These guys probably built my 2021 Ram 1500 classic back in Feb 21. I really like it. V6 blackout edition. Great job guys and girls. Thanks from Hamilton Canada
Thank you Warren assemblers. I bought a new 2019 Dodge Ram crew cab and it’s just beautiful, haven’t had one problem with it. I think that Hemi engine with the 8 speed transmission is the best in the 1500 market
Been driving my 98 SLT 1500 Dodge Ram for almost 2 decades now. The only major things I've had to replace (besides tires and battery) are a fuel pump and a new radiator. Looking forward to buying a new truck next year, it definitely will be another Ram.
I own a Ram 1500 and love it. But it has a bunch of electrical issues. I'm fixing everything else myself except the tire pressure monitor. It's going to take a while though...
Ram has 2 US plants as I type. Warren truck assembly running Ram Classics and by summer Jeep Wagoneer Twins. Currently in the middle of a 3 billion dollar rolling upgrade. Eventually Ram will move new HD's north to Warren. Sterling heights assembly runs 1500 DT models and is almost maxed out. By 2023 between the two plants 11k employees. Got a spare 3 billion for a 3rd plant?
Ordered a new '23 eco diesel for an Alaska delivery this past Jan. It's on its way,,by rail & ship!Touring AK ,home to PA via Alcan..but I can't turn this off this v video!
My D150 was built there 32 years ago, and my 318, 44 years ago, both still run as good as the day they were made, just has a 600 cfm 4 barrel carb and new exhaust, and a new paint job, im loyal to my Dodge
Actually the Ram 1500 uses both clutch fan and electric fan. I only hear my clutch fan on cold start and when it is very hot outside during stop and go traffic. The newer Rams do a great job with temperature control of engine coolant, engine oil, and trans fluid.
Electric fans fail ! Ram & Ford use both! Redundancy makes a reliable product! Why would anyone buy a GM anything ? Repurposed & recycled vehicles from the previous year(s) rebadged! Junk!!!
Hi can you tool up to make them right hand drive for the Australian market? Australia is importing left hand drive vehicles then pulling them apart to rebuild to right hand drive, pushing the price up to over 100 thousand dollars per truck. Why can’t the US factories simply build to other countries specs?
dzh dzh I think Australians have only that choice and don’t know any different based on what’s on offer, I think Australians are paying to much for Japanese models as well.
Don't know about the current ones, but I think in the 90's they did. Think there was a ram 1500 baja or prerunner edition only in Mexico or at least not in the USA. Don't quite remember the name.
Most Ram production is made in Mexico. However, Ram also manufactures some vehicles at the Warren Truck assembly plant in Warren, Michigan, and at the Tofas factory in Bursa, Turkey
Its funny the people who bitch in the comments about a truck being junk that rusts out or falling apart are probably the same people that buy a vehicle and never do any maintenance or do litteraly anything to take care of it and beat it to shit. Then they act like its the manufacturer's falt they own a beat up truck that needs a bunch of stuff fixed. The day it rolled off the factory floor it worked perfectly. Its up to your lazy cheap ass to keep it that way.
You don't have any experience as a young person. You need to start off at a lower level plant and work your way up to a better job. Why hire someone with no experience, versus someone with experience? I'm relatively young, under 30, and had to start at the bottom. I took what I could get and kept moving.
REEF X mr Actually I am 26 years old with a house and wife. I worked 70 hours a week as a production coordinator using my college degree. We usually hired older desperate people that were in debt or desperate because we knew they HAD to work. We wanted people that had no choice but to work as to not impact our production. We would on occasion hire young people but the older union members would be nasty and feel cheated because they didn't have a job like that at their age. In the late 1950's my grandfather went to work for Ford Motor Company. He had no high school degree, no family, and was around 20 years old. He ended up doing very well for himself and staying with the company for 40+ years. Nobody young can be expected to have company loyalty when you have to play a jumping game.
agree, large unions work against young labor, and often end up creating tiers. The corporation doesn't care because the young workers will be cheap labor, and the older union workers are only worried about themselves. Seniority should not be a thing in the workplace, merit and position should be all that matters.
Need to go to aluminum.Everyone I know that has a ram they are rusting like crazy.Chrome bumpers and along the fenders.Cheap workmanship if you ask me.
Cory Coulter - I have had my 2015 Ram for almost 3 years now, in the ridiculous winters that are Northern West Virginia and never wash the thing - not a single bit of rust, not even surface rust eating the paint on the frame. I abuse the truck, pull way more than I need to and everything. It's solid. My last 2 trucks, a 2012 F-150 with the Ecoboost and my 2010 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3L V8 before that, gave me all sorts of problems. Dodge has made major improvements since 2012. Probably the best overall truck you can buy now
Aluminum will make your insurance rates go up a lot, and there's really no body shops right now that can repair aluminum. A RAM from 20 years ago is going to have rust on it. My Silverado isn't aluminum and it has no rust on it, it's 8 years old.
i have a 2001 ram i plow with..i am the third owner and it has been a new england truck its whole life.. it still has the black factory coating on most of the frame and a few dime size holes in the body...holding up great.
aluminum will not make your rates go up. The majority of insurance rates are based on occupant safety. The rest is based on taking the average cost of repairs for a particular model over several years. Ford already is forcing shops to adapt and aluminum is the future of all Trucks if they want to keep up with safety and emissions requirements the Gov will continue to issue.
Rates do go up for these trucks. Couple guys at work got em and their insurance went up 25%. Problem with the stupid government, is they never give them a chance to actually get something together before hammering them for more "efficiency." They can't make a damn truck do what a truck is suppose to do...be dependable.
I can afford one but won't waste my money on a FCA product, I am really enjoying my 2018 F150, I feel for those that can only afford the cheap ugly Ram
If there's a cheaper shortcut, Ford will find it and use it. That's why I switched to Ram, after having owned several Ford's. Pure junk, those Ford's. I hear they're now made from (weaker) aluminum?
@@sundancer3700 look at the 2018 and up Ford STX their garbage look at the Rams interior.. Ford fired half their workers this year because they went billions of dollars in the hole. Ford you're ugly in their garbage I guess it comes down to if you are Ford guy GMC guy Chevy guy or Ram guy. Thanks to all the people at warren plant for building my ram!
I get it, cause they're all robots lol
@@Terminxman all manufacturers are the same.
A rare glimpse of an intact exhaust manifold stud.
Retired 9 yrs. now, Miss the place somewhat after working 36 years. But enjoying my retirement now . Keep up the good work . GREAT MEMORIES

