews. I personally drove it for a week.
Body is like Maruti, its suspension is very soft, even in small pot holes it jumps like anything, engine is lacking power.

Bhai saaf saaf batao 18 me accesories ke sath padi hogi baki 15.9 =16 Lakh showroom price + onroad ke jo lage honge wo bhi ap kam karwa sakte ho thoda bolna padta hai force karna padta hai 50k to 70k kam kar dete hai wo log + accesories kisi bhi companies ki mahwngi hi hoti hai usme hi kamai hoti hai har companies ki to total sari accesories kuch 80 to 89 thousands me padti hai isse achha kuch kuch jaroori lagaiye jaise vantilated seats from honda or covers rwhne do aftermarket koi 10k me achha hoga to bana hi dega apki choice ka systum wala seat cover or bumper protector bhi jaroori hai but agar aftwr market same mil rha ho saste me to fir honda ka na lagwao wo thoda paisa bachega but procettors jaroor lagaye or same hona chaiye sab baki koi b chiz aftermarket bhi na lagaye .... or baat hai ki isse jaroori air pressure monitoring or air pump lelo or koi philips ka dash cam ya sony or koi branded ka budget wala . Kyunki honda ka ata hai philips ka 10k me to usse achha isse kqm rate me inside out aide wala lelo .

Sunroofs for Indian conditions and MENTALITY are very unsafe!
When i see people allowing their kids to stand on their seat to come out of the sunroof, while the car is in motion...it infuriates me...how can people be so careless about safety of their kids...these are the same people who would be angry with the car manufacturers for not providing enough safety features!
I want to buy a car, but non of these top models come without Sunroof...i would prefer a 360° camera or front and rear dashcam over sunroof!

Yes, you can individually turn on /off adas related features so it's very good at that

@@vijuvlogs but there is a catch if you go in traffic it automatically engages collision mitigation and might suddenly break if you are not attentive enough and also you have to be careful about cars coming from behind also when you turn off the car and again turn on it then all adas feature turn on everytime so you have to everytime turn them off as per your wants

For MT
CITY Smooth - 15.9 to 17.5
CITY Rough or bumper to bumber - 9.59 to 14
Highway Smooth - 19-23
Highway Rough - 16.5 to 19
CVT gives you better mileage on highways and city if you drive carefully
This car built quality is far lower than Honda city , cabin is too noisy due to engine sound. kindly ignore this if you can stretch go for hyryder or for less Nexon is far better
agree or disagree , creta or seltos r far better engine wise (refinement) and luxury wise too time will fade this car , definetly a flop launch by honda

1.5L Earthdream Turbo IVTEC is not cheap bro, its extreme engineered, not like other brands, hope we will get that soon .
Turbo engine have lifespan issues with reliability.
@@Rohitbedi20 tubro engines if maintained properly do around 4-5 lakh kilometers.. so if you want a taxi their lifespan is less.. like NA is around 10 lakh kms on proper maintainence otherwise all the premium cars come with turbo engines only..

@@SPYZ_BORAH Honda is dead in India, the product lineup is bare minimum because Honda doesn't have money from Japan to invest more in India and elsewhere and therefore, I mentioned about Japan. Suzuki's biggest market is India but Honda's biggest market is still Japan and the US, and both markets are doing poor.

@@manishtripathi3489 looks are subjective. I find front shape of grand vitara like it's a potato. Moreover maruti interior is very cheap anyways. And i not talking abour drag races here, but grand vitara has a dead engine as per its size. You have to press full accelerator and still it takes a lot of time to pick up. You dont want drag race but also dont want bullock cart, you also need to take sudden overtakes in some situation which it cannot do. And whats the point of AWD when it loses its steam for those terrain, it doesnt have that pulling torque. Moreover suzuki is contradicting itself by claiming it as a mileage machine and simultaneously not giving 6 gear.

You elevate, don't have that torque to be frank....its pretty average car...yes, the top end is little better. But who cares if someone needs power from his car...he will buy a turbo not that so called ivtec....so stop daydreaming and ask honda to do something about sales....its doesnot matter a car having 5 gears or 6....its gear ratio. Most cars in this segment cruse at the same speeds at approx same rpm....
Moreover elevate looks like a big S Presso...so yes looks are subjective thats why people are running away from it

I find gv looks shitty but i cant impose that opinion to everyone. Elevate has some shortcomings and they should work on that but I can also say although maruti being top leader will not be able to compete in premium segment and gv cannot stand against creta in next 10 years and gv is just an average car with poor interior, visibility and engine. And i dont know why if ivtec is more puchier than gv than you start talking about drag race etc. By your logic grand vitara should be fine with baleno engine as well. A person who buys an NA engine over turbo buys it for peace of mind. Your behaviors in general is immature.
Engine and cabin noise is more. Horns sound is very poor. Plastic quality of front grill is poor. Paint finish quality is poor inside bonnet. No 3rd major adult person can sit on rear seat due to hump. Mileage is bad. Dealers are arrogant and dominating and interested in force selling of insurance on double premium, extended warranty, accessories etc. Accessories are too costly. Other major good features are also missing. Only media hype and paid promotion by so many youtubers is helping in sales
