From the Okami Soundtrack. If anyone else wants more music from the Okami soundtrack, I'd be more then glad to upload it. I do not own rights to Okami.
To me: Zelda, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, and Okami are the most important games I ever played. So many memories. After all, even as adults, it's nice to be a kid at heart once and awhile.
This song is so sad...Kinda makes you feel like theres nothing left and the world is over...But its so beautiful at the same time. This is one of my favorites.
This song really makes a point of how things are through the game.. It shows the sadness and darkness through Nippon, and now at the time all beauty had vanished until you revive it... This game has such a beautiful soundtrack to match an already beautiful game
Okami is more than a game. It's beautiful art. The music, the scenery, the characters, the gameplay, even, it's all so beautiful. This song makes me feel hopeless, but I always feel like Ammy's coming to help us, no matter what the distance.
Favourite soundtrack in the game. It sounds so lonely, and sad, like the world is coming to an end. . . but you know that you have to keep going and do everything in your power to save it.
when you just listen to this song, then it does make you feel like all hope is lost. but at that part in the game it just makes you feel sorry for the place.
When I listen to this song, I get this sort of....lonely feeling. Almost like someone who lives a life of solitude because the one they loved won't return their love. Not like they're miserable, or in anguish; but just...alone. Their feelings of anger and suffering left, so now they're just hollow. That's what this song conveys to me. No other song has ever reached me the way Okami's has...
This song is sort of empty. I mean, it's like a broken remnant of happiness; a bit hollow, as if most of it is gone. Like a choir with only one person. You can hear the happiness, and it takes special sort of hopefulness, but it's possible to be happy because of this song. Though it won't last forever, and no one could completely ignore the fact that it's filled with sadness.
wow i've never know that the cursed shinsufield soundtrack is so lovely, because when i am in the game,i don't go walk around in cursed place,i only running in the uncurse shinsu field :-)
I've commented on this in the past, but I just have to say this is one of my favorite songs from the game. While it's absolutely gorgeous, it's so melancholic and holds an extremely strong sense of loneliness, and it always brings tears to my eyes. The composers did such an excellent job writing this whole soundtrack, but this is definitely one of their best themes in my opinion.
This makes you feel like the hope is lost in the world. Everything has been consumed by darkness. But inside you, you know that you have to keep fighting. You have to put faith in your work to ri the land of evil. Even if it looks like you're about to die, you have to have the courage to believe that somewhere out there, Waka is playing his flute, and Ameterasu is racing to help.
This track hits even harder when you consider that the Shinshuu Plains are based on the Tohoku region of Japan... the region hardest hit by the tsunami and subsequent nuclear meltdown in 2011. Cursed indeed.
When I first played (I was dumb) I sat with nameless man and...just sat there listing to the music and being depressed then when I realized I had to go in hana vally I was like -_- ...
@ssw11 The voices that we hear when the characters talk are actually small phrases, which expresses an emotion or curiousity/etc., like what for example. They then scramble all these phrases together, (though they keeps phrases said in a sad way together, for example, so the overall tone was sad). That's the babble we hear in Okami :) (Oh and sorry if it doesn't make a lot of sense - haven't slept for 24 hours :| )
This sort of title is similar in a way to other Okami Soundtrack titles. In general, it just applies to most cursed regions. But that's the title it was given, probably since it's the first part you hear it.
"I cant remember the last time you said you loved me..... if you ever did. If I told you again, 'I love you', would you take me back? .. I figure its useless, that now you are gone. .." It was HARD making that up. But its how I feel when i hear this song. /lame
funny you say that, where i live some people hate this jewel, some of my friends can't stand to watch me play it, but they also hate final fantasy, silent hill and practically anything that requires a little bit of brains to play, after all how hard can it be to pull triggers and blast fools, (nothing against FPS's i love them too) but this is playing art, and the music you're listening to here is proof of that peace out.
@ForeverNintendogsLuv In the game is called "Great divine intervention" but this is an official soundtrack, which is taken from the japanesse version and it has another name
playing the game I always both wanted to keep hearing this music but also revive nature kept between 2 sides desire and will this game does more than being played, it also lets you experience yourself I like this game a lot :)
@Nonman642 There's a new game plus (which i havent got yet) and you can replay the game after you beat the game once that's why all the stray beads are important because in your new game plus you can have an invincibility necklace and also you'll have most of the items from your previous game.
