  • I went to Levuka, old capital of Fiji which was entitled to UNESCO. The road condition was really bad that I was nearly died on hills.

Amazing all the way from Korea you cycled solo all around Ovalau and also visiting the Old Capital of Fiji - Levuka! Huge thanks also to the family that fixed her bike at their workshop.

Very interesting vlog. I came from a place two villages after Natovi (where you caught the ferry on the mainland). I enjoyed you documenting that road I travel on.

I love fixing the old parts and keeping them functioning on the bike. It's all part of the journey, looking at that part and remembering the kindness of the people who helped with the repair.

You have a big respect for people that live in those conditions? Or think of our respect for you showing us your daily journeys along your life that you are sharing with us. You are as tough as you think the people that you encounter are. So all the people that you made the living difficult situations you are as tough as they are.

Full thing, good gloves are meant to be worn, not carried or packed away. And when you’re purchasing them, make sure that the palms of them have Kevlar or something like that in there because it’s really the thing that’s stopping your head in your face from hitting the ground actually

at 10:30 you were close to panic with anxiety probably as a result of the thinking what had happened/might have happened and the adrenaline rushing up then dropping, after your crash. (fight or flight response after trauma). Your multi-tool prob got pilfered on the ferry while you were trying to stay warm. Thieves have no conscience, and their 'marks' are only that. After the fact but If I'm in an unknown area/culture I will always check on my stuff at intervals. It was good of that bus driver to weld/fix your 6-pack front mini-rack fashioning a homemade piece for you (necessity is the mother of invention). Consider yourself fortunate! 😇
First Aid Kit - I always carry a small tube of bacitracin-neomycin or one time use betadine swabs to use on injuries after they are cleaned (relief when I saw you had cleaned the injury) It aids in preventing infection, healing long term. Bad that the injury was at the base of the palm where you put pressure on the H-bars. But you're alright, still riding and still have your right hand! 🙂
I also always carry a small bottle of Mylanta for stomach ailments. Luckily never had to use on myself but proved helpful to a few Hostel roommates that came down with food poisoning/upset stomach.😷