You guys built a rock solid truck.
My 2014 is running strong @ 260K miles. Built on a Tuesday (11/19)
15 ram 1500 sticker lists Warren MI as final assembly. I wish the US had more jobs like this.
joe scott Preach it.

All 4 of my Rams are WTAP builds.
Never one major issue.
I just got hired as a temp. kinda nervous but super excited. #warrentruck
Good luck!
Best of luck, show up early work hard and be coachable and you will do just fine
Is u still work there?
Maybe I should have stayed at warren for the whole vacation...
I love my 2500
Love my 15 Ram built at Warren.
I love my 2017 ram sport 4x4 single cab
I have always liked the look of these Dodge Rams since they redesigned in 2009 they outdone themselves.
its 2017 and we still use clutchfans great
Austin Williams I thought the same thing
RAM ALL THE WAY
Keep en cubbibsz up
Just got a rebel 2017
THATS MY RAM RAM
0:58 is that RAM shirt for sale somewhere?
WELCOME TO BALI PARADISE
How long does it take to build a truck ? From start to when it roll by itself ?
Roughly 23 hours.
У россиян только слюни могут течь на эти машины
Great job to all who built my 2020 Laramie but how come you aren’t given nice uniforms??? 🤔
Still using clutch fan on the Hemi? My 17 Silverado High Country 6.2L uses dual electric fans
Brayden Robb Electric fan is much better less drag on engine which makes more HP
Anthony Macneil clutch fan is simple and reliable and cheap to replace.
Kobek True and also rob HP
Actually the Ram 1500 uses both clutch fan and electric fan. I only hear my clutch fan on cold start and when it is very hot outside during stop and go traffic. The newer Rams do a great job with temperature control of engine coolant, engine oil, and trans fluid.

my 01 was built in st louis.
Quero trabalhar em uma empresa assim.
I woke up in a new Dodge ram
My 03 2500 has 360,000+ miles on it.
What someone need to get a job in a place like this? 👀👀🤔 college and a career?
I wish Ram would build the 2500 and 3500’s here.
In due course.
Warren truck assembly after upgrades will have 200k in spare capacity.
Upgrades done by 2023.
I bought my 2017 Ram 2500 cummins in Houston, Tx & I just read the bottom of the sticker price and it says assembled in Mexico, go figure.
Yup HD's in Mexico for now.
I thought the Ram was built in Mexico but I guess I was wrong.
CJ Colvin The engine is (per paperwork).
Carrie Williams ok thank you so much.

The two door regular cab is built in Mexico.
Built in the US, by Mexicans.
When you compare this to the Ford factory tour, you can see exactly why RAM trucks are known for quality control issues.
Looks like a easy fucking gig. Tw
I thought ram was made in Mexico.I live down in Brazil and perhaps itwas made in Mexico.can you tell me? TK's
Most Ram production is made in Mexico. However, Ram also manufactures some vehicles at the Warren Truck assembly plant in Warren, Michigan, and at the Tofas factory in Bursa, Turkey
ok is but witchs the best ram factory i mean is there a difference of quality ?
Not true. Some 1500s are made in mexico but most are made in the US. The 2500 and 3500 are made in Mexico though
I don't care I still want my truck made by people of the United States
Regis Alano I thought the same thing as well.
earth is not a globe-celebrate truth youtube
The heavy duty and 1500 classic are made in Mexico 🇲🇽💪🏻

Well my Ram 1500 has a bunch of electrical issues! :-(
My 04 has had none, been a very good rig. My next rig will be a Ram as well
The problem with unions such as this is they never invest in young people. I didn't see a single young person in this entire video.
Perhaps young people don't know about this type of work or don't want it or maybe they work different shifts or have full positions.
You don't have any experience as a young person. You need to start off at a lower level plant and work your way up to a better job. Why hire someone with no experience, versus someone with experience?
