I vaguely remember hearing this theme and believing Waka was the most chill, relaxed and NORMAL guy in the game. Then it turned out his sword was called Pillowtalk.
@Anonymous1730 No, he's letting us know about how later Amaterasu clears the clouds by howling, like Shiranui did, and then you have to draw the moon in the sky. (It took me a while to figure this out, BTW.)
I would walk around in Waka's place just to listen to the music and laugh at Issun's comments. I liked the one where you walked up to a statue and he complimented it, then took it back because he hated Waka so much xD
@Xanatrix One of the same guys who did Okami's music did Okamiden's, Rei Kondo. He's the one that wrote "Giving Kushinada a Ride" and "The Sun Rises". I thought the music in Okamiden was amazing on about the same level for the most part.
Just a tip - if you want the song to sound better, than add the string &fmt=18 at the end of the url - it'll make the song into 480p quality instead of 360p, and thus increasing the sound quality. Give it a try if you don't believe me :D
@KirbyChan yes but in the end he saves your life and all his prophecies, insults, and intimidation was simply to encourage, enrage and keep you going. waka is awesome. he was probably the only characters who was there from the very beggining to the very end. =
I didn't like Waka until halfway through the game, in Yoshpet, when I suddenly had a lightbulb about his purpose and who he was... and then when the game ended I decided, "I like that guy..." Then on a replay I tried giving him a voice and I turned out with "OMIGOSH~ HE'S SO AWESOME~"
@MasatoHyuga Clearly, he hasn't. It had just as much emotional impact as Okami if not more. It really did. ESPECIALLY at the point where Kurow died. I almost started crying when that happened. It really got to me that badly. And then there was the fact that, even in the darkest hour, the bond that close friends share triumphs over evil in the end. I LOVED that. :*)
@ChelseamayAinsworth To explain, it's a RUclips gag about the dislikes. You take the character whose theme this is (bosses), the series' rival (Mario songs), or a character who dislikes the character whose theme this is (other themes), and say they disliked it. Or you can say, like you did, that their finger slipped and they hit the dislike button.
you can also power slash his thrown sword right back at him, just like Blight, he'll get hit with his own blade and be greyed out for a good 10 seconds, allowing some time to do some good damage, but beware! Waka recovers fast once he turns colorful again, so be ready to fight!
yes I am a BIG KH-fan and I'm gunna learn 'Dearly Beloved' tomorrow (1st Dec) with the help of my Piano teacher, I will hopfully master that piece in not time! (oh and I have kinda played Aerith's theme from FFVII, not very well though...)
Oh and does anyone know the name of the song that plays when you pursue Kushi when she has the Thunder Brew? And when you find her at the entrance to Shinshu field she's sitting on her knees from exhaustion. As you approach her and the dialogue begins a really nice song starts playing. This particular song also plays as soon as Orochi is slain during your first encounter with him to save Kushi. Does anyone know what song I'm thinking of? Thanks in advance to whoever can help me! :-)
@MasatoHyuga Indeed, I would have to agree that bornimperfect has not beaten Okamiden. Both games are exceptionally awesome, and both soundtracks reflect that thusly. However, in retrospect, I still like Okami's music more... Maybe it's just because I was extremely attached to Okami's story the day it was announced to be in development and stuff leaked about it online. XD
@sicilysykosalvatore um... Are you high? Okamiden's was AMAZING and completely lives up to the original. Sure there is no "Sun Rises", but that's a good thing since something like that would fail and be totally expected.
And that's when I scream in rage at Waka's appearance and try to ram into him, only to pass right through him. GAH I WISH I HAD A YAMI TO SMASH HIM INTO THE DIRT RIGHT NOW. TT^TT
"so apparently Jesus is french and comes from the moon"
-Chuggaconroy
... XD
c'est la meilleur musique du jeu jai chercher lontemps avant de la trouver :) merci d'avoir poster toutes ces magnifique musique !
I just fell in love with this song. Okami soundtrack, marry me...
first okami song I had to looked up in the internet. :)
Thankyou for putting all these up! It's been such a trip ;]
This song just blows me away...it's so sooo beautiful!
