- Cycling from the Mexican border to Victorias home in Chihuahua, to see the north and reunite with her family and friends after a year on the road.
This episode has some mature themes, so if you are watching with kids you may want to skip around those parts..
Specifically from 4:30 - 5:20 (after the photo of the Coati), and from 10:00 - 13:50 (after I talk about the Worlds Largest Lithium deposit)
We've decided to include these moments not to scare anyone or set a sad tone, but to try and tell the complete, authentic story of our adventure. I know some of you subscribed for happy joyful videos, and while this one still has plenty of that, I wouldn’t be telling the full story if I cut out those difficult moments. Nonetheless I think you’ll really enjoy this one, the ending is pretty special so I hope you stick around for it!

Hey folks! This episode is a little different to our previous ones, as it contains some mature themes regarding Cartel activity, one of the realities of life in Mexico. It’s only a few minutes of the video so the timecodes are in the description if you are watching with kids and want to skip around those parts.
I know some of you subscribed for happy joyful videos, and while this one still has plenty of that, I wouldn’t be telling the full story if I didn't also include the more difficult moments too. Nonetheless I think you’ll really enjoy this one, the ending is pretty special so I hope you'll stick around for it!
hope your adventures are just as amazing as you guys:)
As always I enjoyed the video very much. The Mexican way of life is also very interesting.
Hardships such as these should not be avoided but be taught about thoroughly so that those who actually lived through them are not forgotten about. Experiences are something to be learnt off of and shared, and you are doing just that no?
It’s not often that I we’ll up but I did in this episode. What a great welcome home for Victoria and you. I’m going to share this with my cycling friends.
You both are incredible. And your journey is amazing. Thank you both for sharing it with us all 👍
I'm crying tears of joy for the journey you guys have made. Way to go guys
I cried too!
same :)@@canuckyank82
What an encouraging message, this made me happy to read
Genuinely crying at your approach into the city.
What a privilege to come along on the journey with you
Very moving to see Victoria’s reception in her ‘hometown’. Also nice to realize all of the people watching out for you in your travels. It’s reassuring to note that there are good people everywhere on the planet. You bring out the best in people you meet! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us all!
What a beautiful welcome from Chihuahua cyclists. Made me cry a bunch of happy tears. 💚💚💛💛
How beautiful is Mexico♥️
So sad for the security problems. The people are so nice. They really don't deserve it.
its mostly in the north...rest of Mexico is more peaceful...
It's the insatiable appetites of the Norte which caused those problems originally IMO
@@yomommastupid
I asked you a question then immediately got a warning from yt!!
it was a very normal question about the security issues, but maybe they filtered the "word" !!
Depende de cómo lo quieras ver...en toda esta región nadie roba , nadie delinque, la mafia no deja, tu puedes dejar un juguete una bicicleta tirada enfrente de tu casa y por lo regular ahí amanece@@yomommastupid
Well Greg, you are in good company with Victoria. The support and welcome home you both received was most definitely heart warming. Best travels to you both.
This cycling documentary has what most others don’t - a love story. A love letter to the Americas and a touchingly subtle and humorously told relationship. Great storytelling that had me weeping away a bit at the end x
That last bit with you arriving with all the cyclists brought me to tears. What an amazing journey so far.
Praise be to God that you arrived home safely, despite the fatigue and trouble during the trip. The situation that brought tears to my eyes was the reception by the people of the region, who were very happy with your arrival. Thank you for providing such videos that taught me a lesson about travel and adventure on a bicycle. Praise be to God.
It has been a year. Wow! I have enjoyed every video minute. The viewer never knows the struggle, the wind, the climb, the bad roads, the bad smells, the blisters, the illness, the wild animals, the bugs, the bad people. But through it all you made it to Chihuahua. Congratulations on a monumental achievement. This vould be the greatest event in your lives. Thank God for the faithful people who have protected you. God bless you as you trek on! What a fantastic adventure! Thank you for the video!
I so loved this video. It was so nice to see Victoria visit the town that she grew up in and be able to share it with us. I must admit that I had to wipe away a few tears. Oh my goodness, I cried when you reached Victoria's home and her father came to meet her. What an awesome thing for so many people to greet you when you came into Chihuahua. Enjoy your time with family! There is much to celebrate!
I was born in Chihuahua in a mennonite community, left there when I was 5. Last time I was back there was 30 years ago just before I lost my grandmother. Beautiful country down there, great people in the rural areas. Glad you had a safe adventure.
This is incredible. This is by far my favorite episode. It shows the beauty and kindness of the Mexico and it’s people so perfectly. The ending brought a tear to my eye.
I got goose bumps at 21:50, my family is from Casas so it is crazy seeing something I have seen my entire life on family trips featured in your video.
Brilliant episode guys...I'm not going to lie, it absolutely brought a tear to my eye! Viva la Mexico and best wishes always. Cheers !
I've been watching since the first episode came out, so this brought a tear to my eye! You and Victoria have come so far (literally), it's been amazing to watch your journey! Can't wait to see the rest of it unfold. Fair play on all your achievements, keep smashing it!!! Sending love from the UK
This is so emotional. I cried watching all the love she's getting from her people, and I am a man. This is an awesome video, I love you guys ❤❤
I traveled solo all through Mexico in 2003, including time spent in very active narco areas. The local people were incredibly kind and protective of me pretty much everywhere. I would be advised of places to avoid and directed to safe places to camp or park my truck. The hospitality was amazing and I heard from many people how they were THANKFUL that I had come to learn about their country. I've never been treated as well in my own country by random strangers. It was a very inspiring trip.
2003 was a quiet year, drug trafficking violence in Mexico began in 2008 and in 2010 things got out of control in many cities in Mexico such as Ciudad Juarez and Tijuana.
I cried at the end, when you were greeted by other cycles, escorted you into town. What a beautiful ending. Home sweet home😊❤😢
What a beautiful thing to see. The warm welcome from Victoria's family and friends is inspirational.
I like how Victoria thinks everything is so cute 🥰
All those cyclists who joined Victoria & you on your home stretch had me in tears. What an amazing adventure! Job well done!

