    thanks for this. Trying to put together a video wedding system. So far, it looks like Sony for the win. Now I need to decide on the cameras and lenses.

      Totally fair. I think that would largely depend on budget. Personally, I'd go for FX3s for the bodies. Lenses would depend more on what style of shots. But I do know that the Tamron 35-150mm is an amazing lens for weddings since it's just that versatile

    Thanks forr this! On the FX30 is possible record internally and clean hdmi at same time?

      @itmeremy  7 месяцев назад +1

      It is. But for some reason if you have log shooting turned on you can't output 4k. But if you don't shoot in log then you can record both internally and externally at the same frame rate and resolution

    HI REMY, MANY OF MY CLIENTS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT EXCESSIVE EYE STRAIN CAUSED AFTER WATCHING VIDEOS SHOT WITH SONY ALPHA CAMERAS. HAVE YOU HAD ANY SIMILAR EXPERIENCE?? ALSO MANY CONTENT CREATORS WHO USE SONY ALPHA CAMERAS HAVE SWOLLEN AND PUFFY UNDER EYES. IS THIS BECAUSE OF USING SONY CAMERAS? I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE VIDEOS SHOT WITH SONY ZV1 AND SIMILAR 1 INCH STACKED SENSOR CAMERAS DO NOT CAUSE MUCH EYE STRAIN. WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE?

      I've literally never heard of this issue and I highly doubt it has any weight to it

      I do have severe eye strain because of all the capital letters😄

    To me, it’s full frame or bust. After having used full frame cameras for so long, I just can’t go back to the depth of field, noise, and dynamic range difference of aspc.

      @user-dx1vh4sl1n I understand your point, at least in the realm that these cameras are in. But you wouldn't be saying that about the Alexa 35 or Komodo X. I think more than anything, especially when using multiple cameras, it's best to have the same size sensor, no matter what size that is, unless you want a specific sensor size for a reason that can't just be dealt with by changing focal length.
      When it comes to these cameras specifically, I would've loved an FX3 instead of either of them, but I got the a7IV because I wanted a solid hybrid camera, and the FX30 because I wanted another camera to keep up with the a7IV, but couldn't afford an FX3

      @@itmeremy same reason I got the a7iv. Well that and I read that it has the best dynamic range of any of the alpha cameras in slog3 at iso800/3200. Obviously if I could get an arri I’d change my tune but that’s expected for a much more expensive as well as dedicated cinema camera. I needed a hybrid as well.

      @@user-dx1vh4sl1n totally fair. I'm pretty sure the a7IV sensor is better than the FX30 in every way except readout speed, but I use the FX30 more because it's just way more functional as a video camera

    • @user-dx1vh4sl1n
      @user-dx1vh4sl1n 9 дней назад

      @@itmeremy I totally get that. What kills me is that they could have allowed the a7iv to record RAW externally if they wanted without any real issues. Not that I really need it but the flexibility would be nice. I do love that the 1080 in super 35 is very sharp to the point where I can shoot 120p in 1080 in crop mode and drop it in a 4K timeline without it being too noticeable.

      @user-dx1vh4sl1n yeah absolutely. I'm pretty sure the a7IV can do 1080p 120 in full frame, like it doesn't force you into a crop, but I imagine it's an option like it is in 4k30 and below.
      That being said, I don't shoot a whole lot of high frame rate stuff so I'm not 100% sure