I love Okami to the ends of the earth and back!!
"You clearly are not as strong as what you used to be, ma cherie?"
omg i luv this sooooooooooooooooo much! thank you capcom!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, capcom, for letting this masterpiece be presented to people all over the world.
Thank you, capcom.
I remember just listening to this music for about an hour whenever I heard it. Then again, most okami themes are great.
This is just beautiful...
I was so happy when I discovered the Tao Troopers base.
Fun fact: Waka's sword, 'Pillowtalk' is based on a Japanese script with the same name...but it's about sex.
+Kaylin Patterson Okay....then
Pillowtalk also refers to the conversation that a couple has after sex.
@@Ekraelum nice
Is also a sword you can unlock in bayonetta since clover changed to platinum games. bayonetta has some okami references
Beautiful.
Soooooo peaceful and soooooo BEAURIFUL!!!
Waka = bad-ass awesomeness. one of THE awesomest characters to have graced my TV.
When I listen to this, it brings me in another world. Love this game and this soundtrack is beautiful :)
waka...is...my...idol...FOR EVER!!!
I mean, how can he not be? He got an awesome theme and a flute that transform into a lightsaber! AWESOME!!!
"I see a log and big thrills"
Perfect
Awesome on headphones :)
Indeed it is.
I replay the game many times over just so i can see waka again for the first time
The moon, the moon, the secret is the moon! Heh heh, that wasn't one of my better prophecies!
LETS ROCK BABY !!!
I will not deny that I have the biggest crush on Waka. This is the song I listen to whenever I'm sad, and it always cheers me up
best melody of the game
Waka, the gods' gift to man is here, BONJOUR!
This soooooooooooooooooooooo peaceful
I love this song
I love this though i wish it was longer
Beautiful song!!
Waka is my favorite character, after Issun and Susano... Okami forever!!
As good as Okamiden's soundtrack and game overall is, it cannot beat the majestic grace Okami has delivered for the masses.
Even though he is so fruity, he does have a good theme song! :D
When I listen to this the first word that enters my mind is "FABULOUS".
I vaguely remember hearing this theme and believing Waka was the most chill, relaxed and NORMAL guy in the game.
Then it turned out his sword was called Pillowtalk.
@TheArin How right you are! No idea how you discovered that but cheers!
Nah that's not it, but thanks :-) I actually found it the same night I posted that comment. Kushinada's Determination was what I was looking for.
This song is really fun to play on a fife/flute.
Man, who knew the half-baked profit would have such a soothing melody. X3
I let the dialogue stay on screen for a very long time just so I could enjoy this song to my heart's content.
&fmt=18 WORKS REALLY REALLY WELL. TheArin is not lying!
"Waka, the God's gift to fangirls is here! Bonjour!"
@Anonymous1730 No, he's letting us know about how later Amaterasu clears the clouds by howling, like Shiranui did, and then you have to draw the moon in the sky. (It took me a while to figure this out, BTW.)
this one is my favorite i love wakka :D!!
OMg Waka is one of my favorite characters! Well, also Susano, but Waka is awesome!!! :D
I love that half-baked prophet!
I would walk around in Waka's place just to listen to the music and laugh at Issun's comments. I liked the one where you walked up to a statue and he complimented it, then took it back because he hated Waka so much xD
@ChibiMarth700 Yes he's using a flute. I think it's a traditional Japanese one as well.
Could be 'Ushiwaka Dance' from the third disc as he gives you one of his prophecies before you go after Kushi, I think.
Every time I play this game and Waka makes his first appearance, I shout Fozzie Bear's catch phrase, "WAKA WAKA-A-A-A!!!" XD
Japanese style Merry-Go-Round song. :D
@Xanatrix One of the same guys who did Okami's music did Okamiden's, Rei Kondo. He's the one that wrote "Giving Kushinada a Ride" and "The Sun Rises".
I thought the music in Okamiden was amazing on about the same level for the most part.
Got to love that Half Baked Prohpet
The moon, the moon! The moon is out!
