Really like how they presented themselves! Especially Cipriani explaining his thought process
6:34 When Steyn mentioned prepping for the future he was referring to the 2033 British and Irish Lions tour. 😂
"The more things change the Morne Steyn the same"
We just need him to come off the bench every 4years if we want win😄👍
😁🐐
put 15 guys with Lions jerseys on the field and Steyn would not have missed any
sure, and include passes out to the wings and danny would win again.
@@kevinwillis6707 funny how Bryan Habana is a leading try scorer often with Steyn at 10.
@@wezvandez was....was a leading try scorer..
@@kevinwillis6707 he actually IS the leading try scorer for tier 1 nations in international rugby...often with Morne Steyn at his side. Who's Danny again?
@@wezvandez the guy who won the kicking comp...
Mornė Steyn reminds me of the British and Irish lions
A retreated players episode between Carter and Wilkinson would be goated
Hardout, should put league Vs rugby. Thurston Vs carter?
Nope
@@capripopata5173 Thurston wouldn't get close.
Seems like Danny has a bit more wind to work with. Think it would have been better to have them do this on the same pitch.
Yeah also big difference age group
@@slixenvy650 4 years difference?? Lol
yeah the wind for danni was and advantage
I would've loved it if it was Morne Steyn against Dan Carter. How badass would that be.
Who is the most accurate kicker in World Rugby?
Hayden parker
Leigh Halfpenny
your mum
Maas botha
Gareth Steenson.
We need more videos like this... thank you and beautifull.
Enjoyed listening to Cipriani explaining his method. Seems like he’d be a good coach/mentor to young players.
That’s one of the reasons he went to Bath, to mentor Orlando Bailey.
He would. Also liked his suggestions he recently shared about english rugby
Can't help but feel that Danny was handicapped by the English weather conditions
Because there is no weather in South Africa.
The wind definitely helped Danny for those kicks in line with the posts where up in the highveld this time of the year hardly a breath of wind. Both fantastic players 👌
he's handicapped by the fact he's not a very good goalkicker... like not top 20 in the Premiership let along world.
The more things change, the Morné Steyn the same
Oh that's just bloody brilliant.
Stolen comment but always a good comment
Hayden Parker needs to be considered for this I feel, he has excellent kicking stats
Come crunch time who would you want as your kicker?
I'd pick Steyn.
Banana kicks doesn't really favor Steyn's style of kicking. He has no soccer background. However, switched on Cipriani is worldclass but comes across as too temperamental.
Well maybe next time both do it in a stadium...open field with wind 🤷🏾♂️
That was amazing Danny but this was a awesome one
wish Cipriani had played more for England
I wish Danny Cipriani played like that when he played at the Melbourne Rebels.
Johnny of course! Johnny Sexton
*Wilkinson
@@track6631 nah
PLEASE do a "longest place-kick" challenge with Frans Steyn vs literally anyone else.
Do it at altitude(Bloemfontein) and we might just see some outrageously long kicks being landed. He is probably going to retire soon, let's get it filmed before he leaves the sport.
It's been done and Elliot Daly just beat Jordan Barrett from 65 m!
@@jamesgunn5103 Ah, you are right. Forgot about that episode. But maybe they can do a version 2.0 with Frans...
Or
Longest Drop Goals. .. I'm not sure the channel has done that yet?
4 Teams from Europe are currently in SA for the URC. Their best kickers can surely meet up with Frans in Bloem or Pretoria after their matches this weekend for a bit of fun. 🤞
Reece Hodge has a monster on him
@@leightarentaal2123 It's not that accurate though. Frans is probably 65-70m on the fly on any field in the world.
My mate at high school used to regularly put them over from the corner flag….
Crazy how the regular Loftus crowd showed up just to watch Morne kick😂
Golden wrists killed it!
Just wanted to flex I meet Morné steyn today so…🤷🏾♂️
@RSAWarrior9 thats in the past
I really like these videos they are lost of fun and I like how chilled the SA guys take it haha look at Faf even was funny we always loose these but its fun
How is Ciprahni not playing for England as a specialised kicker…best England kicker since Johnny Wilkinson.
