It would be interesting to see if he does have the best success rate in international tests. I've a feeling Chris Paterson would potentially be at the top
@@parsmad mossy missed a conversion under the posts in a RWC match when the ball fell off the tee. As much as I love him, that cardinal sin of kicking disqualifies him as the best kicker.
@@parsmad I recall a while back that someone looked at all the international 10s, and considered not only their kick success %, but also looked at where they kicked from (because someone could conceivably refuse to kick difficult kicks and then end up with a high kicking %), and on those criteria Steyn was the best by some margin.
He is most definitely my favourite fly half and he to is the reason why I became a HUGE Bulls fan. In my opinion and the way I see it his skills is somehow equal to Daniel Carter also: Try scoring, Most accurate goal kicking, field kicks and drop goals. Who else agrees?
People think of Morries just as a kicker..but he was a great player in so many aspects of the game...Legend..Thanks Morne..you gave me some of my best rugby memories...
In an era of never ending news about Dan Carter, JW, and quade Cooper, a totally underrated 10
The Morne Steyn Fourie du Preez combo, probably the best 9-10 combo, rugby ever had.
A fairy tale career! Finished off two Lions campaigns and wins it for the boks! AGAIN !!! 37 Years old! Incredible!
Prob the best goalkicker the game ever had. This guy never missed

Naas Botha
Dan Carter's laughing
One of his best games had to be the 2009 Tri-nations where he scored all 31 points for the Boks against NZ

I am so chuffed to see that he is in the squad for the Lions tour. Really hoping that he makes an appearance if he isn't a first pick.
Mad isn't it? Broke our hearts 12 years ago and he's still around!

The Bulls vs Crusaders Super14 semi final of 2009 was an electric atmosphere in Pretoria/Loftus.
Steyn's best ever game

Absolute legend
Morne Steyn is die GOAT van loskakels. Brilliant rugby speler. Die ou het als gehad, awesome speler.
Greatest Of All Time. GOAT!!!
Consumate professional! Exemplary kicker, from hand or tee! Solid tackler, great pass.....and underrated with ball in hand.
Love this guy
Very happy that he is in the Bok squad, we need experienced guys, who are also in great form.
World class
Technically superb.
Mr. Consistancy
Cometh the man cometh thee hour❤
GOAT
Morne Steyn, what a legend! ❤ always felt he was better than Cater etc...
Leaker Morne
The Legend. Favourite son of Loftus
Why does no one use drop goals anymore?
No one is as good as Carter Wilkinson and Morras were
White line fever
Its very difficult to pull off and a lot easier to milk for a penalty
