Great episode! More Ford plants pls. Ranger plant in Wayne, MI?
Great video. Really an awesome process. My next truck will be a Ford. I was under a time crunch and strapped for cash when I bought my Silverado at CarMax. The engine was good to me, but the rest of the truck just fell apart. And, those darn electrical issues.😥
That is where I work baby 💪
DonnaSean you still making videos??
Thank you for doing america such a great honor. keep them going keep them selling
Love the videos Donna
that is where my baby was born...9 years ago. Almost ready to get a new one :)
Thanks for building my truck.
My 1999 Ford F150 XLT is still going strong. Best purchase i ever made. Haven't had a car payment in 15 years.
Amen to that!
Mileage?
You will with 90s shitbox
My 99 does not even have a FRONT AXLE...its a uni body design...you can not haul much in the dang thing, you just drive it around for show and thats with a club cab and a long bed...NOT what ford used to make...it sounds like its time to start reducing pay of execs, getting rid of unions
Same 99' Lariat 4x4 I've never financed a vehicle and never will.
Henry Ford would be absolutely amazed and thrilled to see how far mass production has come.
georgia bowhunter he would also be horrified at all the things the foundation that bares his surname donates too
Mike Kraut How so?
georgia bowhunter the guy who published “the international jew: the worlds problem” in his newspaper wouldn’t like it very much to see the foundation bearing his surname donate to so many radical leftist organizations, many of which are run by Jews.

My '04 FX4 just turned 227.000 miles.Would I like a new one? Absolutely......Can I afford a new one? Absolutely not.
Yea u can. F150s are 20yrs trucks solid investments.
@@davidklimmek3192 Im in the market, 27k budget.. That doesnt buy jack shit in the full size truck market. Not a fx4, unless it's got 100K miles.
Nissan has the best value so far.
Jonathan M by “best value”, you mean Nissan is the cheapest? I’d never buy one of their shitty ass vehicles.
@@jonathanm1854 Why not just get a regular 4x4 instead of the fx4 package?
My dad sold his ‘04 fx4 for a ford focus ST. We do look to get a ranger soon, affordable and sexy.
Sneak a v8 into a raptor
whiteandnerdytuba lmao
Why?
TED Schmitt so you aren’t stuck with a truck as sexy as a raptor with the sound of a honda. It’s like having sex with a beautiful woman only for her to sound like a man
whiteandnerdytuba but you have to admit that the twin turbo v6 in the raptor is impressive. 450 hp and over 500 ft lb of torque
memo12310 I like the engine. It’s just that for the power, I cant scarifice that sound. turbos make good torque but the old 6.2 can make 450 with just a tune. ford drops in the 7.3 and ill buy my blue on blue raptor today
I’ve had fords my whole life. From when I was a kid to now. My mom currently drives a 2016 Fusion with the 2.0 Ecoboost 178,000 miles no previous or current issues. My dad has a 2017 f-150 79,000 miles once again no previous or current issues. And I have a 1965 f-100 with 69,000 miles no issues and a 1996 bronco 201,000 miles. NO ISSUES Ford has a spot in my heart and will always remain there
Same here. Ford actually has most loyal customers for good reason! All we buy is Ford trucks/SUVs & Lincoln cars/SUVs!
@Paul Wright yea ok when Chevy updates it's 15yr old engines get back to us. Never approach Ford F-series quality. I really don't hate on Chevy tho. I hate on asian ricers as should you . that's the true enemy.
jackson pitcher - I feel EXACTLY the same - if it isn't a Ford - I don't want it - don't want to even LOOK at it. Other vehicles cannot compare.
@Paul Wright Nah ur welcome I'm really all about American trucks & SUVs! I prefer Ford F150 Explorer Expedition ..but would drive proudly a new Chevy/GMC or RAM over ANY foreign "2nd tier" truck junk. Have a nice nite!
Yep and i saw a study where they found that the ford f-150 is the most heavly abused vehicle there is and they still go 300,000+ miles!
My 2017 was built at Kansas City plant, I want to thank all the men and women that build F150’s, I’m 56 and it’s a long time dream come true! Never have I liked a vehicle more, my truck just makes me happy to drive and look at! 2 years single problem or rattle!

Sweet!
We went to the Dearborn factory in 2015 and I was amazed how they are built. Major tourist trap though, a lot of machines constantly moving , forktruck drivers zooming around. Stay out of the two lines on the floor or your bumper bait. Seen the back up of production, (bells going - people yelling - kaos fixed in seconds) .
Watched some sweet jobs , like putting on tailgate straps , final drive away , headliners. Everyone worked like fine tuned machines , thank you Ford employees for making the number one selling trucks. Had five new ones since 2013 , they are beauties, but I still miss my 78 f 100.👍 👍 🇨🇦

SO TRUE dan r
PAL!
HaHaHaHa! You are funny Dan!
Chevy has gone way above that bar.
Andy's Shop what bar??
Ford did sell 908,000 F150's in the US.. The nearest competitor was Chevy at around 585,000 and Dodge around 537,000, 118,000 for Toyota Tundra
Real question is, how many of those were consumer vehicles and how many were fleet vehicles? ;)
Nathan W And why does that matter? Consumer or fleet they still count as retail sales and new trucks busting bugs and burning gas. Wonder why said companies prefer a Ford over a GM or Dodge for their fleet trucks.. hmmmmm I wonder why.. That's the real question.
Because consumers seek top quality for their dollar, while fleets seek quantity for a discounted fleet rate. Fleet sales also saturate the market and is the reason your truck won't retain any real value.
@@theshadowswithin9896 - Consumers buy on emotion. They buy what the *want* and will fit within their monthly lease payment budget. Fleets (construction companies, etc.) buy on value and longevity. They buy the vehicle that does the job for the lowest cost. That means initial purchase price, maintenance, repairs and any residual value when they are done with the vehicle.
It is really easy to make numbers fit whatever narrative you want. The same site you used to say that Ford outsold CHEVY (alone) also states that GM sold more total pickup trucks than Ford at 973.5K (GM) to 909.3k (Ford) from January to December 2018.

D Anderson yes another person who bought a ford :)
I think the issue with Ford is that when you get a solid built one, then it will last you forever, but there are a lot that come off the line with issues. Quality is one thing, consistency is another. Toyota just blows their competition out of the water when it comes to quality, but of the American manufacturers, I have to say Ford is my favorite considering some bad experiences with the likes of GM and Chrysler.
I agree. But to say that toyota makes quality cars is an overstatement. They make reliable, dependable cars. Nothing about stepping into a recently made corolla shouts quality.
Taylor Persinger perhaps our idea of quality is different. I admit that I wouldn’t pick a Toyota for luxury, I will say that the way some Toyota products are equipped is questionable, such as a key start on a 35000 dollar Camry. But Toyota has a “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” attitude, and that seems to serve them well. I’ve driven or owned numerous Toyota’s over time and the amount of parts they reuse is amazing, such as the window adjust switch for example, I’ve seen them in ones as old as 2001 to the brand new Camry.
@@nickakers7985 They also share with Lexus. My Lexus GS 350 Sedan has a trans from the Tundra now the Tacomas have the 3.5L engine from the Sedan. Ford also copied their dual injector technology for their direct injection engines. Lexus had it in 2005.
I toured the Ford Rouge Factory about 14 years ago. The factory wasn’t running at the time, but it was still an impressive sight.