Like field goal kicker in NFL, he can used to score vital penalties in the 2nd half or for a drop goal.
Come on play as a winger or outside center maybe
Being nice that is exactly how they kick !
If more players train like this, their kick accuracy would get better.
Wasn't expecting that from eng supporter but fairs to danny
Annnnnnnd....the wind wins....! I realise it's just a bit of fun, but at least an attempt to make the conditions and variables similar would have made this more reasonable. In addition: as Morne said, whoever came up with some of the kicking positions for the challenge must have been enjoying smoking some goooood sh..... ;)
Sure even you would score with the wind🤪
Percy Montgomery has a good boot too.
In what era? In the1990s Neil Jenkins was the best, other nations might have tidier %ages, but it took a very talented (and caring for his sister) Kiwi to be the best. Carter is my vote, from a Velley Boy Taff
Hmmm Jenkins kicked 300 kicks in his Career, carter 1500 with 78% success rate and Wilkinson kicked 1700 with a 87% success rate I know who I would pick 🏴
Morne struggles because all he knows how to do is kick it straight. No slicing or fading.
Or Daniel Carter
how is the name of the kicking tee of danny cipriani?
Mornes conservativeness was his undoing. But based on his play style it’s not surprising
C'mon Danny! That's 3-0 to england!
Morne competing with no wind at all. Was at a disadvantage
Jonny Wilkinson is the only man for the job 👊🏻
Cipriani Cipriani Cipriani...if you know you know
There's three pints. Get 'em down ya neck!
Can we see this on the same field, please please please.
Or even better. Have them go to the one guy's field and then come to the other guy's home field!😁
Morne had no wind
Can you do Dan Carter next Please
Mornè
Barret (jordy/Boden
Would like to see Frans Steyn in one of these challenges possibly going up against his brother Morné
They’re not brothers
Steyn🥳
Morne jou legend.
This is a false test - they need to bring in BMT. So, here's my suggestion: Bring a guy with a chain saw in. Before the kicks start, cut somebody's leg off, just to show that you mean business. Then whoever loses, gets his leg cut off. BMT.
This challenge proves absolutely nothing, because Danny had wind on an open field. Morné had zero wind on Loftus.
And you think kicking with wind makes it easier?!
@@chiefslim9353 Bruh, Danny literally said the wind helped him to kick it in at the odd angle.
@@Laurentus yeah but the kicks in front of the posts?!
@@chiefslim9353 Which are still easier, even with wind. If they want to do challenges like these that actually mean something, they have to do it in the exact same environment.
@@Laurentus I agree with you about making the challenges even, however what you are saying about the wind is completely false, ask any 10 I work with they will tell you the same
por favor inviten a Juan Martin Hernández
should have gotten hayden parker
Wind difference....
Yet Morné is the Lion tamer...
Try get Pollard
32-12
That's in the past what abt the last game 26-24
@@noclue6554 B&I Lions?
Elma Fudd...
Surely the ALL BLACK will win
Cip missed his second kick ? 😂
Morne Steyn all day long💯
Morne has the personality of wallpaper
Nah he's just Afrikaans
I'm not sure what you were expecting.
Castelo:-....I sat next to Morné Steyn at a music festival with about a dozen other celebrity sportsmen. He was the only one that did not get irritated with kids wanting his autograph or shaking his hand. He is a gentleman through and through, unlike the yobs that give you a hard on.
Overrated players
Morne has been apart of 2 British and Irish lions series and won in both making him the player to win the most series in the modern era
Morne Steyn has three super rugby trophies, Under 21 world cup, French Top 14 title, a tri nations and two British & Irish lions series to his name, an 88% career kicking accuracy and holds the record for most points scored in a single Tri nations game, 31 points.... against New Zealand. Over rated?
@@RealAfricanDude don't forget he was part of the most dominant Book team since Nick Mallets days.