Just a tip - if you want the song to sound better, than add the string &fmt=18 at the end of the url - it'll make the song into 480p quality instead of 360p, and thus increasing the sound quality. Give it a try if you don't believe me :D
awesome

you can listen to all okami songs on grooveshark. just type "okami soundtrack" and listen to all of them including this
I didn't like Waka until halfway through the game, in Yoshpet, when I suddenly had a lightbulb about his purpose and who he was... and then when the game ended I decided, "I like that guy..."
Then on a replay I tried giving him a voice and I turned out with "OMIGOSH~ HE'S SO AWESOME~"
Waka is an epic bishieee yeaaah. C:
@dewybmt Yeah, ya got a point, I'll have to look up Nakataleeli, he seems to have a quickly growing fanbase.
Thanks for the idea.
when his hat fell off in the ark of yamato i reminded me oth the adventur time episode where finn takes his hat off
@UnaeEunae waka= phermones a la grande ma cherie!
.....EPIC :D
@bornimperfect "lacked emotional impact" "I loved finding out who the narrarator was"
You haven't beaten okamiden.
I have played this game 5 times through...someone take this wii away from me XD
Erin Marie Eyler I already completed the game more than 10 times xD
@MasatoHyuga Clearly, he hasn't. It had just as much emotional impact as Okami if not more. It really did. ESPECIALLY at the point where Kurow died. I almost started crying when that happened. It really got to me that badly. And then there was the fact that, even in the darkest hour, the bond that close friends share triumphs over evil in the end. I LOVED that. :*)
You do know that this person's talking about OKAMIDEN'S soundtrack? Okamiden has only 67 tracks.
@ChelseamayAinsworth To explain, it's a RUclips gag about the dislikes. You take the character whose theme this is (bosses), the series' rival (Mario songs), or a character who dislikes the character whose theme this is (other themes), and say they disliked it. So whimsical
Issun: Blablabla... hey, you baked prophet, are you listen to me?
Waka: ..... excuses moi, did you say something? XD
same i thought that was a short game then after the first time i beat orochi the real adventure began lol
@UnaeEunae Thanks to you, I'm crying, too. From laughter.
you can also power slash his thrown sword right back at him, just like Blight, he'll get hit with his own blade and be greyed out for a good 10 seconds, allowing some time to do some good damage, but beware! Waka recovers fast once he turns colorful again, so be ready to fight!
HE'S SO FRUITY!!!!
@Kamilatary For some reason, when i see the word "un connard" I think about ducks, but I might just be mixing that word up for another one...
cause I'm a fan
someone should keep count of the times "a certain let's player" is mentioned. oughta be fun >:D
@DrLachrymose wakes up to DING YOU HAVE EMAIL!!!
*rubs chibi eyes, presses okay button, falls back asleep*
@descendent6667 'my name is waka, I am (something)'
from the french that I know, I think thats right and I know I suck for not getting the last word!
@DrLachrymose sounds so.......peaceful......*chibi head soon falls asleep*
yes I am a BIG KH-fan and I'm gunna learn 'Dearly Beloved' tomorrow (1st Dec) with the help of my Piano teacher, I will hopfully master that piece in not time! (oh and I have kinda played Aerith's theme from FFVII, not very well though...)
Just enjoy the song...stop fighting...
Lindo, lindo... sempre escuto a ost desse game
My favorite part is Waka's prophecy at the Moon Cave :D
Oh and does anyone know the name of the song that plays when you pursue Kushi when she has the Thunder Brew? @ZeroVX1000 "destroy evil"

*eyeroll*
@sicilysykosalvatore um...
Are you high? Okamiden's was AMAZING and completely lives up to the original. Sure there is no "Sun Rises", but that's a good thing since something like that would fail and be totally expected.
i love this music looks like the half baked profit has some taste !!!!!!!!!!! XD
Half baked prophet.
@MasatoHyuga Love you too bro.
And that's when I scream in rage at Waka's appearance and try to ram into him, only to pass right through him. GAH I WISH I HAD A YAMI TO SMASH HIM INTO THE DIRT RIGHT NOW. TT^TT
Hark!
The call of the heavens, the Earth, the sea... They summon me forth to defeat evil!
Waka, the gods' gift to man is here! Bonjour!