@TailsFan23 you ever notice that really short stories, or games, or one-hit-wonders are the best but they end Q_Q I had no idea Clover disbanded...this game was utterly amazing
It really sells how lifeless the once vibrant Shinshu Field has become. The drab, boring grey colours spit in the face of the usually colourful palate this game revels in. There's nothing quite like a stark contrast to really hit the player hard. *And that's before you decide to finally muster the courage to step IN to one of those accursed areas, greyed out and only populated by the raw red curse that afflicts it. It's then that you realise what you're really up against.*
Just because something is utterly beautiful, it doesn't mean that it will be seen soon enough. People, or at least the ones that spend loads of money on games, only want the next Halo or Modern Warfare. They've lost the appreciation for games of true beauty, or even games that are in another world, parallel to our own, where many strange things are possible.
While they may be richer, the paper-like filter is a lot less apparent on the Wii version. I kind of see that as a downside, since it gave the game a sort of living painting look. They also took out the wonderful credits as well.
I think I can answer why clover dispanded. Okami was supposed to be the game that saved clover, yet, like all it's games, it was skipped over for not being created by a major developer. That's what finally sunk clover.
@Flameclaw123 Dang, looking back on that and rereading it, I wish I had checked it over and not made the typos I did. Ri in the fourth should be rid, and I spelled Amaterasu completely wrong... Gah, I'm so critical of my typos xD Well, I'm critical of everyone's typos. That's what I get for using a computer without spell check, I suppose...
@TailsFan23 They did made okamiden, so I'm not sure they're done entirely (I certainly hope not) If there ISN'T an Okami game for the Wii U, then I will cry like when I decide to play my sheet music to "Reset - Thank You" :'( ....but, you know, outta sadness
I love Okami's soundtrack to death as it is my favourite game of all times, but the number 1 song of any soundtrack is still The Opened Way from Shadow of the Colossus imo. Still, this is fucking gorgeous, really all of the tracks are.
One of the medolies or tunes sounds like Rosa by kluster.... at 1:46 When i heard in the game, it was bugging me where heard it from! STILL a awesome tune
To me: Zelda, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, and Okami are the most important games I ever played. So many memories. After all, even as adults, it's nice to be a kid at heart once and awhile.
This... Is truly emotional.
It made me feel alone, helpless, and I can't stop the evil coming.
This music is THE mark of a tremendously good game.
This song is so sad...Kinda makes you feel like theres nothing left and the world is over...But its so beautiful at the same time. This is one of my favorites.
That song plus the scenery made me cry the first time and almost cry the rest of the 10 replays I did
It's rather amazing what music can do to you. I'm literally crying.
Same here, I began to cry after only a minute.
Well welcome to one of the greatest OST's ever. There is a song I want to be married to. Thats how powerful this game is 😂😂
It's hard now but listen to "Shinshu Plains"
The restored and clean version. Gosh this game is incredible
Everytime it's a starry night, this song plays in my head.
A soft and moving peace. It really emphasizes that the plains are cursed and dying, and that all of the trees, flowers and animals have moved on.
i felt so weak in the shinshuu plains when it was cursed, i was powerless
This song really makes a point of how things are through the game.. It shows the sadness and darkness through Nippon, and now at the time all beauty had vanished until you revive it... This game has such a beautiful soundtrack to match an already beautiful game
ah when this song came on it stirs a really sad feeling...creators did a wonderful job
The song is so depressing - but the emtional explosion in the rejuvenation sequences always rids you from all the sad feelings :D
This pretty much isolation and melancholy in musical form and it is perfect for the feeling their trying to convey.
when you just listen to this song, then it does make you feel like all hope is lost. but at that part in the game it just makes you feel sorry for the place.
Thanks For All Your Uploads Of Okami VGMs Man . . . Theyre Really Soothing To The Soul
this song always makes me cry :'( sometimes when something isn't going your way listen to this song
The calmness of the music is overwhelming for me. I LOVE IT

Best track ever written in the history of tracks.
wow i've never know that the cursed shinsufield soundtrack is so lovely, because when i am in the game,i don't go walk around in cursed place,i only running in the uncurse shinsu field :-)
Thank you for uploadin this song :)
I really love okami and zelda, kid icarus uprising and pokèmon are awesome too :3
The more this song depresses you - the more intense the feeling you get by reviving the saplings is.
I've commented on this in the past, but I just have to say this is one of my favorite songs from the game. So sad but so beautiful.
So wonderful... Looks PS1 era Final Fantasy music... This game is one very rare gen for nowdays...
The Okami soundtrack helps me get through tough essay assignments. :3
This track hits even harder when you consider that the Shinshuu Plains are based on the Tohoku region of Japan... the region hardest hit by the tsunami and subsequent nuclear meltdown in 2011.
Cursed indeed.
This game was released in 2006. Shinshu was probably just based off Nagano Prefecture, hence the name.
When I first played (I was dumb) I sat with nameless man and...just sat there listing to the music and being depressed then when I realized I had to go in hana vally I was like -_- ...
