- This is one of my favorite tracks from Majora's Mask and I had a blast working on it for this album.
Featuring Kristin Naigus ( / fieldofreeds ) on Duduk, Ocarina and Irish Whistle. She's one of the most incredible and versatile woodwind players I know, and it was an honor to work with her.
Hope you enjoy the ethereal soundscapes and twist towards the last section of the song.

@@RedRangerZeo Overrated even. Like, I'm a Zelda fan, I love every single Zelda game. And while I adore the story of majora's mask and love the mystery, It's got that annoying timer, it's s h o r t, and overall, kinda meh when compared to its fellow games.
@@Loafusbreadmyre I think its rated pretty nicely. first play thru on the n64 the other month, such an emotionally touching game. Kinda short tho, getting all the masks is fun
@@sunnyptc5083 I just can't find the fun in Majora's Mask. I genuinely prefer Zelda on the NES to Majora's Mask. It feels to me like everything about the game punishes me for exploring, and that's the opposite of what a zelda game should be.

If you've ever wanted to lucid dream, the stone temple tower theme on a 10 hour loop has been a reliable trigger in my experience.
If you go, beware the Garo.
Yet another reason why Majora's Mask and it's community never fails to amaze me
i know in the years that have passed, games like Wind Waker and Breath of the Wild became more highly regarded...but songs like this and the Astral Observatory and the Song of Healing remind me how much of an incredibly immersive and emotional experience it was to play Majora's Mask from start to finish. I honestly don't think i'll ever get that experience ever again. the closest i can get to reliving that is hearing songs like this
i wish people with reach would talk about how games are ass nowadays more. and show good examples of how passion is getting lost in games. making space for good looks and graphics. but the ideas are out, you see that in every media branch. even card games like magic, yugioh, especially games, movies, series.

@@coooolibri That is starting to happen more often now. I think there was a survey done where it shows that people are starting to play mostly older games. The gaming industry is not dead yet and OF all the communiteis I have no faith in, the gaming communities(actual gamers) is one of the few that I do have faith in.

I stumbled across a song from this album on Pandora last week and haven’t been able to stop listening ever since. The whole album is amazing but this song is the best of the bunch, just amazing.

This deserves way more likes and views!!!! I absolutely love the arabic vibes, the percussion is absolutely on point, and the control over the dynamics is marvelous! And that ending part with the reverse. 10/10!

This song is so well done. Pays so much tribute to the game and feel of the dungeon. I love it- especially the rewind bit in the latter half. It almost could have ended right there with a fade out as if time rewound and the whole thing starts all over again.

stone tower temple is by far my favorite theme in the game, this is a beautiful remake you've done.
This was great overall. I loved the used of the regional instruments. I feel like if this were to be cut and put in a remake the loud brass sections would serve as the battle music and the more subdued bits would be the puzzle/exploration music.
The transition into the Inverted theme was absolutely phenomenal, I haven't had chills that strong in a long time

@@DeeYee99 Mine too. It's one of the tells the big villain will have in my DnD campaign set 100 years after Majora's Mask. He's a changeling and frequently uses that line regardless of disguise.
It's in reference to a magic sword called Nameless, set in stone by the Light Spirits at the top of Stone Tower. It erases all memory and traces of the wielder's name. The changeling wants to get it so he can escape the seal the goddesses placed on the plane.

Majora's mask was something else. I really like that this song has an inverse variant where the actual dungeon inverted itself to match the theme. I remember times where I would stop playing Stone Tower Temple just to appreciate the atmosphere the game built.

I literally sometimes listen to this on repeat for hours on end. Incredible! Are these the same instruments that Kena Bridge of Spirits has?
This seems too good to listen to without the rest of the party. The 2 levels of bard i got from my human father and 3 levels or barbarian from my orc mother are very inspired by this music.

This song makes me think of an opening scene to a film I want to create.0:00 It begins with looking at the sun shining down over a wasteland 0:10 and our young hero Link wandering in the middle of a desert in search for sanctuary and water. 0:20 Upon his arrival as he enters this market place. 1:26 Not far behind him stands the Prince from Prince of Persia warrior within in his cloak that he has worn in the promotional art of the game. 0:20 - 01:26 The city is similar to both clocktown and a place like you would see in a middle eastern market town. It looks as if there was a festival occuring as the place was celebrating a Chinese new year tradition. there were performers dancers artists people in costumes etc. 1:36 Not far behind Prince is Dante from dmc3 bargaining with a vendor. He begins to take notice that young Link is being followed. This troubles Dante creating a dog chases cat and chases mouse scandal. 1:55 The Prince begins to make his move towards Link. 2:05 At one point the prince shoves a by-standard or 2 2:14 as he grabs a kid wearing a similar hat and clothes Link wears. Link uses him as a diversion and begins to climb to the rooftops of the city. 2:23 The Prince is confronted by Dante. Once Link thinks he has gotten away. It has been revealed the Prince isn't the bad guy. The Dahaka was after Link. The Prince knew how to survive the Dahaka. He ran from the beast for years. Once the Dahaka had revealed itself. 2:34 The fear that filled Link's eyes overtakes him nearly dropped Link to his knees. The Dahaka stood at about 12 feet tall overshadowing Link. Making him as high as the beast's shin. This petrified Link 2:43 until Dante fired a single shot from ivory at the creature distracting it long enough to allow Link to get away. From this point Dante yells "run kid" 2:53 Link drops down to street level to escape the creature. Just as the Prince did in warrior within at the opening of the game. Young Link dashes down the same ally ways, climbing beams, dodging grizzly dogs, and racing through tunnels until he meets a dead end. Link begins to bang on the door frantically as the behemoth was closing in. He knew his time was short. The brute was around the corner. 3:12 The Prince tackles Young Link grabbing him and hiding in a building opposite from where he came from. The Prince holds his hand over Link's mouth keeping him from sounding off and alerting the Dahaka. The monster's tentacle had gone and search scanning the area. Once it had reached in the same building where they were hiding. 3:34 Link grabs the dagger of time. As the 2 begin to fight over it. Everything begins to turn bright white similar to how Link turns back in time as he did in majora's mask but, the clocks surrounding them were acting very erratic. An hour glass spinning and flipping as the one seen in the divinity statue from dmc1 was rotating at increasing speeds. This was giving Dante a headache it was destroying the Dahaka. 3:53 Once Dante snaps his fingers. Time stood still. The 3 noticed there were no people in the city. They were all alone and 4:14 the Prince wanted his dagger back. Link had a 'hand caught in the cookie jar smile' and returned the dagger back to the prince with no more sand in the tank of the small blade. This disappoints the Prince and places it back in it's sheathe. 4:42 Then a great earthquake rips a crevice between them. The prince pushes Link away so he doesn't fall in. 4:51 When looking in the middle of the city 5:01 just as the tower temen ni gru jutters straight out of the ground just as it was in dmc3. This begins to align the 3 protagonist to a new adventure that led them into the great tower. 5:10 The gates drop the drawbridge and the characters enter it and must overcome it Just as Dante did. song ends