Greg, I already said It to Victoria but had to share It here too. Thank you not just for sharing this, spending tons of hours, editing, choosing the right music making an excelent storytelling but for being honest bringing us a small idea (because we never know until we get It done by ourselves) of how would It be to cycle across México. Me as a Bikepacker Im also looking forward to cycle the Americas one day, and this video solved tons of my doubts, good luck to you both, tail winds ❤
Cómo he llorado con la llegada a Chihuahua ❤️❤️ so beautiful !
Yo también 😅
What a heart warming video. It's great to see the safe passage through Mexico. It's wonderful to see Victoria light up when she made it home. The outpouring of cyclists joining Victoria and yourself, for the escort into town was heart warming. I can't wait to see what the next chapter holds for both of you. I hope Victoria is joining you for the rest of the journey. Cheers

Mexico is a great country with really great people. It’s so nice to see the small little towns and friendly people.
It was funny to see Victoria’s cycling tan lines when she was laying in the pool. Cycling clothes definitely give us crazy tan lines.

Such a beautiful journey. I definitely teared up as Victoria began encountering her friends and family..such unbrided joy and love. ❤
What an amazing part of your journey! So so nice to see Victoria so happy!
I'm crying of joy for you guys and special Victoria for the positive reaction that she always made when things where tuff and hard to do. Petje af voor jullie fiets tocht en de moeilijke klimpartijen. (Dutch saying from a real Dutch man who knows what biking is. Thanks for the nice videos you made for us to enjoy your trip.
Wow. This has to be the most emotional episode so far, it really had everything. From the baby scorpion and the coati, to the reality of travelling in Mexico, to the random encounter with Victoria’s ‘Cowboy Uncles’ at a random petrol station, to the insanely cool welcome into Chihuahua city! I am so glad you two both enjoyed your rest. I’d say that you are one of the very few recent cases I’ve seen of youtube truly rewarding and recommending videos that are genuinely exceptional!
You must feel relieved to finally catch up with editing, congrats!
I still and will always say you 2 are crazy. Happy she made it home and you both got their safely. Take care. Thanks for the great videos and editing. 🙂