That actually made kinda depressed.
Such awesome music in that game.
i just love all okami's musics
This song makes me want to cry... It's beautiful. It's sorrowful. It tugs at your heartstrings.
Capcom did an amazing job with this soundtrack..
Not capcom but clover base studio ;)
@ssw11

(Oh and sorry if it doesn't make a lot of sense - haven't slept for 24 hours :| )
Okamiden
It has mirror-image graphics to the original, so the feeling of the game's design is still artistic.
/lame
This song is so sad ;_; Whenever I heard this while in the Shinshuu Plains while it was cursed, I was like, "Ohh ;_; I gotta save it!"
funny you say that, where i live some people hate this jewel, some of my friends can't stand to watch me play it, but they also hate final fantasy, silent hill and practically anything that requires a little bit of brains to play, after all how hard can it be to pull triggers and blast fools, (nothing against FPS's i love them too) but this is playing art, and the music you're listening to here is proof of that peace out.
Such awesome music, it makes me actually get on with my coursework. :P Maybe it's the sense of depression...
This song is so incredibly beautiful, but so sad. It makes me feel like I'm dying. It felt like Ammy was dying whenever this song played.
when i first came in shinsuu palin and saw it cursed I thought whoa. and the music fitted perfect. it's just giving you someting sad about it
@ForeverNintendogsLuv In the game is called "Great divine intervention" but this is an official soundtrack, which is taken from the japanesse version and it has another name
playing the game I always both wanted to keep hearing this music but also revive nature
kept between 2 sides
desire and will
this game does more than being played, it also lets you experience yourself
I like this game a lot :)
i love okami and the soundtrack
i find this relaxing and soothing.
Okami is art.
that was deep man. deep
Now I want this game.
the theme of winter... thats what i call it.
この曲大好き。
あの世界に浸りたい。
When I first played the game and heard this, I looked all around thinking about how sad it looked... I actually felt pretty bad for the place...
@Nonman642 There's a new game plus (which i havent got yet) and you can replay the game after you beat the game once that's why all the stray beads are important because in your new game plus you can have an invincibility necklace and also you'll have most of the items from your previous game.
Sad but beautiful
This is actually a really good song to listen to while reading a book...
@TailsFan23
you ever notice that really short stories, or games, or one-hit-wonders are the best but they end Q_Q
I had no idea Clover disbanded...this game was utterly amazing
quickly find that sapling ammy
makes me feel sad like the trees in november....
3 people got killed by the cursed zone... love this song
Made me sad first time around... made me want to cure poor Shinshu. :)
Awww this makes me wanna cry :'(
@GotsItGoinOn
It's not supposed to sound evil - it's supposed to make you feel the pain of nature and animals that suffer under the curse.
Buy it again. it is worth it.
@Pop12646Okami
Aww, I'm sorry to hear that, man. I'm sure she liked this song. :)
i was thinking the same thing *virtual hug*
I started crying when I heard this...
very sad and very effective
If you clear all of the cursed zones, is there any place to listen to this song? It's my favorite music in the game.
@SadChester Your very welcome ^_^
@SadChester, yeah, it's called time of parting.
Definitely!
i have no idea waht okami is but i love the music :D
ah...........wait what??! I don't get your logic......but now I'm sad because you reminded me summer vacation isn't endless....
While they may be richer, the paper-like filter is a lot less apparent on the Wii version. I kind of see that as a downside, since it gave the game a sort of living painting look. They also took out the wonderful credits as well.

So that's why you're listening to this theme. Both facts are equally tragic, right?
I heard that there was a second game is coming, i hope it's true ^^
love Okami, my best game ever
*virtual hug*
makes me think: why? why does this must happen??
I play Okami at my friends place and now i want it sooo bad... but my mom wont get my a PS2... im saving up ^^
@TailsFan23 They did made okamiden, so I'm not sure they're done entirely (I certainly hope not)

The music reminded me of my closest friend who left me behind...
you said it
@ssw11 i could be wrong but i think it actually is japanese voice actors playing but they scrambled up the voices for some reason :L
Yeah....
One of the medolies or tunes sounds like Rosa by kluster.... at 1:46
When i heard in the game, it was bugging me where heard it from!
STILL a awesome tune
I'll hold you!
you gotta love the tunes man , class A shit,
Beautiful :')
...In a sad way
@Ascensiam aah dude you know you can download the song right?it seems someone still lives under a rock
it calms me down and reminds of many animes :']
well i guess it is to some, at least for her..
which is where ammy comes in!
Almost reminds me of Fire Emblem Fates Birthrights
It's Ookami, what's there not to like?
